I pressed no tutorial, but it still forced me into one. Then I tried to start a game but it got stuck on “tutorial”. Even when I finished the tutorial it never let me start again. I tried shutting MinesweeperXL and opening it again but it didn’t work. I’d highly not recommend

I played this game on my computer years ago. It took a few tries on MinesweeperXL for me to get my groove back. But it was like riding a bike. 🚲

💵 I don’t buy apps or do in app purchases so I found the game frustrating. New ‘lives’ are added after 25 minutes. This is something I don’t remember from playing on the computer and is a little excessive.

More frustrating 😠 is when I opened MinesweeperXL to play it asked if I wanted to update so I did. Now MinesweeperXL won’t open. It was kinda fun while it lasted but time to delete I guess. 😕

So I have loved this game from way back to my first computer. I have been playing MinesweeperXL version of the game for some time now from another developer. When I saw that this was an extra large version of it I was geeked. I downloaded it and started playing immediately. The first game as flawless. I continued to play it many times over a 24 hour period and from the second game on it became ultra glitchy. It would set off bombs when I wasn’t even touching the screen. I play the game in fast/flag mode and I would mark a bomb and it would remove it immediately. I would mark it again and it would remove the flag and set it off. I sent the developer a message and never got a response or even acknowledged for my submission. If these things were fixed than this would be the most amazing game and would deserve 5 stars. Until they fix it I will give it a one.

I have played this game for over a year, but 3 days after I purchased for no ads, the free coin feature disappeared. What happened? Restart computer, look for updates, that doesn’t seem to be it. Can this be fixed?

It's hard to marathon this game, I want to be able to play this game for like an hour but I can't due to the limited lives. Please make it easier to get more lives for free or allow the players to pay to get infinite lives.
Also, as a way to make money, although you developers don't seem like the money grabbing type, add cosmetics that a player could buy with coins to add some more income.
I love the huge map and minimal ads, just more lives please!

I love MinesweeperXL and have made it my goal to get past the 8,000 mine puzzle. But every time I complete the 2016 on(which I’ve had to do about 4-5 times now.), it makes me restart and redo the 2016 puzzle. This is very frustrating

Really thrown by the update. Can’t figure out how to remove the photo embedded on the board - I would much rather the classic color scheme than this photo. Also lost the yellow warning when a flag is incorrectly placed. Any way to change these both back to how it used to be? Have been playing this for years and I’m really regretting updating MinesweeperXL .

When I first started playing this game it was really frustrating. There have been some improvements and I am currently happier than I was.

Really good. My one complaint is walking the thin line between flags and uncovering. The game becomes more of a mechanical challenge rather than a mental one. I would suggest an option to make the long touch uncover an area and the fast tap to add a flag.

Finally I cleared 2016 with no mistakes!!
It took so long but today is a lucky day.
Next I will try 8000 with no mistakes. Hope I can do that before I die...

Very good. Feedback is good. Responds to my input correctly and points out when wrong. Gives options for play.

I just can’t stay away from this game! I’ll do a whole section, take a break, but in minutes I’m craving more of the play! Can’t get enough! Very fun, challenging my intuition at times!!
Definitely can’t recommend this wonderful game too highly! A must have!

Excellent game. I’ve played it since the 70s, almost no advertising and hours of fun. I always set it to the maximum available grid.

I love this game because it challenges my brain. I'm on the XXL-8000 level. I like MinesweeperXL better than others because of the "undo" option. I can play this forever!

Every now and then it will glitch and explode a bomb on a square I’ve never touched, I turned touch duration up hoping that would help but the bombs still randomly explode

Enough said. No annoying pressure to pay and ads are 5 seconds but well worth $2 to just donate and no ads. A huge board of 2016 mines and a very handy map to help keep track! A great escape.

Thank god for the new feature that helps you find your unopened spaces! I spent 100 hours on the expert level and was only 14 away before the upgrade! Finally Done! Love this game!

I have always been a fan of this game. But this bigger platform has me playing for hours! Great way to whittle away time. Works offline with limited opportunity to revive lives. But I like the challenge!

I love all the new changes! Especially the button to search unexplored! I have played the game for years and I love it! Thanks to the creators for an amazing game and for being responsive to feedback! They have taken all my suggestions!

Large grid, undo, excellent performance, undo, best minesweeper app for minesweeper players. Yes I spent a couple dollars to get rid of ads.
