Ok to start off, MathAlarmClock is horrible. I figured out that you have to leave MathAlarmClock on all night. Then when I woke up, MathAlarmClock seemed to silence all my other alarms making me late. Also right when I clicked MathAlarmClock to see what was wrong, it started making a loud noise and it was the alarm clock, which was two hours late. And finally, I have a big family and I can’t have loud noises like that. It still makes sound even when my ringers is on silent. I forgot something, when I say the correct number, it says I am incorrect and I usually have to repeat my self a few times just to turn off the alarm. This is such a bad app.
You have to leave your phone on all night and it overheats and it dies and it spams your phone only like five times if it is off it only woke me up 3 times out of the fifty times I have used it I hate MathAlarmClock no offense to the creators they probably worked really hard but why don't they make it so you actually wake up on time and you can turn of your phone without having to leave your phone to overheat and die I did not like MathAlarmClock and don't recommend getting get a better one that you can turn of your phone and still get woken up I have woken up more times with my regular iPhone alarm it also sometimes shuts off already and gives me espresso points for nothing I personally hate MathAlarmClock I would give it a 1 out of 10 that is how much I dislike MathAlarmClock once again I am sorry to the creators and this is my opinion it could not be yours but I do not recommend MathAlarmClock at all
I don't like how you have to charge your phone while it's in the screen . That is messing up your battery . I don't want MathAlarmClock anymore you have to use coffee coins to buy upgrades it's not a bad app it's just that it's stupid how you have to leave the screen in for an alarm if that's the case I'm going to download a new one it's wasting my time and when I don't have a charger it's dead I like 2-3 hours I have a I phone and lots of people know there battery life don't stay to good. It's an okay app PROS AND CONS
I really love the idea of requiring math problems to be solved in order to turn off an alarm because I tend to subconsciously snooze or turn my alarms off. However, the microphone doesn't pick up my answers easily (though this may be more of a fault of my phone). I wish the math problems were harder, though, and included multiplication and division as its Einstein setting. Or perhaps add a puzzle to solve? Overall MathAlarmClock is good for chronic snoozers but would be better with more advanced alarm requirements.
The concept is great. However, the microphone doesn’t work very well and it doesn’t pick up when I have the correct answer. I have to select a multiple choice option most of the time since the voice won’t work. Also, it’s very annoying that MathAlarmClock must be open for the alarm to work. Be prepared because it will drain your battery to keep the screen on all night! I find it helpful to set an Apple alarm first and then open MathAlarmClock .
I love the concept and I accept the challenge! The problem is, when I try to speak, the phone doesn't listen! No matter what I say, while the microphone symbol acknowledges it's hearing sound, the voice recognition doesn't catch my answer...the first time.
Naturally, there are two questions that need answering. I select from the multiple choice for question one and THEN MathAlarmClock decides to hear my voice for question two. This has gotta be fixed!
I was loving MathAlarmClock . Now I'm annoyed.
MathAlarmClock is absolutely wonderful! I just don't think it's fair that you have to use espressos in order to have the ease of the alarm being automatically set for you. Without using espressos to get this feature, I'm forced to have to turn the alarm on every night, rather than being at ease knowing the alarm will automatically be set for me. I've already had instances where I've forgotten to turn the alarm on, forgetting that it's not already set for me. The next issue I have is the fact that the mic doesn't easily understand my answers. I have to constantly repeat myself, even if I got the answer right. I don't have time in the mornings to repeat myself, especially if I am speaking clear enough for my words to be comprehended. Other than these issues, I think that MathAlarmClock and concept are pretty great. It's the only alarm that fully wakes me up to the point where I'm not tempted to fall back asleep. I absolutely recommend MathAlarmClock to those who tend to constantly hit the snooze button and are difficult to wake up in the morning.
It works perfectly and WILL wake you up, though it needs a setting for the difficulty of the actual problems. It has difficulty setting, but that only changes the number of problems and the amount of time for each. The problems aren't actually that challenging for some of us, so it doesn't work quite as effectively. Otherwise, I can't find a better alarm clock out there.
Best thing I have ever tried to wake me up. Know your phone and battery life, because you're running this the whole time you sleep. Ads only recently have given me an issue after about a month of use (using audio and waking me up, interfering with the alarm once or twice) but by now I have earned enough "espressos" to remove them entirely. Could improve their voice recognition, because sometimes they mishear my answer. I will keep using this for sure.
I usually use MathAlarmClock as a back-up alarm to my main one. I often fall back asleep after turning it off, so I use MathAlarmClock to keep me awake immediately afterwards. It's pretty effective. Unfortunately, this morning I had awoken to a dead phone. Apparently my charger wasn't plugged in all the way. Now, I'm not sitting here blaming a random app developer that I've never met for my mistake, but for an app that requires your screen to stay on overnight, maybe a battery display wouldn't be the worst thing to implement.
I love MathAlarmClock, but it’s not as good as the original SpkToSnooze. What I’m trying to say is that unlike the original app it doesn’t really wake me up and sometimes the alarm doesn’t go off. ALSOOOOO for the people who say that their phone overheats and dies... I’ve never experienced that on my phone and it doesn’t work as well as a phone should... I know this is bad but I keep it plugged in to my wall near my bed and I haven’t experienced any problems...
I started using MathAlarmClock at the beginning of the school year and it has helped me get up everyday for school or even if you have events on off days like a certain time you need to be ready by. I get up right away instead of rolling back over. MathAlarmClock is so great and I totally recommend.
There’s not 1 single thing I don’t like about MathAlarmClock !! It is by far the best alarm that has worked for me in an incredibly long time... I am one of the hardest people to wake up and can snooze my alarms so many times until they stop going off all together and not even realize it or remember them ever going off this one literally forces you to use your mind even if it’s easy it makes you have to think about what your doing so you have to wake up. 😴⏰😳🌤☕️🥓🍳🥞😉
MathAlarmClock gives you free points to write a five star review. It is so kind as to fill in the following review: MathAlarmClock rocks! I am a deep sleeper and since I have downloaded MathAlarmClock, I have yet to sleep through it! It's great for getting you up in the morning and making you think so you don't go back to sleep.
I usually don't wake up from the normal alarms but I do for MathAlarmClock my sister says not to have it on because it gets her pimples because she wake up early from the alarm I haven't waken up but when this alarm go on I just turn my phone off but before I didn't see the math problems but I know they there but I am going to start waking up from MathAlarmClock and thank you sooo much to who ever created MathAlarmClock even though I don't leave MathAlarmClock on all night it still wakes me up
It’s a great app and it always gets me up in the morning. I love that you can change the background to flowers, rivers, and even your own photos. You can also change the timer to whatever you like in the settings. They also have all of your favorite characters like rick telling you to get up. There are different settings for math difficulties, songs and sounds to wake up to, pretty much everything you could need to wake up for a great day.I love MathAlarmClock and give it 5/5 stars!
Going to start with a complaint. I do not like that IOS won’t allow third party alarm clocks to run in the background. MathAlarmClock, however, uses push notifications to help in case you do hit your home or power button before going to sleep.
I have narcolepsy, and especially have a difficult time waking up in the morning. A few simple math problems help turn my brain on helps wake me, while the ability to set several alarms helps me stay awake while getting ready for work.
When I found MathAlarmClock, I didn’t think that answering a few simple math questions would be enough to wake me up. I’ve never had a problem waking up to an alarm, but I would always snooze it until I’m VERY late for whatever I’m doing. But I set it to Einstein level questions, and now I really have to think to turn my alarm off. My favorite feature is the voice commands. Rather than searching for my glasses in the dark or putting my phone close to my face and getting distracted by Twitter, I can just ask what time it is.
For an alarm clock, MathAlarmClock has an interesting design. But personally my trigger is when I have to deal with “espresso’s” and other forms of “user earned credits” to buy app perks with.
I immediately just bought MathAlarmClock for a couple bucks to be able to try out all the features and avoid the headache of having extremely limited app perks.
We waste so much money on trash like a coffees and combo meals, but can’t spare a couple dollars on something that can possibly improve your life? (Depending your use)
IMO. I bought it, I use it. Works good.
Only thing I wish they’d tweak is when the alarm clock goes off and it’s set to a Voice character, I’d like the phrase to not repeat. I’d like the phrases to shuffle through their selection.
I love waking up to Yoda telling me to do better and wake up, but when we repeats himself 20 times.. I lose respect for me and build up resentment haha. Just an idea.
Great work to the Dev team!
This is definitely one of the best alarms I've ever used. From the way MathAlarmClock is set up. To the super sweet features I have to give it 5 star rating. Also being able to answer the problems. And turning off the alarm with my voice is awesome!! Definitely worth getting premium version. You have to figure what kind've clock can I get. That has all the features and things for this price! I bet you won't find one haha! What I'm saying is definitely get it. It's worth the small investment. For the value that it brings me. #NeverMissAnAlarmAgain✌🏼️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😉😎😎😎😎
