Well! This was unexpected.

I was always weary of the reviews but TRUST ME. You wanna practice certain things? Want to learn how to make a website? No? What about Python?
No? How about Ethical hacking? You have over 50 different paths. You learn the basics.. once you complete the course you will have access to this area that you can mess with the codes and it shows you SO MUCH on what you can do. HTML has so much to offer and I can say you can easily put about 5000 hours into ProgrammingHub.
Get the pro. I know paying for an upgrade is not the greatest BUT! It’s worth it. I was going to regret it until I figured out the amount of stuff you can do with it. Sololearn can’t compare to this. They have a community yes but I can’t do half of the things ProgrammingHub offers.

Worth it, but beware of bugs.

I bought Pro and am happy I did. A wide variety of topics, most lessons are compact and not wasting anyone’s time, and clearer explanations than other apps. However, there are a few bugs and the Grammar/English can be tough at times. To me, the point of language is to convey ideas, so it doesn’t matter if you use the wrong “your” or say ain’t, but some of these statements in here have to be read several times to make sense. Lots of typos. For bugs, my courses don’t track progress correctly. I refresh and the percentage hops around, even if I’ve completed the course. Completed courses don’t show up under completed. I’ve done six or seven and only one is there. I can’t change my name or picture even though I’m typing in my password correctly. I think the save button doesn’t work in the top right corner. Several random crashes. I am running the newest update of ProgrammingHub and iOS. Also, quit asking me to rate five stars after every lesson. I’ve rated 5 stars several times. Here’s 3 more

ProgramingHub: Variables(BOX)_My_Name

It was a good Lesson. There was a little confusion on my_part about adding a space to go in between DogCat I’m guessing it would be Dog_Cat if you wanted a space between two strings/words...

WORDSMITHS IDEA: Most people don’t have a very good understanding of words and their message(s). The language or I meant to say the interpretation of the message is taken wrong a-lot of times because most single/plural word has a positive or a negative connotation. Like this prefix “con-“ actually means to learn and to be misleading others. So if we could fix the language problems like a computer, things would be more understandable ... !

Good information but buggy

I’ve been using ProgrammingHub for several days and enjoying the basic information about programming and how well things are explained. Really nice to see something that focuses on the concepts first.

Unfortunately, there are a few things that would stop me from buying the pro version. There are several small bugs in the basic course, and also in the function of ProgrammingHub that are surprising. You can’t use just your email to sign up, since the window is buggy. The feedback form isn’t obvious, but even when you eventually find it, it doesn’t submit correctly, meaning that there is no way to give feedback on the bugs. Another big thing is that there’s no indication as to what courses are only for the pro version, and what’s free.

For casual use, a nice app, but needs work.

Definitely buggy and strange

I got this to learn programming languages like python and C++. I took the fundamentals course just to check it out. I already know HTML and CSS. If I didn’t I wouldn’t have been able to figure out this course at all! It asked questions related to things it did not teach. At one point it registered my answer as incorrect even though I did not choose that answer. The text is also often grammatically incorrect, with words in the wrong order. They required me to rate ProgrammingHub only a minute into the course and there was no way out of it. Trying to share the certificate I earned was impossible. I got the pro version because the “for life” option seemed like a good deal and ProgrammingHub came highly recommended from a friend. I will not be using ProgrammingHub. I saw that some of these problems were described a year ago, and the developer said they would fix it. They did not. I would like to get my money back, and I certainly question my friend’s judgement now!

Fraud and please stay away from this app

ProgrammingHub and its team is very fraudulent.I paid for the get lifetime access but still shows that I need to pay ... the customer support will respond to your queries till the time you have made the purchase and after they will not even respond to you or fix the issue .. there is no customer support number to call only email ...this is fraud team please please please stay away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update :

The team responded and fixed the issue even though it took few days of back and forth emails .. appreciate it ! Hope it will work without any further issues and will remain life time access as promised ...hence I’m giving 4 stars for showing the honesty to fix it 🙏

AMAZING app for aspiring full stack developers!!

There are so many apps and courses that promise to give you all the starter materials/info you need to get started. Most fall short of expectations....but not Programming Hub!! ProgrammingHub is honestly one of the best on the market in terms of affordability and value. They add new courses very regularly and the ability to earn certifications is an added bonus (proving to others you know what you’re talking about). I recommend Programming Hub for anyone who wants to keep learning and growing their skills. Their customer support is also amazing. 10/10. Thank you for making an awesome app for aspiring full stack developers.

Just another Mimo

I wanted to get s clear understanding of JavaScript because I thought I had a bad base understanding of it. So I started searching around for apps because I can’t bring Pluralsight with me everywhere. I saw an app called “Mimo” and I started learning. After the first lesson it said I needed to upgrade to Pro. I mean come on! At least tell people in the description that you will charge them besides saying that it has in app purchases. So I continued looking for an app and I found ProgrammingHub. I thought there would be a catch, but I wasn’t sure. I downloaded ProgrammingHub and started on the JavaScript course. After 2 lessons, it says I need to upgrade to Pro! How annoying can you people get? Now, I’m speaking on behalf of other people when I say that not everyone has the money to buy an upgrade just after two lessons. At least make some courses free and others cost money.

Great app with many language options

This is one of the better mobile programming apps for learning new languages. So far it’s all been free with no hint of the pressure to upgrade to a paid version whatsoever! I’ve only been using ProgrammingHub for a week, so time will tell if ProgrammingHub is as great as it seems so far. Either way, I’d recommend it to any one looking to get started in a new language but not yet ready to commit to an in depth paid course online.

Great but one really bad problem.

Frick why the heck do I have to buy Pro or share it on Facebook for some of the features. I’m too young for Facebook you morons. Also I bet you would make a lot more money if you lowered the price permanently of buying the pro Version. And I don’t mean a sale I actually mean permanently. If you hack me you would see that I have Facebook but that’s actually just messenger kids. But this is still a good app. Just lower the prices and get rid of that entire share on Facebook Thing. I bet you would have a lot more good reviews and a lot more customers if you just did that. Otherwise this is a great app.

Java glitch

I tried the free version just to see what I would be getting for my money. I selected the Java course and got to the first quiz. It asks, “what is Java? I selected “it is a programming language”. The system then comes back and says, “oops it’s not a video game or a desert island”. It’s obvious it’s not registering my answer. I don’t see a way to skip over or continue without the programming registering my answer. I wrote the company to let them know and give them a chance to fix it before I wrote this review. They responded right away but then never corrected the glitch. It’s been over a month now. I have also deleted ProgrammingHub and downloaded it again. I’m certainly not paying for something like this. ProgrammingHub is suppose to teach you how to program but obviously they don’t know how to program their stuff correctly. Frustrated to say the least.

Not bad

A good app with a lot of material. I have found a good amount of small typos and logic errors for example: in the IT basics course there is a diagram with arrows labeled “input” “output” “process” when really “process” should be in the middle and “output” should be last. There was a quiz on this later and I’m concerned that if I hadn’t already known that it would interfere with my learning. I tried to leave feedback suggesting the implementation of an error/typo found button so users can report these errors to get them fixed for future customers to they don’t get confused but when I tried to submit the feedback I got an error and couldn’t submit anything. Overall not a bad app and should help you learn the content

Hmmm, hoping for some app improvements

I like it, and can get through the often incorrect English grammar and word use (e.g., “Let’s Revise” ?? it should be “Let’s Review”). I can’t find the dark mode switch which is advertised in the FAQ as being at the bottom of the settings pop-out from the Home Screen. I can’t change my avatar. I can’t pick my iOS voice of choice. I can’t see all the matching items in a question...the scrolling doesn’t work, and the videos at the end of a module should be at the start. I purchased the 6th anniversary Lifetime Pro package, and I’m hoping you REGULARLY make updates to ProgrammingHub . Thank you.

Pro Lifetime Member > It’s a Subpar Experience

I’m not sure what happened to the development team, but there are several BIG issues present on iOS 15 for iPhone 12 Pro Max users. For starters, the Back button doesn’t work.

Also, I completed a new course and the Certificate said I couldn’t download it unless I complete the test… which I did. So it’s not recognizing completed courses… (not a big deal bc these Certs aren’t usable in a business environment)

And then there is the content itself. It’s great for beginners, but the courses I have taken don’t provide a great deal of depth. Don’t expect to get much outside of the bare minimum… which is enough to hold a conversation with someone… but not enough to fix a problem or start a project.

This isn’t an amazing app. Don’t trust the reviews

ProgrammingHub is, an app trying to teach you programming, is riddled with errors. Both in the logic it is trying to teach you and ProgrammingHub it self.

ProgrammingHub seldom saves your progress. So if you want to do the same lessons over and over again, sure get it. But to me this is annoying and a waste of time I don’t have.

Second don’t buy into their possible UDAAP violating count down on your special deal price for membership. It appears to count down making you think you need to hurry and purchase but give it an hour and go back in and surprise! It’s reset. Oh also if you want web access too you need to purchase your membership on the web. Buy it through the phone and you won’t have it. They don’t tell you that.

Everything about ProgrammingHub screams scam to me. There are plenty of sites teaching this stuff for either free or cheap and plenty of books in the library. I figured it may be nice to have something on my phone to jog my memory on my commute to work but boy was I wrong. I’ll just bring my kindle as well.

Completely different app

ProgrammingHub was my favorite for reference. It didn't have anything behind payments, all the information was a few taps away. Now its a completely different app targeted at training. The courses that are offered are tap to continue slide shows with questions at the end. Most of the languages aren't available because the course for them is being prepared, which is frustrating because it used to all be there in the old version. This is 2 different apps... I only wanted the first version. I have no problem at all deleting this new version, there are better courses than this that are free and finished. 0 stars for the new version, 4-5 stars for the old version.

Should make their customer service easier to reach

I asked for a refund because I thought I couldn’t log back in after making an account. I initially thought I made an account because I signed up with Apple. Turns out I could merge accounts, but that wasn’t clear. I now would like to keep the $35 special vs paying $600 because unlike many other apps this breaks down information by going into details. I’d appreciate if customer service would reach out to me to make sure I only pay $35 for pro.

Well designed with some slight issues

I am enjoying using ProgramingHub so far. My only issue is that there are many typos which can make it hard to read at times. Mostly, the issue is noticeable inside of quizzes where the sentences run together. Ironically, it looks like a line break (or two) was missed during programming the quizzes. That being said, I believe the value and convenience is worth picking ProgrammingHub up. The developers have put a lot of thought into designing this as a mobile learning environment.

Love it but keeps crashing

I absolutely love ProgrammingHub and therefore, my only complaint is the bugs. The course I am working on keeps crashing and I am redirected to my course list. Please have this fixed so I can continue my learning experience. I have been experiencing this since last year. ProgrammingHub is a gem and has a lot to offer, but this bug is the only downside to it.

By

Feature request

Please can you keep back button little lower when you enter in course like( when you tap on course name it opens course index) but button of going back is almost touching digital clock time on left top corner this happens on iPhone 11 Pro Max I don’t know if anyone else have same issue please and again thank you very much

New Courses

Absolutely loving the amount of content there is available to learn. However, I think something crucial is missing. Game Development has two of the mouse commonly used game engines by both normal users and gaming companies. One of those engines is Unity, and the other is Unreal engine. I’m loving ProgrammingHub, I think it’s an amazing opportunity, but I’m really hoping you add the latest Unreal Engine course development to ProgrammingHub . That’s all I’m asking for. ✌️

A great intro to programming

I’m currently attending a coding boot camp and am using ProgrammingHub to augment and reinforce the material from the course. So far it’s been a great resource for me. Lessons are broken into short segments that I’m able to fit in to short moments of free time, while on break at work, on the bus, with my morning coffee etc. The material is clear and concise. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get into programming.

Too many accuracy errors

Good concept but the training is simply not accurate enough to teach a beginner. I know how to program and see the errors in the lessons and mini quizzes that would cause confusion for a newbie. At first I thought it was a few random errors but now believe it’s just a lack of quality control. There are logic and syntax errors and spelling errors to make it worse. This really needs to be fixed and quality control greatly improved to be truly worth it.

I like it

Just downloaded last night and immediately began the networking tutorial. I like the UI and the interactive features allowing me to tap through the lessons and the audio is very good but i hope you can eventually modify the voice to sound more human. Glad to see plenty of options to learn from. Great work!
