Pencil Sketch Photo Camera Reviews

This is the most used app in my photography Apps collection! New sketches are added often and the adjustments features more and more practical with each update!
There is a very powerful photo editor included, more powerfu I would say than most photo editing only Apps!
The only thing that keeps puzzling me is how to clear the dot with a number on PencilSketchPhotoCamera icon, that sits there after a notification. I believe the developers totally forget about a way to clear those notifications reminders. I keep expecting being able to clear the reminders after each update, but....... Not happening so far!!

I purchased the full version of PencilSketchPhotoCamera after realizing how much I loved it. Then I got an iPhone XS Max and my photos no longer display at all on my screen. I had to delete PencilSketchPhotoCamera and go back to the free version, which is not that great with ads that are horribly invasive with sound and continual pop ups. I hope the developer can figure out what the problem is and fix it.

Not only does PencilSketchPhotoCamera give you amazing artistic photos from most normal ones, but it gives you a variety of tools to use as a filter. However, I took off one star because, although PencilSketchPhotoCamera is perfect for (and presumably made for) converting photos of faces to sketches, landscape scenes or obscure objects don’t seem to get justice for their looks. However, I actually used PencilSketchPhotoCamera to create a tattoo model out of a clay skull I had recently made. It turned out to work very well. To conclude, I am very satisfied with PencilSketchPhotoCamera but hope the developers see room for improvement.

I've been looking for an app that will convert my photos into a sketch. All of the other apps that I've come across did not work and just had one option for the sketch. PencilSketchPhotoCamera has several options not only sketches but as well u can edit to see how much shading u want and other stuff. Overall love PencilSketchPhotoCamera and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a app to covert photos into cool effects!

As an experiment, I downloaded a few apps that could do pencil sketching. PencilSketchPhotoCamera works beautifully and there are many ways to edit photos besides sketching. Lots of fun. One negative is that in order to do the next steps, you have to be patient while 5 seconds of advertising plays.... with each and every step. Otherwise I give it 5 stars for easy learning curve, sketching ability and fun to use.

Use to Love PencilSketchPhotoCamera but I just recently paid the money for upgrade and guess what? Can’t even use it now it won’t take my pics it keeps going back to original screen. I suggest until they fix this not to pay for upgrade and now I would like to get my money back who do I talk to???? Something is not working here. Use to be excellent but can’t say that any longer.

I’m a watercolor artist, and I hate sketching. This is by far the best app I’ve ever used for turning a photo into a sketch (are you listening, Photo Shop?). It’s clean and easy to use, with no goofy effects. Just turns your photo into a great sketch instantly. If you pay for PencilSketchPhotoCamera , the vast array of additional different effects is actually a little mind boggling. Great app.

Looked good except the absolutely horrible ad placements. I needed the photo editing the way PencilSketchPhotoCamera does it for a project so I reluctantly paid to remove the ads and then PencilSketchPhotoCamera promptly stopped working. My photos would by default be horribly cropped and then when I tried to fix PencilSketchPhotoCamera would bug out and close. So I had to delete and reopen with the non paid version to get it to work except for every friggin keystroke a stupid ad would come up and only half of them actually closed the others stayed on forever or bugged out PencilSketchPhotoCamera .
Probably the must buggy app I’ve ever used on App Store.

As stated with previous reviews from others, the free version correctly displays photos from your camera roll for edit but the paid version displays a selected picture at the very bottom of screen and displays only 10% of picture. Seems that this would be an easy and priority fix for the developer since it only affects his paying customers, but I assume quality of product and concern for reputation as an app developer have lost out based on the # of complaints and length of time this has been an issue.

This’ll be in your desktop, my advice is...use it.
As you spend a few minutes here and there, you'll become expert to simply dazzle your friends. Have the software download link information ready, because you will be asked.

If you are struggling with drawing or you simply want to create turn your pics into ones, PencilSketchPhotoCamera is the best for it! I’ve been using it for more than a year (on the other device) and couldn’t be more satisfied. Thanks a lot to the developer(s)!

I was enjoying PencilSketchPhotoCamera until it started refusing to open some of my photos on the camera roll. I contacted support. No response so far. Forced restart my iPad, and did all the usual app glitch things. So far no good. The same photos open in all my other apps and there are other photos I took on the roll, on the same day, that it will open.

I purchased PencilSketchPhotoCamera a year ago after using the free version for a while. However the paid version won’t access iphone photos. It just shuts down. So I grabbed the free version again. It forces me to do this rating before I can continue to use it. So this is my review. I love PencilSketchPhotoCamera but again the paid version won’t work on iphone.

A good product, a tool with many easy to use features, simple interface. The advertisements, the ads, are to many, to often, kills the mood to continue on . .

The ads are a bit much but other than that it is a very easy to use app with options you don’t often see. They have lots of free options that make for a very creative app. I recommend it.

Love Love Love PencilSketchPhotoCamera now that paid the fee! Before that it was add after add. I respect the need to monetize one’s apps of course so I’m not mad at it. Otherwise this is a fab app for people who aren’t particularly artistically inclined as well as folks such as myself who want sketch references of photos for paintings. Totally worth it!

Cannot import pics from photos. Kind of makes PencilSketchPhotoCamera useless.

Wasted my $$

Updated: The latest iOS update 11.2.6 may have fixed the problem. Now able to import existing pics. Would have been nice for support to contact me and let me know it was an iOS issue. Communication is a wonderful thing!

Tries several of these type apps and most were so busy showing ads, etc that I could not even attempt to use PencilSketchPhotoCamera . PencilSketchPhotoCamera actually works and I have been able to enhance several photos.

I love PencilSketchPhotoCamera. There are so many stunning affects, and you can mess around with them if you don’t believe me. I would say get PencilSketchPhotoCamera to anyone that needs something to do, or anything else. The only small problem is that there are adds every few affects you try.

Great for backgrounds for story boards and ppt. Also with all the many filters there is virtually any effect that you desire. For artists, I use it to clean up my illustration work. Easy to upload a drawing and get the desired finish effect.

Seriously! Every button I press gives me an ad. It’s fair if they have some ads for the free version but wth every time I tap something.

Anyway, it’s a pretty good app for what it is. My only concern was that I got a pop up notification or whatever it’s called that stated (in the worst grammar I’ve ever seen, may I add) that I couldn’t use PencilSketchPhotoCamera unless I gave it a five star rating. BS alert: that notif didn’t do anything because here I am with three stars.

In general it can do what it says it can do but it’s not really that great.

I am an artist. I’m not very fast at my drawings but sometimes that said I need to finish my graphic design projects for work. It’s super awesome to be able to I have an app that can help me “sketch” quickly. I love all the different techniques as well. They help me to get the right feel for my projects.
