As time goes on this publication becomes more and more worthless.
Today’s edition which we pay more for because of all the black Friday inserts I come to find out that many inserts are not in my paper.
Very poor service !!!!!
YDR promises a re-delivery with inserts… I am not holding my breath if they do not come through, this is the end of our relationship !!!!

Virtually ever other media outlet in the world allows unlimited access to the publication except YDR & the York Dispatch ( same company). Yet these sites only allow minimal access to articles each month. Can’t imagine why these news outlets are struggling financially, not to mention the paltry extremely left-wing biased “reporting”
Can’t get to my account information anymore. Use to be able to do vacation stops or missed paper delivery.

Lies about how many articles are being read per month
I wanted to have access to local news during COVID, and virtual news was the most affordable option. But after a few months of using YorkDailyRecord, I’m fed up with it and consequently cancelling my subscription. YorkDailyRecord is set up like a Facebook timeline, where new articles are mixed in with old ones and click-bait ads made to look like news stories. Why am I paying $8.99/ month to wade through advertisements? It also feels like the same articles have been posted for months, which makes sense if they’re being updated but there is no clear notice saying as much. There is also a “you missed # stories- catch up” banner near the top that directs you to the new articles, and that’s the reason I’ve kept using YorkDailyRecord as long as I have. Not worth it to me anymore though- I’ll watch the news on TV instead.
Please add the ability for subscribers to comment on each article and to be able to view others’ comments.
And why do I have to see endless ads when I’m paying for full digital access?
I stay a subscriber for access to local news. However, every day I question my decision to support local “journalism” when you subject readers to your never ending leftist biased agenda. And then you wonder why newspapers are failing.
I’ve been using YorkDailyRecord for a couple years... and suddenly I am unable to access the full story....
I enjoy reading my local newspaper and this is a nice,easy to read edition. The obituary section,however, needs some work. It shows obits from weeks past and is not easy to get to the section where you can read each individual obituary. It also crashes often while in this section. If this gets fixed I will definitely be giving it 5 stars!

Great App providing effective ways to easily see current and important news.
I guess, being an old guy, I've finally escaped from paper and into tech. I get notices of leading stories as well as access to the news I need any time and anywhere. I don't have a bird and therefore no cage to line, so a paper newspaper provides little value and reduces the load in the recycle bin. I get the Sunday paper by subscription and that's enough for enjoying the comics and starting fireplace fires after another month or so. Ted's videos are a welcome relief from "if it bleeds, it leads" news - keep them coming.
Why cannot my wife and I get on line to read the newspaper? Some times we can but during the month we are blocked! Why is this as we pay for our hard copies each month but cannot read online???!
