Constant Bugs

StudybreakFocusTimer has glitches left and right and it’s annoying how I have to click on each date just to see how many hours I’ve clocked on historical days.

Notification system is terrible and breaks don’t start

When StudybreakFocusTimer works is great. However, most of the time StudybreakFocusTimer doesn’t notify me when the study time is over, and if it does then it often doesn’t actually start the designated break timer. Disappointing.

Also, I find the notifications very rude. For instance, I studied with StudybreakFocusTimer today and after about 4 hours i took a break and got a notification shaming me for having taken 20 minutes of break time during the day and that at this rate I’d be “on a break all day.” Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn the snide remarks off...

Great in theory

It didn’t really mess up much when I used StudybreakFocusTimer last year, but I just tried to use it and it gave my phone a glitch attack. It kept making the sounds like it does when I’m supposed to put down my phone and flashing the screen from black to StudybreakFocusTimer to black.
I had to restart my phone and luckily everything was okay after that.

Great Concept, but Flawed

I came across StudybreakFocusTimer and knew I needed to have it right away. It is exactly what I have been looking for since I started taking classes again, however after purchasing StudybreakFocusTimer I noticed some issues that are making the information inaccurate. The subject times are listed incorrectly. It lists a subject I didn’t even study and the wrong total study time on the other subject. The hours listing the subjects in the bar graph area are incorrect and do not correlate with the time. It also lists me as studying on days I didn’t list I would be able to study which throws off my all time averages. I emailed the developer and I am hoping for a response but don’t have much hope given that app hasn’t been updated in months.

Disappointed

I really like using this timer but have to keep redownloading it in order for it to work properly. There’s a glitch in it that every time I go to open it after using it for awhile and it closes on me. When I try to open it again, it opens to the main page then freezes and closes down on me.

Great at feature, not so great UI design

I love the idea of all the provided feature, when i tried to use it, there are a lot difficultly to use StudybreakFocusTimer . It can be UI design issue, or technical issue? I don’t know. But those issues are keeping me away from using StudybreakFocusTimer regularly.

Best app for tracking study time and staying off your phone

I downloaded StudybreakFocusTimer and upgraded to track my study time as I prepare for my CPA exams. I’ve been using it for about a month and a half and it really has helped me track my time and stay off my phone. Now that I am moving to a new subject, I wish there was the option to see study time by subjects. For example, somewhere that I could click “Chemistry” and it would show “8 hours 10 mins” and then click “Business” and it would show “20 hours 3 mins”. It would be helpful to see the separation by subjects rather than “total study time”

Minor tweaks

I like StudybreakFocusTimer , but I wish it would say “currently studying” or “currently on a break” above the time. StudybreakFocusTimer is slightly difficult to use because if I’m studying and pick up my phone at all, it struggles to sense if I put my phone down again. There should be a “click to start studying, or click to pause studying button”.

Love it 😊

I am a 6th grade student and it is very helpful to organise all my assignments etc. I wish that all the stuff came free, but that’s not how life works. You have to buy study + which sounds much cooler, but I don’t have it. I love this calendar app for school and would recommend it.

Good app overall

Great app but it’ll delete my consecutive periods of uninterrupted study.

Like the App, but...

Why is it freezing up? It’s been well over a half hour and I cannot use it. And yes, I’ve done the update.

Almost perfect

Doesn’t add up the hours of the week properly

Studying

StudybreakFocusTimer is great, it's helps me keep track of every subject that I review. I also don't over study, maintaining 2 to 4 hours daily. Before I would try to knock out a whole day and retain almost nothing. Also StudybreakFocusTimer lets you know when it's recommended to take a short break, and it gives you stats of how you study. The stats is good feedback and might help you reorganize how you study and have a more effective study plan and study session.

I love this app but

I wish it would go back 3 versions. I loved when it would tell me “currently studying” at the top and the old view it had with the book under. I bought the year version and wouldn’t mind any other add ons. I just wished it was a little more aesthetically pleasing and would fix the top and bottom bar like before.

Helps me focus and stop procrastinating! 🤓

I recently just downloaded StudybreakFocusTimer, just to see if it had actually worked. It did work! It helped me stay focused while doing my homework, and keeps me from getting distracted. I love how the option to break isn’t just randomly timed (for example: 5 mins), it actually gives you a good amount of time depending how long you’ve worked. For example, say you’ve only worked 1 min, and you want a break it won’t give you 5 mins it will give you only 30 seconds! However if you work at around 40 mins that it might give you a 5 mins break or longer. 10/10 recommend StudybreakFocusTimer!

Very Impressive!

This is an amazing app that was very well thought out by the creator/developer. I love that there are so many different statistics about my study routine that it helps analyze. StudybreakFocusTimer interface is crisp and aesthetically pleasing to look at and use. It has also really helped me be more cognizant of my distractions while studying. I have shared StudybreakFocusTimer with so many people, including a high school teacher so he can share it with his students. My only suggestions thus far would be to 1. make the subjects delete-friendly so I can only keep my needed subjects and 2. Make StudybreakFocusTimer synced across multiple devices. But again those are such small suggestions and don’t really change how much LOVE StudybreakFocusTimer!!! Thank you SO much for this wonderful creation!!!!

UPDATE: I just got a response from the developer. I can’t believe how quickly that came! He is absolutely correctly about the subjects being deletable in the latest version. I’m excited to hear that the second suggestion is being worked on! Thank you you for caring about what your patrons say and always working on improving your product!!

Change icon and font

functions are great but i think the gui could and icon could be better

Perfect App to Study With

I’ve only been using StudybreakFocusTimer for about a month and it’s been great! No issues! I bought the premium subscription and everything went great! Perfect for seeing how long you’ve studied!

Previous updates have caused issues

App worked perfectly up till a month or two ago now it constantly crashes and freezes.

Still really like StudybreakFocusTimer and find it quite helpful, hoping things can get sorted in the future.

Tutorial

It’s so helpful but I’m confused on how to use it Pluto a tutorial
