I would like to take some time and sit a moment to thank the Developer for such a great Lighting app that is so unique it makes you go WOW! For myself it works great in my area and protects my family and myself every minute of the Day. The Developer has put a great deal of time hard work in the Design of His software for you myself and our family. Coding the software I sure you will agree shows a great experience the Developer has on making us safe and I truly appreciate the many updates The Developer has done for us. I hope if you read this you will download LightningAlarm and give it a try! Will you be sorry? I don’t think so I think you will also like me and go WOW ! Technology is changing every day and every second of that day. So it’s time for me to move on as they say , and with that I want to Thank the Developer one more time for putting out such a great unique 5 Star Design app for you myself and our family to use. I truly truly Tip my Hat to the Developer and say Thank You!!

Almost everything works as advertised except the "add your location" part. I can't put my town in, because it isn't i the database, and even using my phone position, it has dropped my 15 miles away in a different state. the graphics and update rate look like exactly like what I was hoping for, but it can't warn me about lightning within 5 miles if it thinks I am 15 miles away from where I really am. Oh, and though it won't look up an actual address, it will let you put in a town name. Just the name. Type in "Milford" and there is a flag to delineate what country you are in, but not the state. those are a lot of Milfords to try...

I have been using this for over a year, but recently I am getting push notifications for 1000 I’m away and further I no longer just get notifications nearby, but for further distances away all the time.

LightningAlarm is quite useful, only problem, is distance is hard-set to KM and I am in America, so have no practice with the metric system. Would really be helpful if you could add a feature to toggle between km and miles. Also, it would be helpful to be able search for and add multiple locations to receive updates about. Home, work, schools, family’s locations- aren’t always in the same area the gps is guessing your at.

Love LightningAlarm, as a ham radio operator it is nice to know when there is lightning in the area so I can disconnect my antennas. Plus it is handy to know we're the static crashes are coming from.

I am unable to enter, or delete any location. The community names do not have a state location how am I supposed to pick the correct town when there are 10 with the same name and no state location there is no way to delete the town if you get it wrong.

Wow this is the best thing out their! It's really cool it updates every 10 seconds or five seconds for lightning but it's really cool especially if you want to see severe storms and lightning for free without paying the $20 for some other radar maybe a little better but just get this because it is really cool!

Notifies me the distance of lightening. Display of radar not cluttered so designated lightening location is easy to see. It has my location correct. It has been a great help in making decisions of when we need to get out of the swimming pool this summer.

I was going to go outside and play with my hole family and then my app told me lighting nearby and I said to my mom theres lightning near by then there was a big boom it was thunder that was a long was away then a flash so by LightningAlarm NOW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

My kids love checking to see where lightening is happening. They’re really getting into the weather around them. Also a *must have* if you spend time at the pool. Know when to get out & be safe!

Great weather app! Not only lets you see where the lighting is but also had a good radar as well! The reason I gave this 4 out of 5 stars is because everything is in KM and I wish there was a way to switch it to miles as well! Great app!

LightningAlarm is so amazing cause it’s has a lighting sound notification telling you there is lightning around or near you!!!

Use this constantly in NE Florida. Especially good on golf course as a safety indication of when to get off course. I use 20 miles which is the lateral striking distance for lightening. Most is my friends now use LightningAlarm and all rave about it

App won't let me put in my city. It seems to think I live in a mobile home facility! HOWEVER, the map does have me located correctly. Would like the option of miles. We don't deal in kilometers here in the US.

1. This is the United States. Change the default units for distance to miles.
2. Defining your default location is a Keats. What is wrong with using your phone location if the user selects that option or the closest NWS weather station.

As a safety coordinator at a oil refinery we always rely on you to clear confined space or to get down from metal structures and seek cover. The best app I have found for safety.

As a lifeguard, I use it to make sure we’re safe to stay open. Anytime lightning is within 15 miles I clear the pool!

I use this along with my school's lightning detector to help see if it is safe for the kids to play outside- I just wish there was an option to toggle between miles/ kilometers... (That's the only reason why it isn't 5 stars)

Like everything about LightningAlarm. I have used it while at the Gulf Coast, in the woods, at home and on the lake. Helps my kids appreciate and avoid the danger of lightening. Only negative-- lose the km. I'm in the US and only use miles.

Please allow user to set miles for alerts. I have to keep asking Siri to convert the km to miles for me 🤦‍♀️

App works extremely well. Living in Fl with tons of lightning app is super.
Only problem is not able to remove a location.

As golf coach for a local high school, I use it all the time when my players on on the course. Being in Florida, one never knows when a thunderstorm will pop up on the coast. Print on the screen is too small. However, Km cannot be changed into miles, which MOST every one used in the US. Also it is so difficult to pick your location, as it does not let you pick your exact location. Great , though for the golf course.

Great app for knowing when to run for cover while my son is playing baseball. Would like to see it in miles besides kilometers but can’t find a way to change it.
