If you want to experience the best air traffic control simulation on a mobile device, this is it. I’ve been playing this for a few years now, and I kinda stopped because it was hard to earn coins and unlock new gates to progress, but with the new update, it’s made it easier, so I’ve been playing a lot more.

Previously, the graphics were OKAY, the plane quality was OKAY, but with the new updates, we have better graphics, and more realistic aircraft. Coins are easier to earn, and unlocking gates to progress through the levels is much easier than before. The most recent updates overhauls the graphics for the airport and the interface. Now, you’ll have an easier way to get to the airport radar, approach radar, and timetable, all in one menu. Terminal cameras are also added, and now, traffic is a lot of congested, so make sure you’re watching your planes!

You probably will have to spend some money on coins to unlock more airports and airplanes, but it’s worth it, especially to support the developers here. After a long time on UnmatchedAirTrafficControl Store, they continued to make this game even better. The updates honestly surprised me, as I was expecting this game to be abandoned, but luckily that’s not the case! This game was already awesome, and it’s really exciting to see the developers still working on it and making it even better.

I have wasted hours and hours on this game. I love it. So I go in after a few months off and see it’s been completely rewritten and looks amazing. I was very excited, then I played it and realized I couldn’t play it anymore. I have everything unlocked and am very high levels on almost all airports. I haven’t spent a real dime on it so that shows how much I’ve played. By limiting the cameras the only way to play higher levels when things get crazy is the radar view which defeats the purpose of the nice new graphics. The tower view is useless because the tower junk is in the way. I would be happy to pay a fee for the game. I feel I have gotten enough use for it but to do a subscription service is stupid. Half the fun of the game are the planes and watching the ground crews etc. this is now not possible once you progress past the lower levels as there is too much going on fast to do anything but radar. It worked fine when you had an unobstructed camera from above the tower and some less extreme angles but $3.99 a week for the views we already had is pathetic. Sad but I guess it’s time to move on to world of airports and grind.

I really do love this, it’s amazing and there are certain times of the day where the activity of the airport is at a maximum and minimum, like a real airport. However I would really like to see some other planes, maybe some private jets too, such as the NetJets Cessna Citation XL or the island hopper airlines Cessna Caravan. Even the CRJ 200, 700, and 900 would be nice as they come into the airport I’m closest to all the time. I love the ATR72, maybe add the ATR42 as well, maybe the SAAB 340 or Beechcraft King 350 seeing as it is close in size to the Saab 340? More aircraft would definitely be nice, seeing as I’ve already unlocked every aircraft there is and it gets a bit boring seeing the same aircraft types over and over, especially on the regional airports where A330s and above and 757s and above aren’t allowed.

At night the runway lights are not visible when in reality, runway lights are visible from miles away. Also, when aircraft are just about to land, their landing lights are invisible. This may be a game play design causing the player who isn’t paying attention to send a departing plane unto the same runway, either way doesn’t reflect reality and should be corrected. Even with these flaws it’s still an awesome game and I would be more than willing to pay for more realistic airports. And if in the future you can make the planes maneuver in a more realistic way, that would be awesome as well.

This game is absolutely incredible! It is a near-perfect balance of arcade-realism in an ATC game that can be appreciated by both those serious about aviation or casual players! The recent updates on this game are all things I have thought about before. I really wish ATC games on PC could learn from this! The only thing I would like to see changed/added are more aircraft, specifically regional aircraft that are popular here in the US like the CRJ, and small tweaks to some callsigns, like Atlas Air's real life callsign as "Giant" or US Airways real life callsign as "Cactus"! I would love to see more airports added in the future too, but those are all small critiques for an amazing game! All the work that went into it is evident, and as such, it deserves the 5 star rating!!

The game is not bad but it really needs improvements. Recently I have had the sound go dead in the middle of playing the game. There appears no other way than starting the game over. Everyone is not rich so give more options to those not spending all their money. Make it easier to earn money to advance. The game can get boring if there is very little advance. Recently during play the game just crashes. I wish you would do a update quickly.

The update is nice but it seems every time you update the existing money I’ve earn disappears. Why and how can I get it back? I also wish you would include a couple of more cameras for the free users like before.

I have been playing this for years, as it has a unique and realistic twist to it in the world of aviation sims.

Just opened it up again yesterday and was blown away by the improvements that have been made since the last release - it seems every time they update this game, it is years ahead of the version prior.

One of my favorite traits of this game is that even looking at it on a tiny screen, once I am knee-deep in game play, I am completely immersed within its world. I cannot wait to see what it becomes in the future.

Not sure who thought it’s a great idea to take features that were already in the game, like cameras, and not make them available in paid subscription model only, but it was a bad idea that seems to be founded in greed. I truly enjoyed this game until I noticed that the many cameras are no longer free.

I understand that you want us to pay weekly for something we may spend an hour or 2 per month on, but couldn’t you have a flat prices for folks like me who don’t want a subscription for this game, but don’t mind paying a flat fee for ‘premium’ features?

I’m ready to delete this - World of Airports is way better at this rate.

Works flawlessly on an iPad through a hot-spotted iPhone WiFi connection (iOS 14.8.1) when direct WiFi isn’t available.

Two small bugs: fictional built-in airline, both freight and passenger, will load in despite best efforts to not include them. And the freight planes of said airline had a blank / white livery with no markings of any kind on planes.

Realistic weather effects, accurate buildings and dark tarmac (instead of the plain Google maps look) makes this simulation enjoyable again for many hours of play.

I bought VIP today and I was not happy what I got first the airport was one that I already has it’s just that it has snow and the snow is only for looks and second when you do multiplayer and it is somebody else’s planes then they are just plain white wich made me pretty upset because I never use plain white planes in any of these type of games please add more VIP airports that are not just a different version of the ones that you can just buy with in game money like some international airport like Chicago O’hare international airport because then it would add more to the multiplayer experience since all airports have 1 or 2 runways and most international airports have 4 please add some more features to VIP.

I’ve had this game for years to come now, and being a pilot myself I will say that this is very close to the real deal. The voice recognition is incredible for what I expected and every big update continues to amaze me. Only things I would like to change (Along with others I’ve seen) is being able to change difficulties so to speak; or traffic amounts.

Very good game. 9/10.

It’s very good and I’m really happy that they have emergencies now but I’m very disappointed when one plane is at the the taxiway and there’s no more gates open when there’s a thunderstorm so I have to wait and then another plane comes so now there’s one on the runway and then another plane comes so there’s a crash. I mean I can’t do anything about it because the one that has no gate won’t move so please do something about, otherwise it’s awesome, period.

My approach radar randomly disappears and I need to “leave game” and come back to get it to work again. This game is fun, but progression is really slow. The money seems to come in randomly throughout the level rather than per plane so it’s hard to predict. It also takes forever to earn enough to buy a gate and move on. I get they want you to pay in real cash, but it’s still too slow.

This is an awesome game. I love all the different planes and the fact that the runway lights work. But you know what I don’t love? The random app crashes I receive. It’s hard for me to progress in the game when I can’t even get past the first level. I don’t know what causes them or how I can fix them, but they get really annoying. If the dev could look into this, I would change my review to a 5 star (if possible)

Love this game I started playing it since day one and I’m still waiting for more updates please don’t forget this game is amazing I bloody recommend this game to anyone who is interested in aviation would if you guys add more real airports like Atlanta international airport, JFK, Los Angeles international airport those kind of airports would make the game more realistic but other than love the game

It is a good game, but there should be more taxiway options for airports like Springbrook. When I downloaded this game, there was helicopter service at brooksvalley instead of cargo. It is not in the game anymore and it was more interesting than having cargo planes for all airports. Please add more taxi options and add helicopters back

I played this game for years and I’m said to say that this game has become unplayable. To take away camera views and put them behind a pay wall that is completely unreasonable. It sadness me to say this as I use to live this game. For me it just went from a 5 stars to a 0 star if I could leave it. Loved this game for so long and waited for update as it was teased for such a long time. I hope you do well but I can no longer justify playing this game in its current play state.

This game has definitely gotten an upgrade with the new updates. However, the lack of real airports, especially US airports, is frustrating. I want to be an Atc at places such as KLAX or KJFK. If those were added that would make the game so much better. Also Add the q-400 and the jet-blue Ember.

I came back and noticed that the game was upgraded. I have always enjoyed playing but I must say the revamp and new features take the experience to a whole new level. Great work and awesome upgrade! Well played.

I FREAKING LOVE THIS GAME also I saw a glitch I used the mic to contact BKP1777 which was a AT72 aircraft I contacted it several times to do as commanded but it never responded so I used the little button I love it but I do hope you fix it thank you

The real airports that could be added is KBOS KJFK or even EGLL

And for liveries jetBlue a321neo, United 767 with winglets and finally British Airways 777

Since updating all of my money is gone, I had 60,000+, and all the gates are lucked again like I need to buy them when I already bought them before. I like this game but they NEED to add more airports more frequently, maybe KPHL. It would be cool to also see corporate jets and general aviation planes.

Love the game however open brand new design prove to be difficult and confusing. Took time to adjust but prefer old design which make it easier to see and easy format moving around.

Also, suggest remove Blue Sky Airlines as default.

It seems like a fun game just very difficult to get any money unrealistically to unlock the gates, planes and runways.

Coming into an update seems fun, but there are a few things to consider before playing further:

Pros: This game is addictive and keeps you playing for quite some time. Unlike before, terminal views are now a thing in all airports where the previous versions did not include it. Alongside that, there are emergency situations (engine/landing gear) in a realistic manner, although adding more would be nice. The realistic weather also makes this a breeze. Also, the planes are all realistic and detailed for the airport.

Cons: Why bother adding a subscription to add cameras around the airport? Previously, we had many views of the airport, especially near the runways and terminals, but this is now restricted. I know this is a money issue, but how is this even a thing. New users have a hard time going forward into the game when starting, since they have inexpensive aircraft (737) to deal with and they have to rely on expensive aircrafts to go through in a breeze. Aircraft options may be expansive but limited, would love to see the MD80 or the Embraer 175 at some point. Livery-wise, I would also love to see new airlines take the helm, especially with some noticeable ones absent. EVA Air doesn’t have their 777, Frontier Airlines/Sun County Airlines/VivaAerobus doesn’t appear at all, WestJet doesn’t have their 787, United doesn’t have their new livery look, Spirit Airlines doesn’t have their past livery’s, and the complaints can go on and on. New airports could also be prioritized too - add in JFK/IAH/LAX at some point.

Hopefully, this review would help a bunch of people thinking if this game is worth it.

They ruined this game so now I’d you want to see your airport you have pay.

The basis is great, it just wasn’t fully thought out.

I’ve been playing this game for maybe a week now and I truly love to play it but It gets anoyying seeing the messgae of “Unlock 6 Gates To Unlock The Next Airport” and then do that only to check and not have the next airport. You either need to remove that message entirely or actually make it do something. Another negative to the game is the x4 speed feature. It’s convenient to have but when you make the planes go slower than they would in real life (not including delays) it really doesn’t help much. I suggest adding different speed settings, a x5 speed, a x10 speed, and possibly even higher. One major thing to add is when you start the game you should be able to choose which runways will be used for what. Another thing that doesn’t quite ruin the game is that the vehicles that come to fill up the plane and bring cargo off literally fly through the terminal like Harry Potter, it’s just a small detail that doesn’t really effect the game but it would be nice to have. One positive about the game is that once you pass the first level money seems to begin actually flowing in and I’m not quite sure if this is correct but it seems as if more expensive planes give you more money. The game is fun to play but it needs some changes.

So far the game is loading up just only when on a WiFi. LTE is Crashing every time. The improvements are about the same as the last update. I am happy to see the ATR-72’s come to the Detailed Aircraft. I was just a little disappointed that the ANA A380 Airbus (Hawaii Edition) did not make it the update but I’ll keep that on my wishlist. The new realistic airports should be fun to play. I am disappointed that there is no Free AR and I actually wouldn't mind paying a 1 Time cost but I am not interested in paying monthly, so I’ll have to skip that option. I was looking forward to Narita or Hanada International for the realistic airports so I will keep those on my wishlist as well. The only thing that needs fixing is the Extremely LOUD Taxiway Jet Noise. Yea, the Taxi Way Jet Noise is SO LOUD it overpowers the audio when other pilots call in. I have to jump to the Control Tower and by then I missed the call and I have to scroll down the Flight Plan to see who called me. So that needs fixing. I would also like to have different Cabin Attendance’s voices instead of the same female voice from Australia. So a few fixes and a few more options and were back up to 5 Stars.

We should be able to pan around inside the aircraft instead of staring out the window or out the cockpit. We should also be able to see inside the aircraft from the outside... cockpits and passenger cabins, and can you make under the terminal NOT a dark black abyss. I would like to see catering, fueling, and the pushback go under the terminal realistically. Also can you make the emergencies not disappear into thin air after the emergency is finished, there has got to be some procedure after the emergency. Can you make the gates (jetways) more realistic. Inside the terminal can you make the people move around instead of sitting still. Things like people traveling to a gate, going to the bathroom, going to a plane that is about to depart. Also when a plane arrives there should be people pouring out from a gate inside of the terminal. Inside the terminal there should be understandable announcements regarding to the actual events in the game such as a plane about to leave the gate or this in barking at the gate. And finally can you make a first person view of any passenger boarding and exiting the plane. This game is a good game but if you add these things to this game, it would be a lot better than you think.
