After every completed course a Final Fantasy XV advertisement appears. Typically, the advertisement stays several seconds and then a small "X" appears to exit the ad and continue to use SuperStickmanGolf3 . That has not been the case with SuperStickmanGolf3. Every time the ad appears it stays until SuperStickmanGolf3 freezes or becomes unresponsive. This forces me to close SuperStickmanGolf3 and reopen. Advertisements don't bother me; closing and reopening SuperStickmanGolf3 does.

Seems like an easy fix. Wish it could have been different.

This game is what I call “punishware!”Playing the game is fun, up to the point where you have to watch ads every minute or so. If you’re playing a solo game, and decide to restart, you have to watch an ad. If you’re playing against someone, and decide to resign because you’re already losing so much you’ll never win, you have to watch an ad. You finish the daily race, and decide to play a game, you have to watch an ad. Sure, you can buy the game and remove the ads. But I like to try something before I buy it. And when it makes me as angry as this game with ads, I will never spend money on it. Nor will I ever buy any of the games that are pitched with the ads. So their marketing fails, which is too bad. This could have been such a great game!

SSG2 might be my most played app game of all time. It is fun, addictive, challenging, and packed with content. SSG3 retains some of these qualities but there is significantly less content unless you’re paying for premium. In addition to this, the more aggressive attempts to monetize the game (while I understand that they’re necessary) make collecting hats and costumes much less fun and make attempting difficult courses or challenges very frustrating.

Put simply, the best parts of this game are more of the same from SSG2, while the worst parts will frustrate me enough to discourage me from playing at all. Get SSG2 and think of this game as additional content in the event that you want more.

Don’t get me wrong, very fun game, the free-to-play system works quite well (you really get a full game for free, then if you love it enough you can pay a small one time fee to open up even more levels etc), totally recommend it.

But! The devs seem to have done a quick/half baked job with iPhone X screen resolution support. I’m sure it’s not easy to do right, but like many apps, they appear to have just stretched the screen. This means the golfer sometimes gets cut off, I can barely zoom in and out, etc. Anyway, would be happy to upgrade to 5 stars if this gets taken care of. Thanks!

My friend and I were playing a game (connected over Game Center), and he was able to play the last turn of the game multiple times by trying to get the score he needed to win, closing and uninstalling the game every time he didn’t make the score and repeating this cycle until he did get the score he needed. In a game, playing your turn should be binding, you can’t just try again until you succeed. Imagine playing Rock Paper Scissors and being able to change your choice after your opponent reveals your hand. Pretty hilarious right? Anyway maybe actions are only persisted locally until the turn is completed, idk, but I feel like individual shots should be recorded!!! Really fun game, by the way. Keep it up!

Great game but online gameplay needs to be fixed. There needs to be a penalty when people quit mid-round. Once you become a better player and start playing beginners online you can’t finish a round. If you’re up a few holes in a 9 hole match and someone quits you get absolutely nothing. No points, no money, no cards. I can’t tell you the last time I finished an online round. If $5-$10 was taken away each time someone quits you’d probably have less people that quit and online gameplay wouldn’t be a waste of my time.

All my Frinds got this game and so djd I. But every time I load in multiplayer races my friends would proceed to glue me to the front of their car and drive down the freeway until they got to Wyoming where they would cut off the front hold of their car with my on it and leave me there to walk 5.7 miles to the nearest gas station where I could get help. So kinda fun but don’t play with your friends.

This is a good free game but some complains that i have are some crashes the music sounds like if its from a flash game (muffled) and sometimes ads pop up and they break the music it made a bzzzzzzzzzrt sound on my phone and it almost damadged the speakers because of the ad but its gud

I used to play the second one and I haven’t played it in a couple years until now. It still feels like a nice and chill game to play when you just want to relax. The only thing I notice is the lack of online players compared to back then

It has been a great game that myself and my brother play ( one way we keep in touch) but all of a sudden when I press the “turn based” button to play it says “an error occurred while connecting to the
turn-based server.” So for many years it’s been a great game. Now I don’t know many they will fix it. I run the game on an 11” iPad Pro.

So glad to see the developers did something about the issues, and I guess the new free coins on a timer thing is to try to make up for the problems caused by the issues they just fixed. Hope the free coins are not just temporary. My friend and I have played this game for years and still play every day, taking turns online. We miss not being able to replay our own turns since that feature was taken away a long time ago, and we’re sorta getting tired of not having any new courses...but we still play...sometimes discovering new ways to make holes. If there’s not going to be an SSG4, then we wish there could still be some new courses.

Love the game but it stopped showing notifications on my iPhone months ago. Any ideas how to correct?

I have reset the notifications in the phone settings many times and have no issues with other apps. Thinking it must be an in-game bug.

Okay so I’ve been a devoted (noodle head) for quite sometime. Ever since “Stickman golf1”and my look how y’all have grown! All your developers deserve a raise! In fact,I’m putting y’all in for one as we speak! “Other guys”, either lead,follow,or get out the way! Cuz noodle cake is comin thru and they are second to none!!

Courses were fun to play through ghost flags, bucks, clean ball are all nice spices to a regular round and keep it interesting. Really wish multiplayer was more active, tried multiple times for a race but never a result. Daily race is fun although I’m pretty sure it’s bots considering I win every time.

Only real complaint would be to not put “free” on downloadable courses if you can’t play them without paying money

My Dad and I have played consistently since this was released. Very glad to see notifications fixed! We had resorted to also playing chess just so we could use the turn notifications to mean it was also our golf turns.

I agree with others here that I’d love to see more courses. Like, even a new one a year would be great—BUT I’m not ungrateful. This is a great game!

There is a hack or something people are using in race mode, where their golfer doesn't show up at all and when I'm the first onto to the cup, I somehow come in second and they get first.

This is seriously the most addictive game I've played this year! I only wish it would save my progress when I have to stop playing in the middle of a course, because when I open it again I'm back at the first hole 😕

I play his game everyday; so I’m a huge fan. I just have some suggestions for SSG4:

1. Add a random feature. When a match ends, ask if you’d like to play again. Then add an option for random match. When you select that, it will pick a random course and mode. It could be random without watching, or you can continue to press the randomizer until you find a combination you like.

2. Allow the player to undo their first two taps. There are lots of times I accidentally press it the second time, and I wish I could undo it.

3. When setting up the match, show the challenger’s name.

4. Keep adding more trophies to accrue when you release new courses.

5. There needs to be more randomization. Such as: rubber glove hat + no spins. Or beachball with no power ups, etc.

SSG3 is an addicting game with tons of creative mechanics such as spin and new powerups along with interesting and sometimes frustratingly difficult courses. Not only is singleplayer fun when you complete courses and unlock card packs to get new hats, trails, and golfers, but you also have race mode and turn based mode which are extremely fun to play with friends. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy spending a lot of time on games to get better.

My brother moved across the country. Even when we can’t talk, we always have two games going and varying amounts of Bux on the line. Glad some things have been fixed. Would love to see some new courses, and would love the ability to customize the rules for head to head matches. I’d like to pick a specific hat, power up, etc., that we both have to use the whole time.

Also, power ups but not mulligans is a mode I’d appreciate for multiplayer.

This is the best golf game I’ve ever played on iOS. The gold standard. Download it already.

The game is super fun, and easy to learn. The introduction of the spin mechanic makes controlling the ball even better. The game ups the difficulty at a good pace, introducing new things with each course. Even better is the downloadable courses you can get to continue the game.

The only con really is trying to collect all the skins, hats, & trails. This is where the money making part of the game is, so I can’t fault them that much. Just wish card packs wouldn’t give so many duplicates of things.

All in all, amazing game. You’ll have plenty of fun with it. I recommend buying the package to remove ads so you can truly get the full experience.

I love the game, so much that I bought premium. But the repeat of cards from packs is a bit excessive. I’m level 25 without using bux to level myself up, and I use them all on packs, and I’m still not even close to getting every hat/golfer. Again, I love the game, but it would be nice if you were guaranteed a new card for every pack, or give us a way to get more guaranteed new cards other than the once a week from the daily race.
