UNIT 1 Erfahrungen und Bewertung

Die alte App sagt mir, dass sie Ende Mai 2024 nicht mehr fortgeführt wird, daher bin ich sofort auf die neue App umgestiegen. Beim Verbinden des Helms mit UNIT1 soll ich mich registrieren aber egal was ich mache, es geht nicht weiter. Ohne Anmeldung ist UNIT1 aber unbrauchbar. Nicht sehr elegant gestalteter Übergang, ich hoffe hier tut sich zeitnah noch was.

Im letzten Jahr (2024) habe ich auf der Eurobike ein Smart Light und einen Remote-Schalter gekauft. Nach unzähligen Pairing-Versuchen mit UNIT1 und dem Remote-Schalter habe ich mittlerweile aufgegeben. Sehr schade auch um das viele Geld.

und keine App für die Apple Watch ... ☹️

Einstellung für den Helm 🪖 oder Smart Light wäre schön wenn man das via Widget oder auch auf der Apple Watch machen könnte.

Abgesehen zeigt der integrierte Store nur knapp 50% der Artikel die man über die UNIT 1 Homepage kaufen kann.

Schade, smart ist das nicht

This used to be a good app, with lots of color and display customization options. I updated the app and firmware today, to find the light display is suddenly very limited and has only 4 colors for the back panel. I bought this helmet 4 years ago, and paid a ridiculous $350 or more for it, now it is worse than when I bought it. WTH??

Ich habe einen Aura- und einen Faro-Helm. Beide sind auch in meinem Account angezeigt. UNIT1 zeigt aber nur den Faro. Wie kann man denn zwischen den Helmen wechseln? Ich finde UNIT1 einfach wenig intuitiv.

Die neue App ist überfällig gewesen, das Design ist modern und passt sich besser ans aktuelle Produktportfolio an. Einen einzigen großen Kritikpunkt habe ich aber, der mich traurig macht. Wieso kann für die Hidden Lights des FARO nicht mehr Gelb als Farbe verwendet werden? Ich hätte mir mehr Farben gewünscht, nicht weniger :(

Gute App und sehr schön designed. Funktionsweise und Umfang gut, aber leider nicht ausgereift. Versuche meine Nav Remotes mit dem Helm oder Lichtern zu koppeln, keine Chance. Habe zwei davon und es klappt einfach nicht.

The latest app from Unit 1 represents their best effort yet. Compared to the Faro and Torch apps, it boasts the most sophisticated user interface (UI) to date. All essential features are neatly displayed on the new dashboard. Additionally, it offers quick access to three customizable presets and easy toggling of the Crash Alert and Weather Monitoring. The app now also provides real-time battery status updates for U1 devices, and the animations add a polished touch.

Unfortunately, it still seems that toggling U1 devices on and off is not possible; at least, I couldn't see it when using it with Faro and a Smart Light, nor is remote control toggling available. Furthermore, there's still no color selection for the Smart Light, despite it being advertised. The color options for Faro remain limited, and the effects available are still quite restricted. There should be more options here, such as the ability to freely choose colors from a color wheel.

I'm hoping for future updates that will provide more options and new features. So far, it feels like the full potential hasn't been realized.

Ich Haber mit meinem iPhone 14 Pro kein Problem mit UNIT1.
Die Einrichtung der verschiedenen Komponenten ist teilweise etwas umständlich und nicht selbsterklärend, es funktioniert aber alles super.

Auch der Support ist gut, man muss am Ball bleiben aber es wird einem auch persönlich geholfen.
