Update: FortWorthGarbageRecycling consistently crashes when I select certain features such as the Recycling icon in the Wizard. Fairly useless if it’s going to crash. Up to date app version and iOS.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how useful I find FortWorthGarbageRecycling to be. A little surreal writing a review for a waste disposal app, but it is very informative and has a decent search function to determine how to dispose of your unwanted items. Not unlike this city’s disposal sites, which I also consider to be quite efficient. There have been several items that I wasn’t sure how to dispose of, however checking FortWorthGarbageRecycling each time it had an answer for me. I’d like to be able to give 5 stars on functionality alone, but I share the opinion of others here that FortWorthGarbageRecycling could use some UI development. Granted, I doubt the Waste Disposal department has a large budget for app Devs, but I thought well enough of FortWorthGarbageRecycling to provide this otherwise glowing review. Will be glad to upgrade my rating when a new and improved app is released. All in all, I’m grateful FortWorthGarbageRecycling exists.

We live in cul de sac I understand not as much room to turn around, but after they come thru everyone’s garbage tubs are in the middle of cul de sac. One day is was raining tubs on their sides, lids open rain in tubs, tubs sitting up lids open raining inside. Hard to dry them out. Be more careful in cul de sacs. That being said I luv the new app reminding of bulk pick up, and weekly pick up. Thank you.

This is a clean and simple app that provides garbage collection reminders, contact info, and other easy to find information. The UI is simple and easy to navigate without unnecessary embellishments. Kudos to FortWorthGarbageRecycling developers!

I didn’t know I needed FortWorthGarbageRecycling but it is a great resource. You get notifications and you can also look up how to dispose of uncommon items. It is not perfect but I know it will only get better with updates. Good job!

My days tend to get away from me. Sometimes I forget the things that I should remember. FortWorthGarbageRecycling has helped me on several occasions, especially on bulk pickup days.

I like FortWorthGarbageRecycling a lot, always reminds me when to put my trash out, or when it's bulk week. Always works well, you can even search for items to dispose and it will tell you how.

My contact with all of the city services is normally limited to solid waste and water/sewer. The notifications verifying or changing the pickups are enormously handy. Everyone needs FortWorthGarbageRecycling.

It is very easy to use and sends you reminders, if you signed up for it. If you ever have problems you can always call them on the phone.

I depend on FortWorthGarbageRecycling for bulk pick up schedules. I recommend all residents down load FortWorthGarbageRecycling so they are aware of when to set out their bulk pick up. It helps us prepare for disposing items no longer needed. Thanks Firt Worth for providing this invaluable information.

I am so thankful Fort Worth has FortWorthGarbageRecycling. It has made recycling simple. The search feature is excellent. Every single item that I have searched I have been able to find clear instructions on how to dispose of or recycle it. It includes images and addresses where items can be recycled if they can not go in the bin. I also appreciate the reminders to put out my bins and when bulk trash pick up is.

Every time I call these people are very eager and willing to help. Customer service is a thing of the past over the phone but not here. I am pleasantly surprised how these associates take their time and will answer all your questions. These guys rock (ladies to of course)..

I am a senior citizen with a sick husband so I am the one who puts the trash and recycle bins out. FortWorthGarbageRecycling saved me thus winter when due to the weather collection days were cancelled. I get notifications when to set my bins out, thank you for FortWorthGarbageRecycling!!!

Thank you for FortWorthGarbageRecycling. Love being reminded about big trash pickup day as well as reminders for regular pick up days. It probably helps you as well from so many office phone calls asking the same questions.

I like that it keeps me informed and helps me stay on track with what day I can recycle and what things.
It’s something we’re use to put out our garbage but to effectively recycle is something the whole world needs to be in on and contribute to appropriately.

The recycling wizard is useful but don’t rely on FortWorthGarbageRecycling for date changes for trash pickup. Day before Christmas a notification was sent saying pickup was Friday, but it was wrong and pickup was the normal date. Likely the ones who manage FortWorthGarbageRecycling don’t use it themselves.

The service or response time if there is a missed cart pick up is within 24 hours. I know that I have a dependable resource if there is a problem I need fixed. The rest of the city needs to climb on board! We could get a lot of things fixed through apps like this! High Five and great job!

I do find myself using FortWorthGarbageRecycling more than I thought I would. I love the easiness to navigate FortWorthGarbageRecycling . I would like there to be an option to report if someone throws their trash in my bin. (My neighbor like to throw away non recycling items into my recycle bin) now I find myself taking out just as the trash truck are coming thru.

It great having a tool like FortWorthGarbageRecycling that allows for alerts and the ability to contact various city departments. An alert I received this morning was a great example indicating city trash pick-up services had been temporarily suspended due to the weather conditions. Thank you for this helpful resource!

Weird to rate a garbage/recycle app but I find it much better and easier than to call a specific city number. It’s been really helpful specially for bulk item pick ups. Great job!!
