Very frequently fails to load new pages and crashes

I have no clue how DjVuReader has an average of over 4 stars. Anyone who uses DjVuReader for more than 5 minutes would not be able to put up with it. It constantly throws ads at you (even if you turn off cellular). It’s impossible to study with it because it keeps sending distracting ads to interrupt my study session. It’s also just buggy and not well made and really not worth the effort

… it stops being able to load pages of the document past whatever page I was on (give or take a few pages). Must be some issue about how the file is stored in memory when it’s open. Pretty basic failure & DjVuReader is useless

I downloaded DjVuReader trusting that the average of the reviews. Now I realize that I shouldn’t have done so. There are too many pop up advertisements in DjVuReader . I’m getting one every 3 minutes or so. Plus, the download option is bugged. It will keep downloading the same file repeatedly.

When you staying on page 15 seconds or more for reading. Program doesn’t show after that another pages. You should to reopen and watch promotional video. After every page reopen program and watching video.

I was able to load a DjVu file and view it. Now when I try again I only get the error ‘’ Failed to load page’’. I don’t know how to fix it. Nor I can’t find an information how to load more documents.

Shows a few pages of a document and then “page loading failed”. The only thing that doesn’t fail is the annoying ads.

I downloaded a huge document in djvu format. Once I scrolled past the 10th or so page, it says : “Page loading failed”, and there’s no way to recover from this error and start from the beginning again.

This is one of the most annoying pieces of software I've ever had to use. There is a special place in hell for developers who make adware like this. Someone please upload evince to DjVuReader store.

It would be better if it can open multiple pdf files at one in tab.

DjVuReader displays DjVu files fine, much better than any desktop program on the Mac, in fact. One problem is that the orientation lock doesn't seem to work properly. For this reason alone I am reluctant to pay for the pro version.

Decent UI, fast and responsive. If you need to read djvu files, this is DjVuReader to get.
