I find VSPEEDSpeedTest to be extremely inaccurate. From the multiple tests I’ve done & other apps I’ve compared, this one has been consistently inaccurate & so it works easy but isn’t so good. So I gave it two stars. It does what you need, but is not going to accurately tell you your speed. So it’s sub-par.
I gave 3 stars because VSPEEDSpeedTest . lacks testing comparisons to average data results. It can give you real time speed readings but does not compare them with the average results to give you a better idea of its performance. Thankyou.
Works well for what it does, pretty interface and it’s nice that results are recorded and descriptive.
What isn’t descriptive is the settings. “Optimize the amount of data”. What does that mean. I cannot, for the life of me, find ANY sort of description ANYWHERE. Not on VSPEEDSpeedTest , VSPEEDSpeedTest store, the official website, other websites, anywhere. Does that mean you’re sending less data? More data? Different data? What is the change being made by toggling that switch??? I’m incredibly irritated as is by my lack of decent internet. This is just adding onto it. Also the fact it takes like a full minute to “load” VSPEEDSpeedTest is annoying. It loads the interface but you can’t touch anything forever until the ad loads. And no, it’s not my phone that’s the issue there. Ugh.
Program speed test is quick but there could be more informative information provided in results like what does your speed numbers mean with respects to actual usage; for example what do the result numbers mean? Slow, fast, average for basic work, music/ video playing and downloading. Uninterrupted movie streaming requires a speed range of this or program downloading required a minimum speed of that as far as time to complete.
This is more useful information for average users than “your speed is 4.0 mb/sec.
And I notice that COMCAST here starts to maintaining speed after I starts check more often!

I like VSPEEDSpeedTest but there are a lot of ads on the bottom of the page and i always pressing it and it gets me mad

App works well. The ping test shows a long time. I wish I could know why. Otherwise I recommend it. Use it to monitor my internet.

VSPEEDSpeedTest checks download, upload, and ping. It takes about 30 seconds to a minute to check the speed. Very useful.
