Downloaded app on my 6s to add the widget. Just says Loading.....no results.
Downloaded the free version. Found out I have to pay 99 cents to add it to the widget menu. Doesn’t say that in the description. Not worth my dollar.
It seems the adjusted pressure for altitude is work in reverse from what would be expected on my iPhone 7. You would expect sea level adjusted pressure to be a higher number than station pressure, but it’s lower.
Haven’t found way to acces the sea level reading after paying.
Essentially I really like SimpleBarometer. Very accurate and excellent readability. Needs two minor and one major improvement. Minor: It would be nice if you could set the elevation and change the number of places after the decimal point. Major: it needs to be able to show graphically the pressure trend.
Well made app. Clean user interface. One suggestion, I purchased the notification upgrade expecting to be able to see my current elevation at a glance as well as atmospheric pressure. Add elevation as well to notification widget please to make this an excellent app!
With one setting in SimpleBarometer , it automatically adjusts for my current elevation. This yields barometric pressure corrected to sea level. My iPhone 6+ reading is in close agreement with nearby NOAA reporting stations. That level of accuracy makes it a useful tool!
Feature requests: pressure trend, history graph.
I like SimpleBarometer. It looks nice, but it's a little inaccurate. The reading I keep getting over the last couple of days is quite a bit lower than all of the stations and sensors around me. I even used the adjustment option. Still reads low. Maybe it's the phone itself(iPhone 6).
This plain and truly simple app is pure. Simple to use, unambiguous in display. Good option of units.
Compared to airport reporting (while at the airport) I have not seen any appreciable difference, which is a function of the iPhone’s sensor.
I like to have just plain sensor apps, and this is just right. Simple with the appropriate different units. The elevation reset button gives a datum reference setting for some actual usability within a relative time/location period. Thanks for making this available.
Great 5 Star app! But what is the chance of you adding a Dark Mode to the Widget? For me it’s hard to read in the Light Mode you now have set up. But really a great app I use everyday! Thanks for putting it out there.
This is an excellent utility to compare other barometric pressure sensors but it would be nice if you could manually set the altitude (if needed). The GPS altitude is close but I have had some trouble with it locking onto my exact location which is very important when comparing barometers. Otherwise it's a great utility.
The interface is gorgeous and clean. SimpleBarometer 's barometer reading matched up perfectly with two other high-end barometers I have in my home. This is a must-have for weather freaks. It goes where you go!
The Adjusted reading properly aligns with my weather station's barometer. Like others, I see where the actual sensor data can change when my phone is sitting on a flat surface in a closed room. However, that behavior is not limited to just SimpleBarometer, as there are other Barometer apps being released now for the iPhone 6 that show the same thing. It instead appears to be a function of the barometer sensor itself.

SimpleBarometer does exactly what it claims to do. The only feature I wish it had graphing. Otherwise, it is very accurate.
This barometer is an excellent tool for me. As an old man, post-polio, I am very aware of changes in the pressure. However, this confirms it is pressure that affects me and not muscular problems. The accuracy is superb. It is good to see the sea level adjusted pressure.
