AmmoSeek - Ammo Search Engine Reviews

I had been using a few different ammunition search engines in the web to find the absolute cheapest prices for the cartilages I shoot, but since I found that this app has an app I pretty much the only source I use. I have since found the other features very useful to hone your searches. I have since started reloading and appreciate the reloading supplies section as well. I have also used the magazine search feature too.

This is a great app. Finding all my ammo and magazines- yes, please! It’s great as a resource for a HUGE category. AmmoSeek has one downfall. The search engine. I can type in Wilson Combat 47 Dc (a very specific item) and I get nothing. No results. There isn’t a good reason AmmoSeek can’t find exactly what I put in, given that specific make and model number. I would put it to the makers that I would happily give it 5 Stars were it not for this big, fat omission. Improve the search, and you’ll have a first rate app. I’m very glad the creators came up with AmmoSeek; it really simplifies the search for these products. Keep up the good work; I’m certain that improvement is coming.

Been using this app for probably the last year and a half. It has made it easy to find not only the cheapest place to buy, but also helps me reconfirm that the regular place that I shop do indeed offer the best deals. The only suggestion that I could make is a way to filter out reloaded ammo, I personally don’t trust most reloads ( when I’m shopping for 300 blackout I have to surf through a lot of reloads). Thank for a great product

When I first load AmmoSeek , it shows me the regular front page that lets me select ammo, mags, reloading, etc, but after a moment pops up the loading screen, then takes a couple seconds to load and get back to the front page.

Also, when adding specifics to an ammo search (brass case, keywords, etc), the selections should auto-save when I go back a page, rather than requiring me to press Save.

Other than that, though, AmmoSeek is great. Quick, easy, useful!

I’ve been using this app for a few years now, I’ve never been disappointed. I gave it a 5 star rating because it does everything it’s supposed to do, but there’s always room for improvements. I personally think AmmoSeek is good enough to warrant another update with perhaps some new features and options. I’ve upgraded from the free app, I’d like to see options now that I didn’t get in the free app but there are none.

I really like AmmoSeek a lot. It does a great job of helping find the lowest cost ammo, but there is one major issue: Shipping. Some vendors charge $7.95 for shipping and some charge $58. You really can’t make a valid comparison until you go to the vendor website and actually put together an order and determine your shipping cost. While AmmoSeek will give you some idea of shipping costs with a little icon, you really need to look further to make sure you’re getting the best deal. Really the only good AmmoSeek does is to tell you which webpages to visit to do further research and find the real cost.

Been using this for almost a year. Every time I need good projectiles less expensive than the retail stores, I come here. Lots of excellent choices, and when you factor in 9.5% sales tax locally, shipping costs are cheap. Not to mention the fact that you can usually buy twice as many as you can in the retail store for half again as much. This has been my new “Go To,” source for most of my reloading needs.

Although I would like to see something for 9x25mm Dillon, I know they are specialty rounds but if there’s a popular barrel conversion out there I think you would be able to find it. I searched google to find it last time. Step it up guys lol. Good app overall

AmmoSeek does what it says. It finds the best deals around on guns and ammo. It is a major time saver when it comes to shopping for the gear I want. I've recommended AmmoSeek to all of my friends that own or wish to own a gun. The ability to customize exactly what I'm looking for, or to find something with the same characteristics is great. Once you use it, you won't want to shop without it.

I have had this for a while now and I much prefer it to the web page form. It is much easier to read and very easy to use. I have used it many times and I really don’t buy much for reloading without looking at it first. It is easy to use and you are prefer much ways going to get the best price that is available every time.

I’ve saved literally thousands of dollars buy quickly and efficiently finding the best deals..

I would however like to see some sort of notification that lets you know when a particular Ammo meets a certain price point I’m looking for

I've bought all my ammo via AmmoSeek in the last few months. I'd like to see more features long term but I've been very happy with the results and all the $ it's put in my pocket. Google is horrible for this type of shopping and then probably share your info with Soros every time you search for Ammo.

I use ammo seek quite often to make sure local stores and vendors at gun shows aren't trying bend me over. I don’t mind paying a little more locally or at a gun show but when they are 5 to 10 cents per round higher, I will wait the time it take to have it shipped to me from a seller found on ammo seek. Great app! Love it.

I have shared AmmoSeek with so many people. I should get a commission on the sales. Everyone I have shared AmmoSeek with is very happy with it.
Sitting around with a group of guys shopping for ammo was a fun filled experience.
The money we spent on ammo as a group added up to a huge amount. Shooting all that ammo at the range with everyone, Priceless!

Easy to use and navigate on mobile. It has basically all the important categories you’d consider when shopping for ammo. If it listed the actual shipping price then it would be perfect, but at least it ranks vendors from 1-5 on shipping costs, along with showing which vendors offer free shipping.
