Audiobooks HD: Unlimited Books Reviews

For the first free books I’d give a five. They are first rate quality. Also it’s a very pretty app. After that too many negatives. It will frequently stop and when you start again it has backed up two to three minutes. There is no skip forward button, only back, so you either re listen to that section again or fuss with the slider which is very coarse. There is also no speed adjustment. I like to bump the sped up 10 or 20% to save time. Also when AudiobooksHD quits it forgets where you were - even what book you were on! You have to drill through to find your place if you didn’t bookmark it. Finally the sales pitch for the book of the day is just annoying and there seems to be no way to turn it off. If a paid version would remove that and the other issues were fixed it would be worth a few bucks. As it is I’ll slog through the quality books I already downloaded then remove it.

This is, by far, the best audiobook app that I have ever found. Here's how it works: there are tons of popular books for free. The first book in the series is free, but if you want to listen to the second or third book, you can pay a few dollars. I don't expect that I will run out of free books any time soon, but the books are so well read that I don't mind paying for subsequent books. They only downside is that AudiobooksHD doesn't store your location very well; it tends to reset to the beginning on the book every morning. I usually just write down the chapter that I was starting to help fix this bug.

AudiobooksHD is great, great prices, great audio quality, and very popular books for free and new ones added often!!! Its not easy building a seamless app, it has its annoyances for sure, but the trick for me is so save my spot often and all the problems are easily dismissed. Thank you creators, and anyone who works to keep this running, I really appreciate all the hard work you do. I love fiction, so I love AudiobooksHD, but if you’re looking for self help books or anything other than fiction you should probably skip this one. It’s definitely a fiction lovers dream!!!

Loved my first book. They have an awesome free selection! However, I bought a book and downloaded a few more and suddenly the second half of my books were randomly some other book! Most annoying especially for the one I paid for! Whats worse, I emailed the company about the issue and received no response...I really just want to know what happens in my book! Especially because I'm on the second book in the series and I paid for the book and don't want to pay for another copy... I'm so disappointed. I'd had such high hopes for AudiobooksHD and was enjoying it so much.

A few of the books I read were great, but the last 3 or 4 I tried to read didn’t not have the whole book it would get to a certain chapter and still have 10 chapters remaining but every single chapter was the same one over and over agin, I was looking to purchase some of the other books in a series that I read but now I’m not sure it that’s a good idea because I don’t know if I’m going to get the whole book or if it’s going to replay the same chapter over and over again for half of the book, please fix this issue ASAP

I finished my first book on AudiobooksHD and it was something I’d been looking for and y’all had it without delays. There were a few pauses but I just had to start again. No worse than any other app. Keep up the good work. I’d like to see more Bernard Cornwell books from the Richard Sharpe series.

This this the best audiobook app ever, one thing I wish I could do is request books, I cannot afford to pay for AudiobooksHD so I wish the request feature could be free, over all it is amazing. I love it so much.

This is a fantastic app. I use it every day as I have a 40+ minute drive to work and from work. I've gone through two books since the beginning of December 2014, and eagerly look forward to the next several books.

I just got AudiobooksHD I really like that it gives you free books and the price is great but I would love if you guys would add a speed rate button I literally just got AudiobooksHD a few minutes ago so I don’t know if I missed it or something thanks:)

I love that the books have a free book of the day plus a lot of other books, not being able to speed up the reading speaker is very annoying to me and really wish I could change that.

Love AudiobooksHD . Why is it that only the first book in a series is free? Is it possible to make all the book free for everyone to listen to like the library.

Just finished my third book on here. Paid books start at the second book so I have a chance to listen and gauge weather I like the series or not! Exactly what I wanted.

AudiobooksHD skips 2 to 4 chapters at a time and inserts chapters from random books not related to but you’re listening to you lose a lot of the momentum of the story as well as the context of what’s happening look for a different app to get complete stories in the order of the chapters were written

Great choices for the first free books (5 stars). However, sequels are expensive. (1 star). App is easy to work(5 stars). The book that your currently listening to starts over if you exit out for any length of time, lucky for the bookmarks tho(3 stars).

While I love the fact that AudiobooksHD has so many great audiobooks I am dissatisfied with it's function.

I had set it to "download only while on wi-fi". Apparently this setting does not work because it was downloading on my data and used near 6GB. I will now have to pay overage charges due to this.

Not a happy consumer.

I would really love AudiobooksHD if it had more of a selection but I do really like AudiobooksHD a whole lot. Great books and you get the first in the series free.

Unfortunately some of the books have missing chapters... and no response to my inquiries

I love the authors that are available. Quite a few that I've been meaning to read so AudiobooksHD is perfect for me!

this has all of my favorite books from today. It is awesome.

The selection is fantastic and there are lots of free titles but it keeps stalling and freezing.
