This app cost $6.99. It has the function of a free app, and it does it poorly. It doesn’t save your projects in a library, so you can’t go back and edit them later. When you save them, the dimensions on the screen are VASTLY different from how they appeared while working on them. It’s fiddly, where you might be tapping to give a pop of color to a word, but then it accidentally opens the whole text and you lose all the words you’ve tapped. When scrolling through fonts, there’s no bar or check mark to show which one you currently have selected, so good luck finding out which one you have in your image when you’re trying to march it. The gradient options are limited, you can’t make your own. I could go on and on. This is a rip off. Do NOT pay money for this app. Use a free app.

The app is okay itself. I paid for the pro version some time ago and it stated it was supposed mine to be forever. After I used the pro version I uninstalled it by mistake. Once I noticed I was never able to use the pro again. Its like they reinvented the pro version and the people who used it previously doesn’t show in the AppStore. It shows “get now” vs the download cloud, like I’ve never had it installed before. I paid for nothing. Now the price is 6.99. It would be nice if they let you sign in to “keep track” of such things. Possibly that defeats their purpose.

Pros: There’s a lot of really nice backgrounds and plenty of font styles to play with. You can easily increase or decrease font size, letter and/or line spacing. There’s more than enough features to make pretty quote art and it’s pretty easy to figure out.

Cons: There’s no “start new” or “start over” button. There’s no way to easily adjust font/color of individual words or phrases. There’s also no way to save the works you’ve created unless you either save the images yourself or save to a file, but you can’t open up your history or a library of your own past works.

Overall, for someone who is trying to really get creative, the app is seriously lacking some necessary tools and functionality. For someone who just wants to make some quick and pretty quote art, there’s more than enough options to satisfy your craving. Depends on what you want really.
