RARELY do I leave an app a bad review, let alone because of the amount of advertisements in the game, but the amount of ads in this game was bad enough that I thought it deserved a bad review. Not only does it show ads between every single playing of the game which is a minor inconvenience, it also pauses IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME to show you ads, and then when you ultimately get back into the game, you usually die immediately, as you have just been thrown into a random spot in the game. Additionally, within a minute of downloading this game it was already crashing. My advice? Don’t waste your time.

I used to play this game all the time about two years ago and thought I'd redownload it for some nostalgic fun. however, once I did I was very upset by the changes made to this game. whenever I had to take my finger off the screen to jump, I would run into a wall as soon as I put my finger back on the green bar. this game changed from something I could pass the time playing enjoyably to something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. very disappointed to say the least.

This game is super finicky and the controls are complete trash - even for a mobile game! If that isn't frustrating enough, when you open TheLine you're completely BOMBARDED with ads. I understand that free apps with display the occasional ad, but the amount of ads you get with this game is ungodly.

It's frustrating, it's not fun to play, and the ads are out of control. There are better games out there, so if you're looking for a fun, yet challenging mobile game, look elsewhere.

Game has constant ads that just flood the game and crashes after every few deaths. But once you start to play the game and start to get good at it, it is kind of fun. After sinking your teeth into the game for a long time, it gets repetitive and doesn’t have a very consistent feel and replay ability.

I usually would just give a good review so the creator gets more money… but not for this. This game literally makes you so frustrated because u hit the walls for no reason and then u try again and the same thing happens only once in a while it works, so u keep trying until u try 200 times and then u delete TheLine and never download again. DO NOT, PLEASE DO NOT WAIST UR TIME ON THIS!!!

Truthfully, I hate the ads that pop up. They are SO annoying! I also dislike that you have to stay in that green bar. When I take my finger off by mistake, I wind up losing. ☹️ So I guess if your a pro at this game (I'm not a pro at all 😂) it would be a lot easier.

This game would be fun except it crashes and then when you come back it shows an ad after you’ve already started and pauses the game and when you resume it’s impossible to survive. Less ads would make all Ketchapp games so much better.

This game could be a lot of fun, other than the fact that it is extremely challenging and kinda glitchy. There were many times that I was playing and I would die, even though I wasn't actually touching the walls. Could be a lot better. Leaving as 2 stars right now.

game has many ads that make you die when you are trying to play. it is so annoying how the ads just pop up out of no where. when I go to jump over the river, it glitches and makes me die saying that I didn't pick up my finger! WHICH I DID! I am going to delete this game because it doesn't work right. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

This game would be a lot better if it didn't keep lagging/jerking right at the most important times! And it seems like it makes you wait too long before starting another round. I want to start instantly after I mess up! Lol

If your playing an ad will most likely pop up, and it will most likely glitch you through a wall, and give you an instant game over. It used to not be like this, but the “updated TheLine ”.

It used to be very relaxing and when you died, it would start flashing. I would play it on long plane rides but now I don’t even want TheLine on my phone. A year ago I would have given it 5 stars, but not today.

Once upon a time, this game was a really time sink. I played it on the subway and when waiting in line (get it?), but now it’s completely riddled with ads and advertising banners. The pacing of trying again and again is ruined by a sponsored game or advertisement. Total shame.

After few games it doesn’t jump when lifting up the finger.

Few years later update: still same problem. When lifting my finger from the screen the dot doesn’t jump when I’m going for the high score.

I like it but it has too much adds For example I like it but when I was in the middle of playing I died bc of an add😕😕😕 pls take the adds away!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Every time I go on the game I play one game, AND THEN AN AD POPS UP in the middle of my play and it doesn’t give me the option to exit out of it even if I click the ad. It gets very annoying and messed up the experience. Disappointed because I really live the game itself

Invasive ads prevented me from giving this game a try. I understand that free games have ads, but if I have to close out of a pop up ad for another Ketchapp game BEFORE I've even had a chance to play the one I downloaded, I'm not giving your company a chance. Uninstalled immediately.

It is so fun when I get a high score but when It lags it doesn't please me

I honestly hate this game. When you get in you are stampeded by ads, and some things you have to get to with the ball are absolutely impossible to get to in time. Not to mention the jump feature that doesn't work at all. Disappointed.
