Only download this if you want to pay for an annual subscription! And if you do download it immediately set up it up to back up the photos to your device/iCloud as it doesn’t do that by default (if you want to turn it off after fine but this should absolutely be the default setting). I lost 2 months worth of my sons newborn photos when my phone had an issue and had to be wiped. I had a back up of my phone but the photos within SelfieADay were lost. Then when I went to make a video of the selfies I discovered that there is no way to do that without the annual subscription (except during the 7 day trial). Get the better version of this (called Everyday). I wish you could give less than one star!! Like bad karma; I was still so emotional post having a baby when I lost those photos. I sat in my room and cried. Not that it brought them back.

When I first saw that there was an app called “Selfie-A-Day “ I laughed because I don’t need help taking a pic of myself everyday. Then I began to get curious... plus OF COURSE it had to be free.... right? ....... No. The second I opened SelfieADay I had charges up the ying for a subscription to take MY PHOTO EVERY DAY! And maybe they do something different. Maybe they have reminders and filters. But I do that on my phone. If it were free, I might check it out. But I still have PTSD from knowing that I downloaded an app called Selfie a day.

Please don’t bother me with an obnoxious pop-up that prompt me to upgrade to your premium subscription. I know you have to make money, but please don’t do it every time. I’ve also noticed that the time it takes to load SelfieADay when you open it up depends on how well your Internet connection is, which can be annoying if you have bad connection, so I have to turn on airplane mode just to open SelfieADay in a timely manner.

Cool app, however it’s dum they make u pay its rly not worth the cost. U can’t have more than one album with out paying 5 dollars a month, that little extra thing costs 5 bucks a month. That’s 60 bucks a year. And they make u think that getting the pro version is so worth it but rly the only thing u get is the ability to have two albums. But other than that it’s a cool app.

It is a truly good app but the thing that won’t get my review to 5 stars is that you have to pay to save you videos. What I also don’t like is that you have to upload you video to some social media platform (Instagram, Twitter, etc.) Like I use 1SE (one second everyday) to create videos that are 1 second long everyday. And they don’t make you pay to save your video. But what I do like about SelfieADay is that you get achievements in it like I got one for taking 25 selfies 😂. Also, how you can take multiple selfies in one day. But please do something about this like make something else a pro feature like

I have been using this apps for months on my iPhone 8 and love it. I have always wanted to do something like this and SelfieADay ’s simplicity made it possible. However, I just got the iPhone 12 mini and, while the pictures did come over, the timelapse now zooms in a lot more than necessary. This also makes it harder to take the pictures.

I’ve been using SelfieADay for about 8 months and I really like it. It is simple to use, but has many features to make it helpful. I would like to see a feature where I could toggle the date onto the photos when I am reviewing photos. That would be helpful for me to better find benchmark days. Keep up the good work!

As the title says I’m a generally pleased user of selfie-a-day, but with my upgrade from iPhone 10 to iPhone 11 Pro has come with some discomfort.

First off, the selfie camera angle has shifted dramatically (i guess due to the physical camera upgrade on the new iPhone) and now the picture/face position is off considerably compared to my previous selfies on the iphone 10 vs. iPhone 11.

Second, the notification from SelfieADay comes at random times during the day and not my previously set notification time at 8:40am and thus my selfies have become a little bit more sporadic. I assume this is because SelfieADay has added a lot more “pro” functions on the paid side of SelfieADay and has broken compatibility (since there’s no longer an option to set a specific notification timeon the free version)

Still love and support selfie-a-day but there are some discomforts.

I would give SelfieADay 5 stars if there was a way to change the alignment of photos uploaded. Also, if you could just drag and drop uploaded photos in the order you want them in, SelfieADay be completely perfect. It’s not worth the subscription, especially if you can’t align the pictures.

This is one of the best apps i have ever downloaded and no not saying this because im a robot or sum but i feel SelfieADay is extremely easy to use and i love the ghost thing where it shows you what your photo from the last day looked like so you can line it up better and once you’ve taken your photo you can click on the screen and see your photo from the previous day to see how it matches plus my parents wont let me have a new phone so in stuck with the iphone 6 and this is the only easy to use app i can download overall i see no cons in this apo great work and updates

SelfieADay provides stream progress after providing enough self a day pictures to finish off the year with what you look like before and then after. Kind of freaking awesome! Amazing app.

A week and a half more to hit a full year! App is easy to use. I wish it had better head guides, as it’s not easy to align yourself each time without a tripod, but the tools they have work well enough.

PRO TIP: if possible, make sure the lighting is consistent!! A lot of my photos are taken at different times of day, and it’s almost hard to watch, because the light flashing. I’ll have to pay to upgrade, export the photos, and edit them so they’re all similar. I’ve also noticed it looks better with a consistent plain background, rather than different ones each day.

An auto-fix for lighting/saturation/etc could be an interesting app feature idea.

Great app overall. Some things I would like to see added in the future:

- reordering of photos, especially important for imported photos
- ability to resize and adjust imported photos
- option to add the date taken to each picture so that when you make a video, you know when the picture was taken

I’ve recently downloaded SelfieADay and seems great so far. The free version of SelfieADay is much better than I expected, but if u want additional features like privacy, importing, watermark removing and etc, the paid version is a must.
The paid version comes at a VERY reasonable price and memories are priceless!

Free or paid this is app is great!

I’ve been using SelfieADay for over a year while finishing up chemotherapy and documenting my hair coming back- it’s fantastic. Works great and a fun way to see the passage of time.
I do wish that I could upload some selfies that I took before getting SelfieADay to integrate them into the animation but that’s not available (at least in the free version) at this time.

This is a great app to use when documenting your growth/change through any period in time. It’s useful for seeing how you change in a spawn of a year, two years, or even more! I personally don’t update it every day, just when I remember. So far it has worked beautifully! You don’t have to pay for the basics, and so far I haven’t felt the need to pay :) all in all, this is a wonderful app!

SelfieADay works exactly as you’d expect, and even the free version is solid and useful — the IAP unlocks some nice-to-have features, but SelfieADay ’s utility is not compromised in the free release. It’s also worth noting that SelfieADay doesn’t barrage free users with adds or nag them to upgrade.

The developer is amazingly responsive to requests for bug-fixes and even open to conversations about feature requests for future versions.

If you’re looking for a selfie-a-day app, this should be the end of your journey.

I’ve been using SelfieADay for about one year now. I took photos every day for about a month when I first got SelfieADay . Then, I took a break, which I regretted, because once I started taking photos again of the outside and with friends, it looked amazing. I’m going to continue and hopefully see my growth over the next few years. Selfie-A-Day is an awesome thing to share with friends and I can’t be more glad that I downloaded it!

I had another photo a Day app that changed from free to an absurd subscription rate of something like $30/month. I guess they wanted less users. SelfieADay does it all even better. Multiple streams, ghostface aligning, convert to video, reminder notifications. It’s a simple concept, thanks for creating this.

I’d like to have it so there’s less clicks required to get to the photo taking. When I open the notification for a daily pic, I’d like it to go straight to that album’s photo taker, rather than open SelfieADay , select the album, then select take photo.

It makes you subscribe for $2.99 a month JUST to save the video of your selfies into your camera, you cannot do anything good on this without subscribing to pay money each month I found a better app and I am deleting SelfieADay DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU DON’T WANT TO PAY MONTHLY OR YEARLY and what if someone does not/ is not allowed to have social media, there would be NO WAY to watch the video so DO NOT GET SelfieADay

SelfieADay requires you to pay $25/year to not just save your finished time lapse, but to even view it. Sure, you can scroll through the photos all day. But if you want to watch it at 1,2, or 3x speed, that will be $25. I don’t mind paying for something, it just bothers me that it doesn’t say “In-app Purchases” under the “Get” button. Don’t let me take 20 photos before you tell me I need to pay money to VIEW the video I was trying to make in the first place.. that’s all.

I like SelfieADay. Had it on my iPad and app updated and lost all old pictures which really sucked. Started new on phone. Don’t know how long I’ll have before an update causes me to lose again. Hopefully problem was fixed

GREAT improvement after SelfieADay redesign. Move the check and the trash can after the picture further apart though. Maybe different corners of the screen on the bottom. They’re aesthetically pleasing as it stands but I’m afraid I’ll delete the perfect photo of my fly outfit 😂

i’ve had SelfieADay for only a couple days but it is amazing. it sends me reminders for when i need to take a selfie and i can only imagine how cool the final product is going to be. i highly recommend.
