i donโt recall ever downloading VPNProxy and initially. so iโm paranoid about it. it seemed new then and i us d a weeks free trial, but i donโt know who the developers are, what jurisdiction they operate out, both legally and practically, what their real aim is, how truly secure their service is, whether they fight against large scale govt surveillnce or are a decoy service feeding off the concept to actually socially engineer their targets into thrusting all of their data through this possibly dceiftful source..
iโm not saying thatโs true, not , ore info is needed. the website was not informative and i fear even legitimate vpn comments nn cations may still be weak if they only use pptp... or even l2tp..
better than nothing i suppose, unless they are a sham.. but atm i will try them.
1 last thing... i donโt like how the TOS says they reserve the right to install other software, programs, etc to monitor for potential illegal use of their service or other tos violations.... not that they track our internet traffic via their servers and service tunnels and connections, but an implied spyware instLlTion secret to the user, bundled with the product to monitor the deviceโs programs and activity. for that reason i will not be using this long...
