After paying I still don’t have any true caller id. And yes I have the app configured to allow calls. Pretty much all I am paying for is to look up numbers that call me manually. Not what I need. I tried another app and at least it would show who was calling even when the screen is locked. As far as I can tell all the $3.99 a month does is block ads. Even a number that I know is suspected spam it’s not even listed, this number has called several times in the last year. I looked up this number online and it’s been listed as a severe high risk. I am definitely not paying even more money to get a “premium search” for that number or any other ones.

This app does nothing. You as the app user do all the work. This app only shows you how to block numbers from your phone. After communicating this frustration with customer support they told me this app doesn’t actually stop spam calls. I didn’t receive a crazy amount of spam calls before downloading the app and I received zero spam texts. So I figured there was no need to keep an app that isn’t doing anything for me. So I deleted the app. What’s crazy now is that I am receiving at least 25 spam calls a day and about 10 spam texts a day. Seems suspicious, no? I haven’t been able to prove this app has something to do with this madness yet, but I will. For your sanity, DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!

The subscription is for vague phone monitoring. You are told there are changes with your listing but not told told who changes your listing or what changed with your listing. Poor reverse search functioning app as I hardly get a name to my number I look up. This app will also require you to pay for extra credit to get answers to reverse searches -Even when you are paying a subscription. I’m pretty sure they use out contacts for their name and number database. I Wouldn’t recommend CallerSmart unless they pay you for correcting phone book entry’s and using your contacts.
