I’m sure they can’t control WHAT ads are shown. But I had not seen an ad til this morning and what do you know it’s a promiscuous “yoga” ad (I thought it was a virtual sex app because it was blatantly sexual) and I’m not a square I’m a drug addict in recovery. Funny thing is, it asked me to rate YouDevotion after the ad (no big deal) then asked me to support the developers to remove ads.

I felt like if I had an addiction to pornography or sex this would have absolutely been a temptation. Maybe it’s just how satan works but you can’t trust technology or anyone involved in it, it seems these days anyways.

I cannot tell you how many You Devotions I have purchased over the years--single devotionals, and bundles of devotionals. Therefore I have paid for multiple devotionals multiple times - still no complaint.
However, I wanted Days of Heaven on Earth so loaded the free version of this devotional. Anyone who has used the free version will agree that is has the most annoying and loud ads known to mankind.
NTL, after awhile and not even being able to go from devo day to day or calendar without seeing the super annoying Tiktok girl with huge lips, I paid 8.99 to remove the horrible ads, and in my mind, as a donation to a good cause.
But guess what - STILL ads!!
I deleted and re-installed - for awhile I didn't see any ads
But... an update and guess what. Yes! The ads are back!
Seriously?
If you are going to charge people $9 for access to public domain content that never changed and that you did not even write, the LEAST you can do is acknowledge their payment for NO ADS in your crappy updates!
Now what to do...

The most recent update has made YouDevotion more cumbersome to use. There isn’t an easy way to navigate between the books without having to go through several steps. Also, why can we no longer have the ability to copy text like we used to? Great collection of devotional books, but poor navigational aids to fully enjoy them.

Recently the speaker has began saying “to the power of” whenever —- is in the text? This is very annoying and has never been a past problem? Can you please address this issue ASAP? Please let me know your answer and any progress.

This problem continues in Morning and Evening?? For a while it quit but has begun again?

I so enjoy the morning and even prayers. However, if you are going to use voice to read the scripture and readings it is a huge mistake on your part to use a robot. So impersonal! You might as well not even offer that feature.

It was fine and great the way it was. It’s even taking the verse away before I can even read it all. I can’t click on it anymore to go to the picturesque background, it is just a white blank page. It’s like you’ve replaced the scripture with a bunch of spurgeon quotes. Please return it to the awesome way it was. All the quotes and things are up top for anyone to choose to click on to see. But the verse is not.

YouDevotion has been my favorite Bible based app. It takes you right from beginning your day with a beautifully written morning prayer. Then there are lessons to guide and grow your mindset I Jesus. And finally, there is an evening prayer to close out your day with. Everyday, each component is new and fresh and it feels like spiritual companion. I love how you can easily share various components with others. This is a blessing because God’s word is not just for you to covet. It is meant to be shared and to lift others up to a higher and better place. It is a perfect to to help fulfill part of that call to action God asks of us.

Love being able to read a devotional first time I open my phone in the AM; kinda feel like Jesus is with me for the day!

My mom had an old copy of Streams in the Desert which I used during my morning devotions when I was a teenager. It was so inspiring and remains so to this day. Thank you for bundling all these faith building classics!

Such a blessing to have these words of faith and encouragement available at my fingertips.
I have used many if these writings in print books and love the joy they bring.
To have these precious thoughts from the “old saints” is a gift beyond measure.
To be able to share daily blessings with others is a gift.
I love the About section in Settings that allows me to know the source of these beautiful devotions.

I wanted to thank the developers of YouDevotion. This has been a great source of rich spiritual growth and blessing to me personally. It is a great collection of classic devotional writings. Thank you so much for your labor of love and may God richly bless you.

I just can’t get enough of these short but compact devotional material. A great many of these devotionals address very present and relevant circumstances even though most of them were written decades ago. They are simple but yet impactful. But most of all, they magnify God Almighty and worship Jesus Christ.

You Devotionals are like a steak feast when your soul needs iron and verses of the day I liken to my very favorite fresh fruits, when you need bite-sized nourishment for the journey of the Christian life.
Time wisely invested is the key to a race won with a very well done from Jesus waiting for us at the finish line. ♥️love it

If you love and appreciate your time with Jesus, then this is YouDevotion I would suggest! My fave app for devotion, meditation, and quite time. The visuals, prayers, and the various categories and time of day reminders are detailed, and spot on. It's very interesting how consistently the prayers align with my thoughts and reflections during these times. But don't take my word for it, check it out and see for yourself! I've found that consistent use allows for my spirit to align with the Spirit of God so that the prayers in YouDevotion align with my heart's desires as I delve in and worship daily . FIVE STARS all the way!!!

I am so grateful to have found YouDevotion. It richly blesses me with a deep well of wisdom and inspiration from spiritual giants of the past whose words ring ever true and are so needed for today! A thousand thanks to those who edit this site and provide such encouraging daily prayers as well. A true treasure for these times!

Thank you for such a wonderful app. Being blind, I have not been able to read some of these classic devotionals. Now, using either the built-in VoiceOver screen reader or my braille display, I can read and think and meditate on what I read from these great devotional classics. Thank you for such a wonderful reading experience.

This is an amazing app. I absolutely love the many devotions!!! I’m not sure what changed but I wish that the daily verse, the daily quote, and Spurgeons Birthday, changes from one to another and they aren’t complete. If you click on them you get a blank screen. This change might have happened about a month ago:(

In July of 2020 just before my 69th birthday, I had a heart attack. Not long after this I began to have problems with depression even though I’ve been a Christian for over 45 years. Some days were really difficult to get through and I believe I had lost my way, my sense of purpose, my joy. My faith seemed like that smoldering wick I’d read about in scripture. Though praying was difficult I found the grace to persist. Recently I discovered this devotional and it has proven to be a great help in rekindling that faith I so desperately need.

My number one go to everyday devotional app!! This one Always seems to have the right message I need. At The times I need it most. I will be struggling in daily life. Controlling my emotions, feeling down about myself, lose my temper. Then the enemy starts his lies. Then I opened YouDevotion to find God’s words on that very situation I’m dealing with at that time. I truly feel the Lord speak to me... I love that YouDevotion in setting bar has a file with other daily devotions on many topics that also change daily. Most night I will read them all til I fall asleep. ❤️❤️ Oh and did I mention ITS TOTALLY FREE!!

How to say it but he keeps closing I hope you can do something to stop it
