⚠️!!! WARNING TO ANY BLACK FOLKS & PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT RACISM !!!⚠️

Pitu was harmless at first and has pretty cute filters. However, I recently discovered a distasteful black-face filter that turns you into a black woman... I was instantly disgusted and have receipts that I wish I could share. Now i’m aware that China has had multiple black-face incidents from black-face plays, to women on Chinese tik tok purposely making themselves dark skin and painting over it to transform from “ugly to beautiful,” but it’s sad to see you can’t even use an “innocent” filter app without encountering something undeniably racist. If they are to remove and/or deny that this has ever happened in the future, I still have the evidence. I just want to warn any black folks that may come across this filter app and find it cute... and no lie it is, but I refuse to support this nonsense. This isn’t about being “politically correct”🙄it’s about not being racist by making a joke of my physical appearance.

The over all is really good, the filters they have really own up to Asian beauty standards. When I was scrolling through their “gender” section of the filter I was disgusted to find that there was a stereotypical filter of a black woman with inhumane like facial features. The filter demonstrates blackface, a painfully racist.
I’d truly like to support Pitu if they’d change their ways, remove that sticker/filter, and make an apology.

What is the charge for Pitu? Shouldn’t they tell you whether it is monthly, yearly or a one time charge? There is a hidden charge and is expensive.
Also Pitu is not very user friendly. What happens to all the pictures that were taken with the edits? Why is there no tutorial to help you learn how to use it?

How do you cancel if you are not satisfied with Pitu??

They removed the ability for a Bluetooth remote to snap your picture if you’re using a ring light. App still awesome but I can’t take a family portrait with the remote while using Pitu anymore. Bummer!

I don’t want to appear as an “ugly American”: I’m not a monoglot, I’m 2nd generation (not brown so who’d guess?) and didn’t, wouldn’t ever vote for the grifter in the WH (I’m sorry about him, world)... but could you translate the in-app purchases from Chinese please? I use and enjoy this but I know I’m missing things.

I love Calla yet the Korean stumps me even when I go to Naver and get machine translations. I love globalization of food and apps so I’m not really complaining.

It’s a pretty face app but I think there’s a problem Adding a black womens face it’s not polite and it’s it’s all those transformers into ugly to beautiful trend isn’t very nice and need a fix that’s kinda bug to a beautiful face and don’t be rude or caring about rascim and it’s just inappropriate for doing that kinda smack and it’s not very nice to add another women’s face that’s black and be racist
Ike that China has a serve problem and it’s racist. It’s such a good app but try to be better next time in ur own personal.

Please add a mirror mode off option in camera setting. I want to my selfie to look like if it was taking by a regular camera. I don’t want to flip my selfie every time before posting. Also add photo grid please! Thank you!

I don’t want to appear as an American girl I’m 3rd generation and who would I’m not complaining because Pitu lets me be me so I’m thankful for who ever made Pitu thank you

My only complaint is I wish video recording didn’t have a limit. I don’t see why there needs to be a cap but it’s still fun to play with

Pitu is the best editor app I have! I use it around for editing my pictures but sometimes I play w/ faces you have & it’s funny. & it’s for kids too!

It works beautifully I am so I love with all the cuteness that comes with Pitu makes my photos appear a lot more fun and cute then it is originally 10/10 recommend this!

Hi I downloaded Pitu and it works but the cosplay part won't download show any cosplay for me to use. The camera won't download any fun filter for me either. Nothing is shown. Does it need wifi? Idk what's wrong

The nose shrinking tool is glitching and doesn't work. When I try to select my nose the whole screen turns white. Please fix it us big nose people rely on that function 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👃🏻👃🏻👃🏻👃🏻👃🏻

Such a awesome app! It is super great and you don’t have to pay for unnecessary things. I would 100% recommend it. I’ve been using Pitu for about a year and all my sisters use it as well. Super amazing!

I use Pitu on the regular along with a couple others. It has cute stickers, filters, & a brush tool which is cool. Lots of other features.

I would like to see more frames 💕 I use those often.

this app is the one app that doesn’t distort too many of my features, all while still making me look natural and actually pretty for once. It is a great editing app, and the makeup filters are awesome. 11/10 recommend.

Love the camera, I like it more than Snapchat camera. It has almost every tool I need to perfecting my photo. I wish that it has “preset” feature, I would pay to get that so I can save my settings.

It is so user friendly and the whole app itself gave me interest to edit photos just to give it that bit of an extra glam! Ever since I downloaded it, I've been so much more excited to take selfies and share them!

One day my auntie wanted me to take a picture with her, and i thought Pitu was really dumb. But she told me I should use Pitu, and so I got used to Pitu. Not only can you play around with filters you can play around with features! Thanks for inventing this game. It’s so useful and one of the best apps out there! 👌
