Fraud of bug

Purchased Genesis. Was charged $9.99.
Read through chapter 3. System erased chapters once I read through them and asked for more money. I hope this is a s/w bug and not fraud.
Great idea, doesn't work

This is a great concept and I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, when I click on a word, it doesn't show a translation, though it does read the word out loud. When I try to go beyond Genesis chapter 1, it shows that it can't connect to the app store for in-app purchase but my phone has no other issues connecting to the app store. The check boxes for sound on/off and translate on/off do not respond.

This would be great if the words were pronounced normally, like people actually speak. Instead, there's a substantial pause after each syllable in multi-syllable words, and sometimes even a pause in the middle of a syllable.
