Ads, ads, ads! Too many $&@&$ ads. Timer Ads on startup. Timer Ads to look at radar. It’s ridiculous. A lot of apps are doing this. It’s silly and Apple should ban it or give a choice of startup ads OR banner ads, not both.
Update: the forecasting is not accurate. The future radar is also way off. Windy, which is free of ads, is superior to this app. Even Accuweather is and all they have is banner ads. This would be worth paying for to get rid of ads if the weather currently or forecasted was more accurate. As it turns out, all they do is take data from NOAA and give it a fancy presentation. But with a ridiculous amount of ads. Who wants to open an app just to get the weather but have to wait 6-30 secs while a full screen ad plays? Who? Then if you click the radar, you’re subjected to yet another timed full screen ad. And for what? Inaccurate weather information? So glad I was able to find other weather apps that do pull this greedy money grab and that give you more reliable weather information.

It’s a good app. Very good. Awhile back I gave it a glowing review despite the few, short ads.
Today I opened this app and was immediately faced with a Lending Tree ad, which had no X to turn it off, and was taking too long, so I went to my other weather app. I still wanted to look at the “future” radar screen, but there was the same, overly long LT ad. This time I waited over 30 seconds but the ad stayed, so I touched the little arrow which I believed would take me to more of the ad. Instead, I got the screen as I had hoped to do, but as soon as I touched the radar button, the doggoned LT ad came on again!
I don’t mind sitting through one short ad if the app is a good one. With this app there is always an extra ad if you want to watch the radar. I don’t appreciate that, but the second ad was previously very short. To have to see the same long ad twice before you can watch the radar is unacceptable
Weather Mate, you have lost a supportive fan. You seem to have forgotten that you have more, excellent weather app competition out there to compel you to keep up with it, but, instead you are falling back.

Initially I rated this app with 4 Stars for being pretty accurate weather report and forecast; however, there is always a superimposed ad plus others. However, over time I noticed that the forecast information sometimes are not updated/delayed by a day or so and that happens usually around the weekends or holidays, so my rating dropped to a 3-Stars; now a 2-Stars for not only still getting the above delays etc and once in a while the reported weather information gets screwed up, looked to be mixed with other cities... If the the purpose of the app is not accurate and up to date then I can see this app being an average performer. Continue with more issue and yet no improvement, then I will give this app an 1-Star then just delete the app!
