Update: January 1st, 2018...it has now been almost 3 weeks since I reviewed about the "Server error (9) occurred. Please try again latter" message. I have re-downloaded the game several times and have tried to recover my account with every email under my and my name. I even tried doing it with FB. It did not work. As I have not heard back from the makers, I am officially putting this, what could have been, great game out of my mind.

Maybe in a couple of years I will come back and check it out.

BEWARE! If you transfer from one iPod, iPad, iPhone, etc. to a newer one, be prepared to start from scratch and loose all current data/progress.

Original review: I have had this game for nearly two years now. I have three floors, countless shops and so much money and diamonds. It’s really fun!

Or...at least it was until I switched to a newer iPad. I saved my game, deleted it from my old iPad, and have tried to restore it on the newer one. I keep getting a "Server error (9) occurred. Please try again latter" message. This has been going on for three days now.

There is no way I am going to start over from the beginning as it has taken me two years to get to where I am at. Please fix this or I will be forced to delete the game and forget about it. I really would not like to do that, but will have to if the error message is not fixed. Thanks.

I really love this game. It's so different and unique, fun and addictive. I give it 4 stars because I wish that you could make better use of placing the items. It seems like a lot of space is lost towards the entrance of your mall as you cannot place items there. The plants on the sides take away space too. The expansions aren't that big especially with all the space you already lose. But other that, I love the game. I love how you get lots of quests to earn diamonds. I only started playing today and I'm assuming diamonds are the currency that cost real money to buy if you use them foolishly. So, I'll take advantage of earning as many diamonds as I can, and be stubborn about using them.

This game has to be the most amazing time waster; I can play it hours on end!
It has really cute animations and truly the most adorable characters but of course, everything has its flaws and this game is not an exception.

First, I wish there was a storage area where you could store decorations that you weren't using for later rather than buying new ones. That would be a very good addition and I hope you guys consider it.

Also, I wish that floor tiles weren't items on their own and that other items like fountains, tables etc. could be placed UNTOP OF THEM. After a while, having to sell at least one floor tile to move shops and decor around gets really annoying!

I also wish that the amount of coins you could earn from shops was not limited and that stores either did not need to be upgraded or that the upgrades were instantaneous and did not take any time just like floor size upgrades.

I know that this is a long review but I hope the makers of this game read it because I think these changes are the difference between a fun game and a super fun game.

Overall I'd definitely recommend this game.

You should add the option to save the progress

I love this game but I’m on level 8 and can not follow friends or see the travel agent I remember it being their from the beginning of the game. I don’t know if it unlocks later or what can someone help

I'm really enjoying this game so far, but I have noticed one problem. When you reach your coin limit you are not able to click on a store and bring up the store menu. This can be a huge issue because you can't spend any of your coins upgrading the stores and it's possible for you to become stuck. So, as a piece of advice, don't reach your coin limit unless you have to and make sure to be in a store menu when you do.

I've tried looking for some kind of game dev contact information or a suggestion page both in HappyMallStory and on the dev's website to tell them this, but I found nothing. I'm hoping writing this here will get it noticed.

Also, as a tip for the dev's: always have a way for players to tell you about problems and give you suggestions outside of reviews. It keeps review pages from being cluttered with comments that could keep people from getting the game.

I absolutely love this game! I’ve played it a few times throughout my life but this time I’ve really kept it downloaded much longer than before. I’ve really been enjoying it but there was an update that removed the feature that allowed you to visit other malls and following friends. It took some time to get used to, and I don’t have many complaints about that. It’s still as fun as ever. I really enjoy decorating and renovating each floor. Good game to play when you’re bored. ♡

You should get this game right away it has a lot of experience with how to start a business and then it also makes you more comfortable about how you are going to start off with your business for example when you start the game your business dose not have much but as years pass by you get more popular and make more money which you can use to to upgrade you business and become even more popular it's all about experience with the game there is one more reason you should download that is because it's having fun and learning at the same time.

I love this game so far it is just AMAZING I think everybody should play it is just the BEST on Tuesday I'm going to tell my friends all about it because I'm pretty sure they will love it to I might even text some of them about it and I hope they will download it because I'll tell them all about it they will love it it is just THE BEST everyone would love it I think. It's the BEST game ever ever ever I really hope everyone that is reading this loves it.I just downloaded it to it is JUST AMAZING THE BEST AND EVEN MORE GOOD STUFF.I think my far far far far away family would love it even the family close to me would I think.I just can't wait to tell my friends about it on Tuesday.

This is a very fun game, the graphics are awesome. And unlike other games you are not required a certain item in order to build, or a certain object that refills your stamina bar that becomes harder to get as you level up. In that case, you'll either have to buy that item (with real money) or beg your friends to gift it to you. And that's just both annoying and boring.
This game is different, you have a certain amount of workers that can build or upgrade stores, only one worker per task. If you have 2 workers then you can build/upgrade 2 shops simultaneously. Once they are done you can continue building again.
In this game the only requirements for building are: money collected from your costumes, one free worker, and a certain amount of time that is taken by the worker to finish building. The amount of time and money needed increase as you level up, if you reach high levels, just go have lunch enjoy your time and you will find everything done.

I LOVE THIS GAME. when I was young child I would sit by the fireplace and play this game for hours it helped me through the rough patches in my life (AKA my parents divorce) but overall I came out a better person thanks to this wonderful game. I owe a lot of my happiness to this game and I strongly encourage and recommend it. PLEASE give it a chance.

I’ve known this game since I was young and I can also visit to other’s places but now in my new account,I can’t see the button to go visit other’s place and I can’t connect my account to facebook or on my iCloud. Help meee!

Every couple years I come back to this. It gets boring when you get to a certain point— stores taking a certain amt of time to build and coins taking a while to collect, but overall very fun simulator.

This game is so addicting. I'm 19 and my little cousin had it and convinced me to get it and I can't put it down haha. Definitely good for all ages but one thing really bugs me. The items that are specifically for certain shops should always be effective in my opinion. Like the coffee should always work on the café, and the blouse at the female boutique. I hate when I spend my money on a specific item for that shop and it isn't effective but other than that this game rules and I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a new addicting game.
