Chwazi Finger Chooser Reviews

I’ve been using this for a while, and it’s been great. However, it doesn’t work anymore. Whenever I put my fingers on the screen, the light doesn’t show up. It doesn’t recognize anything. I have already tried deleting and reinstalling multiple times. I tried to contact app support, but it’s all in Spanish. 😩 I just need assistance please.

I used to like ChwaziFingerChooser and used it often to select first player for boardgames. However, it’s not random! At least not anymore. Whoever I point my phone at—that’s the first player. We tried testing it multiple times after realizing that over several months my husband was always being selected as the first player by ChwaziFingerChooser .
I’m uninstalling this as it no longer works.

I have Essential Tremor, which is a neurological condition that cause my hands to shake uncontrollably. When I use ChwaziFingerChooser, so long as my finger is one of those resting on the screen, a result never occurs. I’ve figured out the reason is that all fingers must be *completely* still. This seems a bit unnecessary. Considering there are up to 10 million people in the US with this same condition, I can’t be the only one who has tried to use ChwaziFingerChooser and had the same problem. If the developer(s) could make it a bit less sensitive, you would make it accessible to this group of people as well as the millions more with other movement disorders.

Thank you for all of your hard work, this is a great idea. Don’t want to be a whiner here, just trying to help you make your app usable for more people like myself!

I see a bunch of reviews so figured it would work well but it just doesn’t ever pick a finger. Maybe it’s not compatible with iPhone 12?

Hoping someone can enlighten me as ChwaziFingerChooser seems like it should be better than other random pickers.

Out of nowhere ChwaziFingerChooser does not recognize any fingers. I've tried deleting and reinstalled many times. Changed the finger/group settings. It'll put a colored dot on the screen but that's it. Used to use this all the time I hope an update comes out that fixes this bug. On an iPhone 7+

I have a group of 6 people so we chose 2 groups but when the last person kept putting their finger on the screen the circles dissapeared

Well designed app, my only concern is why there is only a maximum of 5 fingers being allowed to touch the screen at once. This makes no sense especially if you’re doing the group option!

Only being able to put 5 fingers on the screen is very limiting, especially when trying to make even groups. At least 6 should be allowed, but would be awesome if you could get more.

Can't open app via Voice - it has no idea how to understand the word "Chwazi", even if you repeat back what it says when you force it to sound the word

I read some of the reviews talking about the finger lints, and some issues. I haven’t had either of those problems. Downloaded and immediately tested with 10 fingers without a problem for both finger choices and team assignments (groups) both worked without issue! Plan to use this for game nights for a very long time!

I use Chwazi every time I want to make an important decision and it always makes the correct choice. I would buy ChwaziFingerChooser for 10 bucks.

I'm quite glad ChwaziFingerChooser just got updated for 64 bit processors, meaning that we can keep using it in the future! Yay, and thanks!

I love ChwaziFingerChooser and it quit working a well or so ago. Please fix it. 😞

This has become a staple amongst every board gamer I meet. It it the preferred way to pick first player and/or teams amongst everyone I game with. Whenever I encounter someone that doesn’t know about it, they try it and immediately download it.

I use this to help settle disputes between my young kids. It only do they think it’s really fun, but, for some inexplicable reason, they completely accept the results almost every time without complaint. Thank you, Chwazi, for bringing peace to my home.

This is one app that I use almost every single time I play boardgames. Super clean interface, works great. I was getting worried that it was going to stop working on the next version of iOS, but the developer finally updated it! Thank you so much!

If I could give this update 20 stars I would. Thank you Cesar! I was fearful that ChwaziFingerChooser would disappear into the nothingness that is the great sadness of 32 bit apps. Yes!!!!!!!!! Now if you could just go nudge the Scorekeeper XL guy or gal to do the same, all in the world would be perfect! psst: setup an optional donate add-on! Nearly all of us would!

Makes it super easy to pick first player. Every time I use it in front of a newbie they always immediately download it.
For people who don’t know, the max 5 fingers limitation is an iPhone limitation, not ChwaziFingerChooser ’s.
One request: have an option to put numbers in the circle for exact turn order.

At first I thought ChwaziFingerChooser doesn’t work, as others have reported in reviews. At least in my case, it was due to not reading the instructions correctly. I though the F setting (1F, 2F..) is the total number of fingers rather than number of fingers chosen. So if I was doing 3 fingers on 3F, obviously nothing was going to happen.

Every time I use Chwazi, my dad always wins! I think he might know the developers or something because this is ridiculous! Take his fingerprint out of your system!!! 🙏🙏🙏
