Constant Ad - takes too long to get rid

About a month ago - started getting ads constantly popping up (for Lynr, or something similar) - there does not seem to be much rhyme or reason as to when it happens- just randomly as you navigate the app!
The ad always and annoyingly redirects you to the App Store to download it!!
You have to suffer through these redirects multiple times before you can start reading any articles - only for it to randomly happen again, just as you thought you had it beat!!
I am not sure if it is related - but - again randomly- when reading an article- I will suddenly lose navigation arrows to get back to main subject / article list, thus I am unable to refresh the list of news items. My workaround tends to be to uninstall and reinstall the echo app!
Come on "the echo" - please fix - I am an ex-pat and need my Liverpool fix on a daily basis !
Buggy!

As a US fan of LFC, I want to like this local news source but the app is so buggy! Videos crash and articles jump around for no reason. Please fix!
App Still Shuts Down

Same old problem, app mysteriously closes far too often, today it closed three times in two minutes. Please fix it once and for all.
