Need to pay $9.99 weekly to read the bible
I love it, however I chose the wrong payment and can’t afford it so BibleScroll keeps trying to charge me. I did not get a verification through my email and it says unsubscribe at anytime but doesn’t let me do so .. I love BibleScroll and that it makes me put God first in my morning but I need to unsubscribe…..days latter I still can’t unsubscribe and falsely advertised app support
I don’t know what version of the Bible this is, but they won’t let me choose the King James version. So it’s a no for me. I’m immediately canceling my subscription.
I decided to cancel immediately. No options for cancellation Had to contact Apple. Waiting on what can be done.
I didn’t receive my reminder to keep or cancel subscription as promised and was charged I would like my money back please
I would have liked to be able to check out BibleScroll a little before subscribing, but there’s a very deceptive button that forces you to subscribe before you can see anything. And I guess I’m getting a 7 day free trial, but I don’t see any way to unsubscribe before the trial ends so I’m fairly certain I will be charged and have to fight to get paid back.
I feel like a better method would be to just charge outright for it, or give basic features for free and charge for upgrades. The pay structure just feels icky to me on this one.
As a developer myself I understand the time
And effort that goes into creating software. But, during install when prompted for a 7 day free trial prior to payment. I uninstalled BibleScroll . I will not support anyone profiting off the bible on a subscription tier. That’s not righteous or Christ like. Ideally it would be donation based. Morally it wouldn’t exceed a one time payment.
App blocking works well, but no bible translation is listed. I have no idea if this is actually the bible and I’m given no option to select a translation. I cannot trust that I’m reading the bible here. On signing up, you are presented with donation options right away…you are not presented with the trial before the donation options. I had high hopes for this. Since I am regrettably subscribed for a year, maybe BibleScroll will be improved.
There needs to be a way to share the daily readings with others. There are not enough features
BibleScroll works appropriately and does what it claims to do, but it forces you to use its own Bible. I wish there was a way for the developers to allow us to pick what Bible app we want to use instead. Unfortunately, this is pretty major for me, so I had to cancel my subscription. I don’t recall what Bible translation BibleScroll uses, but if you’re ok with sticking with it and need the discipline/motivation, BibleScroll may be a blessing to you.
I wish it had the option to have to read every time I want to open my app instead of just once a day
It doesn’t say what version of the Bible it is, no option to change the version. Glad it has no ads though.
I love that this forces me to do what I wish I did every day, and stops my mindless habit of scrolling through videos while I get ready for work.
Not sure how to stop subscription.
I have been trying to figure out a way to spend less time on my phone and more time with my Lord. This helps so much!
Create app that allows us to read the Bible first than first thing in the morning open our social media. I have not been on social media at all since I have gotten BibleScroll and I don’t even feel that I need them anymore.
Makes you more intentional about how you start your day. By putting the Lord first and reading his word!
This is a great app! It blocks the apps you choose that distract from the quiet time with God. Try it for free.
It’s definitely a great way to build the discipline to carve out time to spend reading Gods word. I’ve always struggled with the “busyness” of life. I’m a mother of 4 and over the years having a routine of reading the bible has been something I e struggled with. But BibleScroll helps me take a few mins every morning. I know that when I show up daily in my relationship with Jesus he shows up in a mighty way for me. I’ve been consistent in the word every day for 17 days now and already feel his presence in my day to day life more than before. Some days I click on 1 min, other days I click 5. And other days I continue reading because it sucks me in. So yes, BibleScroll is great for me. Thank you to the creator. You are serving God and his people in a way that makes him proud!
It definitely makes you think twice about what is important. The accountability is appreciated when alone priorities can get mismanaged sometimes. I am expecting this lockout to create a new habit for me.
