i’ve complained about this before and nothings been done about it except i was given an automated response saying the same stuff iive passed lvl 1000 and i can’t move on until i recruit a citizen to live in the couple house , it’s been months of playing this game checking everyday if theres a citizen with a blue ring around them meaning i can click them and they’ll move in i still haven’t found one and it’s unfortunate bc of the amount of money i’ve spent on this game and for it to say i need to recruit a citizen to get in a relationship to be able to progress in th game and never put a recruitable citizen on the map , very disappointing my account number is bJ3YdZmZK

Every time I try to create an account, it tells me that there’s an error connecting to the server and to restart the game. I have restarted the game and even restarted my device and it has not helped any. I can’t add friends nor will my purchases be saved because I do not have an account. If for some reason I have to uninstall the game and reinstall it, all of my purchases will be gone. I feel like I wasted money on this game because it could all be for nothing since I can’t login. I’ve tried to reach out to support and have not heard back.

Cute game! Time wise the earned currency doesn’t accommodate the increasing cost of upgrades. I didn’t want to purchase to remove ads because the ads gave currency but after a few days of upgrades the amount you get from the ads become insignificant (never increases with leveling). You’re encouraged to build everything in hopes to earn more currency to upgrade the homes for your citizens to start a family but those businesses and homes require upgrades. Upgrades require more utilities upgrades. Chose to focus on one business and home for a bit and still find myself spending a million in currency on just 3 upgrades…those upgrades only increased my earnings by a couple thousand coins…I spend less than 2 minutes in the game and then I’m left with nothing to do. With some balancing this game could be enjoyable again. Thank you for sharing your game.

I like how relaxing the game is, it’s cute and I love the design of the characters. There is just one little problem though. The game is a little slow paced for my liking, especially when it comes to upgrading buildings. I have to wait to get my cash up by having the people interact with the restaurant and the park, which takes a bit of time. And for the jobs, I only have two characters with jobs while the other two are unemployed. And I can’t get technology yet because I don’t have enough cash yet. I understand the developers need funds and resources to make more updates for the game. But, I just wish the game progress wasn’t so slow to continue playing where you have to depend on spending money. It’s a good game, but I just wish it wasn’t so slow. 🥲

The loading screens are terrible. They take 10 years and once I was trying to get some thing by watching a commercial account looping the commercial 10 times a X never appeared, and it said that I fully watched it and it kept repairing also there’s not really anything to customize your character with also, I feel like you should be able to customize the children once they’re fully grown

Love the game but I would love to be able to make some changes to the kids. Seems like there’s a bug when the kids are created. They come out with weird hair colors nothing like their parents or the girls come out with short hair and vise versa boys come out with long hair. Would like to be able to have customization control at least for the hair part. Everything else is looking good so far.

Totally love this game and have spent money on it (just for being impatient, which I don’t mind- lol) but I would love to have MORE MINI GAMES incorporated in the game for the future, maybe a mini game with the pet dragon, possibly increase zoo stamina to 100 than 60, and if possible being able to customize a mayor avatar but can still keep our avatar and avatar frame for rankings/seeing others. Also, looking forward to seeing if they do anything the babies.

I don’t try to compare games, but this game is so much better than that one. I usually don’t buy as free packs because it’ll only be for forced ads or they’ll make you “subscribe” to the game to get it, but I enjoy this game so much, so far, that I bought it pretty quickly. I stopped playing Rent Please a while ago because they don’t update nearly quick enough (I had been playing so long that I usually completed a new city within a couple days) and their events became horribly repetitive. Only so many times you can find puzzle pieces (I never actually completed a board because the pieces would be so hard to get without spending a bunch of money) and have a concert or whatever; it was fun the first couple times, but got boring quickly.
Is Happy Citizen perfect? No. In fact, I avoided downloading it for a while because of the weird ads that actually put me off the game. I’m thankful the actual game isn’t like the ads. I love that this game has more stuff to do. I love the zoo idea and that I can level up my citizens to make more money and get more experience. I love that we get little mini “events” to help them level up. Also, the citizens mean more because they have stories and “goals”. I also love that they can adopt babies. They don’t grow up, I don’t think, but it’s still nice that that’s an option. I enjoy that. I’m only on the first city. I’m not sure if there will be more in the future, but this city expanded, which lengthened gameplay by a good amount. I do wish we could see when public building upgrades will grant a new work slot. I wish in the zoo you got more chances when finding animals. I usually find the animals within the required time, but sometimes I don’t. I do like that, if you have leftover moves, you can find “treasures” in the remaining spots. I will say that upgrading does cost a lot, but I think that it’s countered by the fact that this game isn’t horribly stingy with money and gems. I admit, having the ad free experience does help with this. I’m not looking at twenty ads during gameplay, and can get the rewards when they come up.
I look forward to seeing how this game develops. However, I will say I’ve only seen one event, so far, and it’s basically a paid event. That’s not exactly fun, especially when the paid part happens so early on in the event. They also really need to let us expand offline time. 2 hours isn’t enough and it’s highly unlikely anyone is coming on every two hours to collect; it’s wasting in game money that you could be getting.

I really like this game, but I think there might be a glitch or something in my game. In the past, some of my citizens needed to be found on the map before they could live in the house. Currently, I am on level 1076 trying to recruit a second citizen to live in L. Villa T and they need to be found on the map amongst the tourists. I have looked at every single person coming through the map the past few days. I swear I have memorized all the current citizens and I don’t see any potential citizens amongst the tourists. I have tapped on each one and nothing. I don’t think the potential citizen is coming through the map. I keep coming back, but I can’t move on and build anything else until I recruit this citizen. Can you please help me somehow?? I want to play more and move on because it’s becoming less interesting without being able to expand.

Also, when will there be more main tasks for me to complete? Like what phase do I have to get to in order to get more?

Good game so far, I would like family trees. Not sure if your able to have more then one child, wish any citizen could marry, even the elders. Especially if you could adopt children, although the elder’s should be able to adopt as well. Not only the young couples. Wish there were pets. Also update: I hope citizens, in their apartments could have families too. Update: wish all homes could have families not pacific homes. Also wish we could customize our citizens/babies and children

I love this game and have been playing it for over a year now but I’ve run into the problem of not being able to find my person a partner because I’m being prompted to find one of the tourists to marry. Now I know how to find the tourist because they have a white circle underneath them but it’s been a month now and no matter how much I click, stalk, or hound over my visitors I can’t find the one my person can marry. This is so frustrating and I would really hate to delete this game just because of this issue.

Absolutely love this game and trying to build a nice city with good citizens. It’s just that it’s so difficult to get money and I feel like there’s an ad shoved in my face every 5 seconds, the ads being like 2 minutes long each too. — like to get more money (which is quite literally needed for gameplay), leveling up relationships faster, getting gems etc. it feels like the majority of the game is very extremely limited if you don’t pay actual money (not that cheap to remove ads either😭) and because of this it kind of tires / bores you out of it. Hopefully this makes sense, I do love this game though and the development of it, just wish there was fewer, shorter ads 😭🩷

I got this game the day on release because I predownloaded it. it's soo cute!! it's a lot like landlord sims, but I love their perks more. I bought their ad free forever promo & it just makes everything run so much more smoothly. I hate watching ads so thankfully there are no forced ones, only for rewards if you want it. I would definitely recommend playing. it's a cute little cozy game & you can choose their partners & grow affection! they will also get married & have babies soon so I'm excited. one thing i wish they would change is allowing unlimited speed ups.. i hate that it's limited. anyways, i hope they continue to make updates continuously because IM GOING TO KEEP PLAYING!!

I need to be able to fix the random generation of the babies my citizens have I set up Lolo with Lorand (which both have very light skin and lighter colored hair) I picked random generation for the baby and it was black with dark colored hair apart from the newspaper mentioning the birth of their child while they both look as if nothings wrong being hilarious I’d rather have the family look as if the mother of the child isn’t a home-wrecker 😓

So far super cute. I can’t wait for the baby related update. I would love to see what all the little toddler shenanigans will bring haha. I ended up getting the no ads package, and it made the game so much funnier regarding speed and rewards. I know I’ve at least spent $40 on this game already just to participate in the extra little things. So cute. I can’t wait to see what is to come!!

This is great. Not too overwhelming with the tasks, you’re free to update whatever you want, ads aren’t forced, and the characters and play mechanics are just great and very cute 🥰 definitely hits the right spot for a sim game.

Just one question, whats with the “limp kitten on the side of the road” thing that keeps popping up in the newspaper? 😭 like WHY? Is it important? Am I able to save it at some point? Do the citizens not like kittens? What’s happening 😩

I know you’re working hard but I was wondering if you could choose pets for citizens and recognized them as owners.

I was also wondering if citizens children’s could be assigned to jobs and if we can sent them to school. And I wonder if children’s could also have their own kids which contribute to lineage.

Because I know there is a limited amount of citizens, I think the citizens children’s will be recognized as a secondary group of citizens or simply “born into the city”.

I am obsessed with this game! It is INCREDIBLE. I just wish it would give me notifications. I know, right? Who wants notifications for a game?? ME!!!!! I want to know when everything is ready so I can continue playing as much as possible. I have already spend some money on here and I feel like it’s worth every penny. Impeccable game. Please never delete.

I’ve never played a game like this before! There is so much to do as the mayor of the town I love the concept. And the fact that there is more things being added makes the game even better! Even though there’s adds I feel like I’m not forced to watch them and I love the component of citizens having kids that grow up. A feature that I think would be cool is, if the city does get expanded, the kids of the citizens could end up coming back and living there. That would definitely feel more life like. Overall this game is great I enjoy everything!

Cute game, purchased the version where you don’t have to watch ads to obtain rewards which have made things much faster. For people complaining about how long it takes to earn money, just wait until you get further in the game and unlock things like the truck logistics mini game.
