I accepted a promotional offer and then was unknowingly charged a hefty subscription fee the following month. If you are going to charge a recurring fee, this should be acknowledged and agreed on from the get-go, not be a unexpected discovery when you look at your bank statement. A reputable company would let someone know if they were going to charge an ongoing subscription and also send frequent email reminders. I only received one email from the company ever, and it did not provide me with any information about an ongoing subscription. Also, there is no way to cancel your subscription on RiseGuide . You have to send an email, which is difficult to track if you want to be sure your subscription has been canceled.

I purchased one month to test this out and see what was up with the information. I completed the first month, was not impressed, shut down my account, stopped all reoccurring subscriptions and yet for the last three months I have been charged $50 from rise guide. I am getting really tired of having to fight my bank over this and I’ve started reverse charging the charges as of today. I want everything that is in my name taken out immediately. If I get another charge on my account, I will not only deal with it with my bank, but I will go to the authorities and send a lawsuit to you. Do not absolutely do not sign up for the service. You will regret it and it does absolutely nothing to help with your social media accounts.

I did a trial with their app. Honestly, I didn’t even use it. Then the trial expired after 2 months and they charged full rate without any notice. They nested this fact in the fine print of the T&C that I did not read (which they were quick to point out when I inquired - something that suggests they have done this to others and received similar inquiries). The subscription is outside of Apple’s view so it doesn’t appear within iOS subscriptions (in your profile). I asked for a refund the day I was billed and they played the T&C card. So buyer beware. RiseGuide and service is NOT worth $50 and their customer service is worth less.

If I could give negative stars I would. This entire app is useless—it’s all AI generated (meaning you could research for free and you’re just paying for common knowledge and you pay $50+ a month for it. Not to mention, there’s 0 communication after you sign up. Most expensive apps will give you a trial and then email you with a heads up like “your payment is about to be drafted” but no. I checked my bank and saw a fee under the name “LasVegasNV” and I panicked. Found out it was RiseGuide. By the way, if you want to delete your account, it doesn’t specify that they’ll stop charging you and if you want to TRULY cancel, you have to play email games. Their “refund” and return policy is nonexistent but they don’t really tell you that “upfront”, so you have to go read a diatribe written in 2pt font, single spaced to realize that once they take your money, you probably won’t get it back, even if you’re unsatisfied with the lazy product they offer which is titled in a way to bait and hook desperate business owners.
I emailed anyway, asking to be truly canceled and deleted with the request and hopes of getting my $50 back,but I’m not holding my breath. I just hope they cancel my account so I don’t have to cancel my debit card for a new number just to get away from these snake oil salesmen.

Is this it? I thought the material would have some degree of original content; I expected inspiring talks on video, interesting insight from experts. The content is actually quite poor, short, blatantly obvious, and altogether unremarkable! Something like reading advice from a teen magazine. I think it is much more useful to listen to the right TedTalks from serious contenders in this field.
Is there a way to get my money back, at least on the days I did not yet read. I’m really not interested in the rest of the month’s content. If possible, I would appreciate only being charged for the material I saw thus far. Please could you let me know if I can opt out from the rest?Thank you.

To make matters worse, I contacted them within one hour of the charge showing up on my account, and they flatly refused to refund a single cent. After pushing they offered 50%. No grace period. Nearly $150 down the drain. No “sorry for the confusion.” Just a cold, scripted rejection and a reminder that you should have read the terms.

Their entire setup is built around luring users in with vague promises of “expert insights” and “transformation journeys”, but it’s smoke and mirrors. The actual content is nothing revolutionary: recycled advice, generic prompts, and so-called “bite-sized routines” that feel more like a monetized Pinterest board than serious personal development.

The real business model here isn’t personal growth, it’s financial ambush. There’s nothing “inspiring” about charging people $50 a month with minimal disclosure and offering no recourse when they object.

Hello, I wanted to leave a review for those who look at them. Do not I repeat do not download RiseGuide. The biggest red flag is that they have a one click to charge straight to your card, it looks like you just clicking continue to get to the services. Instead it charges you for the extras. The other biggest point is that everything is AI, the people talking in the videos, and everything is written using AI. Most of the information I got was found online as well. No need to pay all the money for something you can find online. And when I went to customer support they basically just said that they are working on a shopping cart so that that doesn’t happen. And when I asked for a refund they made me fill out a form so that they can respond with sorry we don’t do refunds for that. 🚩🚩🚩

I’ve been going through the course for a week and find it to be a waste of time. If your expectation is to learn new ways to grasp concepts followed by exercises to reinforce that learning, you’re in for a massive disappointment. If your expectation is to hear common sense tidbits of knowledge that you’re probably already doing, told to you by an AI-generated character, then you’re at the right place. True example: “if you want to learn something new, spend an hour a day on it for 20 days with minimal distractions.” This was a ten min module. All of the modules so far have been exactly like this or worse, telling you history lessons of what psychologist did what study. This is not what I want. I thought I would get an app that provided drills and exercises to help me achieve advertised goals.

Well, since they’re asking me to rate after only two lessons, let me do so. First lesson lists 5 ways to make money on social media. Keep in mind this was marketed to business owners and not just social media influencers. One of the things on the list was to use AI to make content, which, as a tattoo artist, I find almost offensive, but in general just unethical as blanket advice. Nothing was explained in detail (though they promise to get to that later). First video I watched in the first lesson I could have sworn the girl speaking was AI generated. If they hadn’t also shown her sitting down later in the video I would have bet money on it. Second lesson was focused on Niche. No new information for me, but at the end it asks you to write a position statement defining your niche. After you type it in their AI coach is more like a cheerleader. I didn’t what I wrote in was strong seeing as how I feel this is an area where I need more assistance it just regurgitated what I said claiming it was great! Would be nice if I could submit it for review with a real person, but my guess is there isn’t one. The pricing on this is alright I guess, but I purchased the smallest package (4wks I think?) currently I’m expecting to have to pay more for any content of substance. If I find that is not the case I’ll come edit the review. (Who wants to bed I get a scripted AI response on this review too?)

RiseGuide is opening my eyes to a lot of the absent minded ways I’ve been glued to my phone, I know it’s hard to put the phone down, our world is desensitized by it, driving our cars whilst texting or scrolling , we sleep with our phones and hand reach away. Rise guide has given me an understanding of why that is and how to undo patterns that make checking out and waisting my life staring down at my phone normal. Lots of really good techniques and lessons in here.

The investment in RiseGuide is worth the purchase! It’s very resourceful and has great layout with a digestive read where you don’t feel like your reading just a lesson forever. They have interactive features like fact cards you tap to flip and videos that help describe in more detail on how to grow your social media and realistic goals to strive for. This is very user friendly, I found this spot through an ad on Instagram / Tiktok and thought I would look into it. I’m glad I did cause now I have the tools to learn to grow my audience and profit from it to get passive income to help get my husband and I out of debt. 10/10 for user friendly and being a resourceful app.

I feel the support and it is encouraging me to do better in this world, because I wanted to crawl in a hole and just throw my hands up but because I have kids, I have got to break this cycle. We are worth so much more and people love us too much to just disappear. So here we go in becoming more confident and expanding our brians to learn what we haven’t been able to do for far too long. Rise (meaning to elevate) lives up to its name and opened my mind and awareness to things that I hadn’t focused on such as getting a lot of followers and engagement because that was never my overall intention. Engagement YES, followers NO. I post things that I like and that I think may be of interest and benefit to others. That used to organically grow engagement, followers, and friend requests, but lately seemingly not as much. Facebook acknowledged me for being a great conversation, starter and posting great content but now crickets. My Posts seem to be getting pushed down in the feed for some reason. I post what I consider unfiltered truth, but some find out offensive and apparently, so does the algorithm.

I seek to grow and become better in life . I value intelligence and as I age , I value even more working out my brain and developing healthy habits to protect mental health. In my day one of RiseGuide I was reminded that there are multiple types of intelligence . All of them need to be cultivated. Aimless learning and intelligence are not valuable unless it is used with purpose , to help others, to make positive contributions in the time and places we are placed in this earth.

I have 10.1 K but my engagement is dropping because of how long I didn’t post for. I post only professional media because my page is a music artist account page. I needed suggestions on how to make it better and this course is very very helpful. I suggested to anybody who’s struggling on where to go right from here. If you’re lacking engagement or if you are trying to retain followers. :)

I like this because I feel like I’m doing this with someone else but it’s in my brain. So I don’t feel alone and it stimulates me where if I were alone thinking well it’s just not as motivating. Learning different ways to think and to go about how I think or put into practice is very helpful and stimulating. Thank you and hopefully I can continue and this could help me and many more.

Some of the content housed here, I already knew, but there was also a bunch of stuff that I did not not yet know. So there was definitely more than enough value for the price point!
