The best tracking tool I've found short of having friends at NASA...... NOT kidding at all.
Use the feature that sends a notice of each visible pass for your location. Then have an alarm alert you when the pass is within your choice of minutes or an hour. Extremely versatile and easy to use.
Very small memory footprint even when displaying a pass. Shows the speed of the ISS any time along with it's position around the Earth. Current Crew information with backgrounds and a lot more.
This must have taken an enormous amount of time to write the programming and to keep all information current.

I use ISSFinder almost daily. I really enjoy the map feature,and seeing where the ISS is in relation to the earth. The only thing that would be cooler would be for them to put in a live feature so you can look down on your area as it flies over. That would be so cool!! Oh yeah,sometimes ISSFinder isn’t exactly in sync with where you’re seeing the ISS in the sky. Sometimes it doesn’t show up at all. But that may be because NASA,or ???, may have made a last second change. Anyway,very good app.

I saw the ISS twice the first week I downloaded ISSFinder . I get the 5 minute alert on my Apple Watch and then head for the door with my 7 year old. It shows us where and when to look and it's pretty accurate. We thought we might miss it at first, but the ISS is really bright and easy to spot once you know when and where to look for it as it moves across the sky at 17,000 mph. I've even seen it in through the light pollution of downtown Washington DC. Great stuff!

This used to be one of my favorite apps. Worked great! Those other reviews are more than a year old. Since the last big update it still lets me know when there is going to be a pass. Info about the crew is good. The new map is horrible! I know it’s dark when I can see the ISS, but now the map is all black. What’s up with that?! I want to see the Earth. Sure it tells me speed in feet per second, but I’m not a rocket scientist! I need MPH. When I’m watching with a child, they want mph! When are you going to fix this??

ISSFinder is very well designed and very accurate, the menu looks professionally designed. The weather upgrade is only a dollar, which is not very expensive. The information about the crew members of the ISS is very detailed and interesting. I would highly recommend ISSFinder for anyone who wants to see the ISS, and learn more about it currently.

This is is simple & informative app but it does not detect time zones correctly. We live where we travel between two time zones frequently & even when detecting where we are correctly, it does not correctly decipher what time zone we are in, therefore it displays the viewing time as either an hour before or later than when it is in reality. I'd give ISSFinder more than 3 stars if this was corrected, I like everything else about it.

In Settings-General, tapping “Automatic Alarms” setting instantly crashes ISSFinder . It simply vanishes. The line of text “Automatic Alarms” in the settings dialog is grayed our, but it still shouldn’t crash ISSFinder to tap it.
I’m using iPhone X with iOS 13.3.1 and the latest version of ISS Finder.

You could condemn ISSFinder as being the height of silliness...
But then:
You would dismiss the astonishing pageant over our heads every night...
The amazing technical, political, and international success of the International Space Station...
The very personal joy of having a celestial event presented to you for your personal enjoyment...

I have ISSFinder for the sliver of joy it brings when it makes me look up and see our human miracle against the wonder of the cosmos. Proud and humbled at the same time is an emotion not often found embedded in a mere app. If you have both a brain and a heart, you might want to try this.

Exciting to actually spot space aircraft overhead & then to know there are people on board exploring space & making it all happen! Not only does it peak our interests of space exploration but following them on the map has been a great geography tool for my daughter. Fun & exciting!!

ISSFinder is really great because I can set my location and it shows what the viewing will be like when the ISS passes over. I can then set the alarm to be reminded when to head outside. It’s really fun, and I look at the stars while I’m at it. I really recommend it!

App is very accurate and informative, gives plenty of notice to look up and view space station passing overhead. I alert family members of the event and when in public places I start passing the word and point up, people are amazed!!!

We set our alarms for every visible pass you make and it never ceases to amaze us how awesome your work is! For us it is a heck of a lot more than just a moving light in the sky! So exciting to see! And eternally grateful and thankful for each and every one of you.

It is amazing to know/see that the ISS is passing just over your head. ISSFinder tells you when to go out look at the sky and exactly where to look. It is simple. Show your children!!

I have enjoyed setting time up with my son to go out and watch the passings. He looks forward to it each time and ISSFinder has been accurate each time.

Just downloaded ISSFinder so I have not had a chance to see the ISS. The next time the ISS with pass by giving me a chance to maybe see it will be Monday, July 2nd so I will leave a true review if ISSFinder works good and gives me a chance to see the ISS...

I have found ISSFinder to be pretty spot on. Time may vary a couple minutes and exact location a few degrees but have never not found it. Great to show kids

Great app. Set it up to get notifications then amaze your family and friends when you are able to point out the ISS during visible passes. Pretty cool!

So, I’m assuming that ISSFinder was purchased by someone or something. The recent update that changed the look of ISSFinder is horrendous. It is more difficult to read and use. It is such an unpleasant experience having an app that you’ve gotten used to and trust, to have it just turn around and poke you in the eye with a stick. Looking for an alternative now.

It was so easy to spot the ISS , ISSFinder tells you when and where it is going to be. It even gives you a rate how good it will be to see the ISS, you can set an alarm to alarm you when is passing.

I used ISSFinder to blow my Mom's mind.
The first time I was able to point at the sky and say, "That bright, fast-moving light? That's man-made. In fact, there are people up there IN THAT, and might be looking down at US right now."
That was awesome.

It's a simple app & it works. I love that it tells the best day & time to view the ISS. I live in NE Pennsylvania & I just ran outside to watch it pass Overhead.
One improvent would be to have a setting where I can choose a reminder pop up on my phone. I have the STARGUIDE app & a reminder popped up stating the space station will be passing overhead in 5 min. If not for that, I would've missed it
