Having to pay with cash only to watch episodes is annoying and stupid there should be other way to make coins and be able to watch episodes

The fact that every response is the same from the developer shows that DramaShorts is a joke there are now 100s of apps that show the same storylines that offer a weekly rate to watch unlimited. Please don’t respond that our creators work hard blah blah… this is a sham and a joke I don’t even pay this much to watch a movie at the theaters….

They responded that their creators worked hard to produce the films, well duh 🤦🏼‍♀️every creator work hard so don’t flatter yourselves! if you wanna buy like 3 episodes spend 30 dollars! It’s insane and I don’t know if anybody ever does that! There are other apps which are way better, these people just steal your money! Worthless garbage, wouldn’t recommend. 0/10!

I don’t mind paying to watch the episodes. I pay for all of my other streaming services, but every episode costs a different amount of coins, so I can’t figure out how much it would cost to watch the whole thing. I wish either every episode costs the same amount or I could pay one fee to finish a show. And it needs to be less than $50. I will never pay that much to watch a tv show.

You can only watch if you buy coins. You don’t have anything that I can watch to receive free coins. I would love to watch more of your stories, but I just can’t afford to buy a lot of coins to watch the stories. That’s why some of the apps I use offer you free coins to watch a video I would like to watch more of your videos, but until you offer some thing for free, I’m not gonna be able to do that, that’s very disappointing because I am enjoying your stories. If you add free videos, I’d be more than happy to give you five stars. That’s the only thing I’m disappointed in. Thank you.

The films themselves look great so I will give them that. But the problem is you have no way to earn free episodes. Even a few free episodes a day, like all the other apps, would be a great way to get people to still possibly pay for additional episodes but with no way to earn free rewards or episodes it’s just not worth it! You can’t give them just three episodes and ten say OK now you have to pay for the rest. Smh. People don’t know if it’s worth the investment if you don’t give them a chance to have another way to see the videos. They really need to implement some daily rewards or a way to unlock free episodes by watching ads.

Has zero rewards to earn points to watch. You only get a couple episodes to see if you like the show. That isn’t enough to gauge it at all. The cost for points is very high.

$20 to watch a few episodes in insane and definitely not worth it. I thought I was subscribing to a weekly fee. Thank goodness I didn’t get too invested. Such a waste.

Unless episodes are 5 to 10 minutes long, paying for them WITHOUT being able to choose ANY REWARDS system AT ALL is a RIP OFF. The only reason it even gets one star is so I can leave the comment.

The weekly subscription is a joke, I belong to two other platforms and pay the weekly subscription and can watch unlimited episodes. This one allows you only so many coins a day then it wants you to purchase more on top of your weekly subscription. NO THANK YOU!
I will not be renewing!

I don’t have any money to spend on DramaShorts and there is no way to earn coins or at least watch adds for a few fee episodes per day. Therefore I will be deleting. Sad because I saw a few shows I would have liked to watch.

I thought this would be like other apps I have that are similar to this one. Nope! DramaShorts is a complete ripoff. You can only earn 140 points a day by watching ads. You also get a pittance Daily check in.
DramaShorts plays a couple of shorts then charges you 50 coins to unlock the next. I used up my small stash , each time 50 coins.
I did some math hmmm 50cents… I can watch 10 episodes for 5.00. Ummmm nope! Right after you spend money the cost per short is 100 to 120! Even worse 2 of the “new” episodes I used over 100 coins to watch was nothing but a recap of the last episode with maybe 30 seconds of new content! I regret giving them even a penny. Do not DL this one unless you like Terrible actors and being ripped off.

The number of coins needed to open the next 30-60 seconds of video goes up as you get farther along in a story.
The few coins you get for watching a single ad are not enough to open the next 30-60 seconds.
So unless you plan on overpaying for a mediocre video, you will spend more time watching the videos then the actual video watching time you actually get. And since you can only watch a handful of ads per day, your only going to be able to watch a few minutes per day at most without paying for more.

I am removing DramaShorts. What a scam, dont get hoodwinked into using DramaShorts

It said subscription for $20 a week so I caved and bought it. Now I’m 20 episodes later I have already used up all the coins I was given with the subscription. That means it’ll cost me almost $100 just to watch 1 show. I Don’t understand how this will be affordable for people in the long run or how DramaShorts will survive with viewers who will keep paying $100 a show to watch. Guess I’m on the hunt for another app that will have weekly unlimited with subscription not go off of this coin systems apps. Really good shows but can’t keep up with the cost unfortunately.

The stories are great, the actors are also great …
but it’s ridiculously too expensive ! The chapters are very short, as in just a few minutes. To continue reading you have to pay .75 to 1.10. That adds up quickly and poof! The $25 you just spent is gone in less than an hour !
I truly like your stories but I just can’t afford the price.

The stories seems to be good. However, to watch all episodes you have to spend a lot of money. No options to watch ads or something. Definitely, it doesn’t worthy like a hundred bucks to watch a movie.

The content looks great but the price is absolutely ludicrous. What makes it worse is that each episode costs more coins than the one before it! The 1st episode was about 50-55 coins then the next few increased and increased. This last one was at 75 coins!! Whyyyy? This is wrong. They are all the same length, in the same show, so why are the prices getting higher and higher for the continuing episodes in ur show? In my opinion I can explain it with one word: GREED. It’s a shame bcuz I really think the content is just great. But, I will be deleting this asap. So, I definitely agree w the first reviewer who said if there’s no unlimited subscription then just don’t watch anything so you are hooked into it, just delete DramaShorts . It’s smart & great advice! Esp when you have greedy apps.

DramaShorts has one of the best acting shorts I’ve seen so far but I’m not paying five dollars for 500 coins that’s not enough. It will be a good app if there were rewards, but there aren’t, so I’m not able to keep DramaShorts because I can’t see myself buying coins for 1 minute episodes.

$20 a week for 3000 coins episodes cost so much. The coins are gone in just a few episodes for $20 a week. It should be unlimited. I can understand $20 a month getting a certain amount of coins and then checking in every day to earn more, but there’s no way to even earn coins.

I get it that the content would cost. Since they do not yet have millions of subscribers to bring costs down. But this is crazy high. Production value is good. But there is so much free content out there it is just not worth this much.

Hate there isn’t more options to earn bonus coins, wish the episodes didn’t require as much as they do. Can’t afford to buy a package of coins and it not cover to who movie. I don’t pay 25 to see a movie in the theater let alone something like this

I had to pay $25 (with discounts luckily or it would have been more) to watch just ONE movie. I started watching a second, and saw enough just to be interested. But will not pay the same or more to watch additional titles. Offer a weekly or monthly unlimited subscription and maybe.

I really liked this short. Finally an original story that w haven’t t but I’m REALLY ticked that it doesn’t finish and totally leaves us hanging!! I had to purchase extra coins to finish the last 10 episodes only to have it NOT FINISH!!! You shouldn’t put a short on until it is finished! It’s wrong for your paying customers who spent a lot of money on these stories. Very upset customer.

I’ve updated DramaShorts , now the payment for “coins” isn’t syncing up. My WiFi is working and my device is without issue. Something with the update doesn’t work. (It’s like the coins don’t deposit or something? Seems to be okay until the deposit for payment is to come back.)

To bad too, was enjoying what I was watching. Guess I’ll go to another app in the mean time.

I enjoyed watching the beginning but no options for ads to watch or nothing and spending $15 to only buy 3 episodes of a 60 episode story seems steep!

The stories are great but they cost way too much. You can pay anywhere from 52 coins to 124 coins for about 3 minutes (one chapter) way more compared to other short films like this. Doesn’t have opportunities to earn many coins.

As soon as I download these kinds of apps I see if DramaShorts has the subscription feature. Of course, if you downloaded DramaShorts you know it doesn’t. I only watch the apps with the subscription offer whether it is weekly or monthly or yearly cause I can’t afford it otherwise. So when you download these kinds of apps go straight to where you have to ‘top off’ and see, if they don’t have the subscription feature don’t start watching just delete DramaShorts . Yes their movies/shows look interesting but ask yourself in the long run will you be happy with your purchasers.

Why don’t you offer better prices on a weekly membership? The ads are disabled so we cannot watch them to get coins, but you keep pushing for your followers to “top up”. Advertising pays very well for mere minutes of air time.

I enjoy watching your videos sometimes I talk to them like they can hear me ( you know like you would do to a tv show) yes I do get caught up in them sometimes.. ( when they are really good) , Don’t get into foreign movies even with dialogue and videos that start off with brain dead actors ( I understand it’s not them ) but when the video is SOS I stop watching it, it just loses my interest!!
