They took away everything that made Playground so great. Unsubscribing and finding a new generator to pay for. You are now limited to the new templates and generating your own ideas has become increasingly difficult. The previous version was far better.

Not a fan of the templates. Preferred being able to write prompts and edit them until I got what I wanted

The update remove so many features Playground is useless. You can no longer create with prompts and can’t view previously creations. The Template pathway is not functional for unique creations since you start with a base photo.

I don’t need nor do I want a feature that lets me modify already crappy generic designs to use for logos, etc. I used this app exclusively to brainstorm and edit generated and refined art. Stuff I can hardly recreate elsewhere for some reason with quite the same results. The canvas feature was amazing, and it’s gone. SDXL runs ultra fast on your platform, and now the closing Discord says that’s going away by the end of the year. While the V3 model is cool, it is not enough to draw people to Playground or website. this app was really superior just months ago compared to other sites like it that made quality AI art generation and editing approachable and streamlined for people. It seems like you’ve lost devs or ownership is changing hands.. things happen, and change is inevitable, but what are you hoping to achieve? Do you really think people just want a sticker or T-shirt editor? If you are going to compete with the giant that is Canva, you’ve got a lot of work ahead of you. I already have Canva and don’t really need it. But this app is not an alternative for it. Nor do I want it to be. The speed at which those SDXL images came through was amazing. Not to mention the refiner and the samplers available. Take that away, and you will lose a TON of people. I know I sound harsh, but this is really disappointing. I didn’t want to have to go to a different app or site.

You cannot convince me that this update was made the intention of improving Playground. This was literally the best free ai software to use and they ruined it completely.

First, I just recently discovered that there was an iOS app, though I’ve been using the website for more than a year and a half. The second time I launched Playground though, it had been updated. Where are my notifications? I get notified all the time of likes, but they have completely disappeared from Playground , so there is no need to even click on a notification anymore. Second, and I didn’t even get a chance to look in Playground before it changed, where are my images? I’ve created over 60,000 on the site but I can’t see any of them in Playground ? Also, where are everyone else’s images? At least 50% of the fun of using this app is looking at what everyone else is creating, for inspiration, for learning how to make prompts, or even just seeing cool pictures. If I just picked up Playground and had never seen the website, I’d spend about 10 minutes playing around and then delete it and forget this app even existed. Do better.

The new designs are cool and all but I’d also like to be able to use the model I’ve paid for on mobile. It’s a huge oversight to disable that feature on Playground .

I recently discovered this app AI’s app on August 21 and was thrilled to use it, especially since it included notifications and seemed like a great extension of the desktop experience. For one day, I found Playground easy to use and enjoyed generating and finding my images.

However, my excitement quickly faded after the new update that rolled out the next day. The update introduced a requirement to choose a design template for image generation, which I find restrictive. I prefer the flexibility of generating images in my own style, particularly with celebrities, which the previous version allowed.

The new update has made Playground less functional for my needs, so I will be returning to the desktop version until this issue is addressed. I hope the developers reconsider this approach and restore the more user-friendly features that made Playground enjoyable.

I found several images that I had to report that were typed in a way that would add suggestive, sexual desires to children. It is not a good filtering so since they are allowing actual Ai child prn to get through. I reported several pictures of children being blindfolded and laid on bed suggestively and the prompts were very inappropriate. The devs need to do more work on blocking certain word sequences and images. This can lead to a whole mess of illegal imagery and caused them to lose more in the future if the authorities decided to find them.

I thought the this app app was great until they updated it to version 2.0. Before you could type in exactly what you wanted and it would create an image. Starting with version 2.0 you were just given templates that you could attempt to modify with prompts, but the results were usually not very good. Unfortunately, as a result, they have lost this user.

App used to allow for creation of images from scratch, not templates. Now image generation is time consuming, does not produce what is described, and is severely limited to what’s already in the template. Also, simply modifying someone else’s artwork feels like copyright infringement. This new version ruined a great product.

Playground was phenomenal…until a few days ago. Now you can’t even access your own creations much less make anything new. This is NOT Playground everyone signed up for, and I’d expect a mass exodus of users. Nice job ruining something great.

I must say Playground was near perfect until the newest update. I used to use it everyday. However the newest update is too restrictive and rendered Playground useless in my opinion. Unfortunately I intend to unsubscribe

I absolutely loved Playground and used it almost daily and paid for the upgrade, but they made an update that took away all creativity and erased all my previous art.

So, let me begin by saying this is the best AI app for content creation. I get just what I’m looking for. Exceeding my expectations in most cases. My ONLY suggestion-is for those of us that use Illustrator, Designer, Photoshop, Procreate, etc, is we would use Playground as a springboard. Artists always want to put their hands directly into the work in some way. I would love to see an export feature, to export files as layers and even different formats- jpg, eps, psd, tiff, png, etc. to further refine on desktop. You do that, at LEAST for the IPad Pro version, and you’ve got a real winner!

I gave it 4 stars. Not a bad rating considering I do love Playground how ever it does need improvement Playground needs to be better on putting the words on the clothing of Ai models people you create such as Pink I mentioned about the word pink in white letters on a girl creation I said white broad Word Pink on the girls pink hoodie the hoodie did not say pink.Plus you need to get better on understanding pony tail hanging down by the girls ear isn’t the same thing of braiding down the girls ear I said pony tail a couple of times plaided down by the girls ears it showed it as hair braided hanging by the ears Pink isn’t impossible to spell other then that the results are great Love Playground that’s why I give it a 4 I give it a 5 if you improve it a little more also the images are great and amazing quality like I said needs a little improvement

This is best I’ve seen so far, fast and creative.

I can't even stay focused because I can do anything in Playground. There is no limitations!
