MangaReader is great for reading manga anywhere and I love it for that. I used some other apps that needed me to pay to download manga for offline situations but MangaReader lets you download infinite amounts of manga for free. One problem that I have is that some of the manga does not upload correctly and I don’t get the notification that there are new chapters so I need to check from time to time to see if there were any nee chapters without the notification. Another problem that I got just recently is that some manga has other manga chapters, this happened with “The rising of the shield hero” (tate no yuusha no nariagari) which has 2 chapters of “the ancient magus’ bride” at the chapters 56 and 57, I got the notification this time and it really threw me off thinking that this was part of the manga until I read the title on one of the pages. I do not have “the ancient magus’ bride” on my favourites or have ever searched for it.

Good manga app for the most mainstream manga and some that's not. It's library is difficult to work though but once you get the hang of it then it's not so bad, I can't find alot of manga I'm currently reading on different apps and online sites, it's always complicated to read because you never know how the chapters will go if you have to read right to left or left to right. It needs more redrawers because VARIOUS manga absolutely looks terrible for the most part even one punch man is the prime example otherwise for the most part it wasn't so bad ;The most recent problems which has made me very irritated is the fact that it isn't registering the chapters I've been reading so they're not "greyed out" which makes me coming back to read very hard because I can't find the chapter I left off on, MangaReader itself has been closing out constantly various times a day to the point where it doesn't even let me open MangaReader until I delete and redownload it but that destroys the progress of my downloaded manga which I have to redownload every time I delete MangaReader . I would appreciate if you could fix the bugs because this is my main reading app besides reading from online websites and light novels

I have used several manga reader apps over the years and it is by far one of my favorite ones. It has a extremely large selection of content and I can usually find something new to read. There are a few small issues, the first thing is it takes up way too much storage. Every other app that I have ever used was around a 1g. This one is already up to 9g and increasing with each series I favorite... also some series will come up with new updates but there will be no new chapters even after you refresh them. There is no way to remove that indicator either. That is a minor complaint though, the memory is the biggest thing and if keeps increasing I’ll have to further downsize my reading Liston just find another app. Over all MangaReader it’s self is fantastic and is a pleasure to use.

MangaReader is definitely worth it. Once I downloaded it I thought I would be greeted by an add right away. To my surprise, I didn't see any adds at all. I was actually excited because most of manga apps I downloaded have tons of adds. But, MangaReader isn't perfect(yet). There are a few bugs like certain mangas not loading or specific pages of a manga that just won't load. There is a purchase which does give you a few more website libraries but the ones you are already given are good even without the add on. I haven't been disappointed after around 2 weeks of MangaReader and hope that it'll stay that way. All in all, I would definitely recommend MangaReader for whoever is interested or is in to manga.

Although is not the worst manga app I’ve used, I think there’s some room for improvement, namely in relation to back up and restore. I use MangaReader on both my phone and iPad (love that its iPad compatible) and whenever I add something on one device, I also manually back up so that on the other device (in theory) it’ll restore my favorites etc. However, that’s not the case. I’ve tried numerous times and yet I am unable to restore my full history and favorites from device to device. If this feature were to be fixed I’d give 5 stars! Overall though, if you’re striking out to find a certain manga, you’ll most likely find it here. Keep up the good work!

MangaReader is great! It’s high speed downloading and storage space in MangaReader is great. But something that really bothers me is, some mangas are shown yet you can’t read them due to licensing issues. This really destroys your hopes regarding those mangas. Another annoying thing would be the transition, I actually own one of the books on MangaReader yet the translation is completely off form the book. (Extra words are added) Okay... the last complaint would be the fan fictions. I’m sorry for the people who were hoping to read ONE PIECE but all they have are Zoro x Sanji fan fictions. No one wants to see that. But other than those complaints MangaReader is pretty good( I love the variety).

*Update* after manually selecting the chapters the download feature works fine! Although it’s a bit tedious I don’t mind so my problems solved.

Hey so I just recently downloaded MangaReader and find it awesome! It’s a really large database that allows me to read almost all the manga I want to. Although one feature I was very excited for was the download feature. I have a vacation soon and reading on the plane seemed amazing to me. Since I don’t have the premium version of MangaReader , I used the watch a video option to select all the chapters of a manga. After I tried to hit the download button, but nothing happened. I will continue trying but I will admit I’m slightly disappointed. Thank you for creating such a great app, and I hope it was my fault that way the problem is easy to fix.

MangaReader is great and easy to use, when I first started I found 3 300+ page mangas to keep me busy and it was extremely easy to read too and very accessible, it also is easy to find other manga but I have a problem with trying to read other manga.

When I try opening/reading other mangas other than the three I choose at first, it doesn’t load any of the pictures or even the thumbnail, I have a lot of other manga that sound promising too that I want to read, I tried un favorite-ing the three I had before and favorited some other three but it still didn’t work. I re-favorited the three I had at first but it didn’t show the images, now I can’t really read anything anymore. I only managed to open and read one manga, and i'm sure the mangas im trying to read are still available.

So much better than reading on my cell’s web browser, and here are the things I love about it: I can add a series to my favorites list. When I reopen MangaReader it remembers where I left off on each series so I don’t have to. I can download chapters to read which comes in handy during my work breaks. I can choose if I want the next page to appear by swiping right, left, or down. There are multiple sites to choose from which makes it easier for me to find less popular titles. I can turn my phone sideways to view a larger, easier to read page, and I can zoom in and out with my fingers. I’ve never been one to read much until I discovered books with pictures, and since I’ve downloaded MangaReader 2 weeks ago it’s been all that I’ve done in my free time.

So far this is a really good and easy app to use, glad I paid premium to get rid of advertisements when I read. I wish there was a update to fix the bugs. Such as some of the manga I have in my favorites don’t pop up saying they have new chapters, i have to go through each manga one by one to see if they have a new chapters (yes I do change my manga sources, I do that to see which one has the newest manga chapters for certain manga). Then I used to be able to see the art cover/new manga (this is how I would find new manga to read) that just came out to Updates, but it’s been stuck on no cover art / same manga for I guess Winter 2018 (guess it’s frozen), though I know there has been new updates I just can’t see them anymore.

I love this mobile app and that I access most of every manga series available, particularly “Nagasarete Airanto”, “Moon Phase”, “Ai Yori Aoshi”, “CardCaptor Sakura Clear Card” as well, though I much rather wait for the official English releases of the 6 and 7th “Clear Card” manga and not spoil what’s going to happen in the last two volumes. I just wish I could purchase each of the volumes of these series’s so I wouldn’t have to keep going on MangaReader and viewing commercial ads when I’m trying to read the digi-books. The commercial ads are pretty annoying as I’m right in the middle of viewing a chapter and I have to keep closing off each of the ads before I can resume reading. Can we please remove the ads?

As the title states, MangaReader is on if the best manga viewing apps I have used so far. A great selection of titles that not just contain the more popular ones but even smaller, niche ones that seem to plague other manga apps. Very intuitive to use and can be easily customizable to fit your reading style.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of some small annoyances. Sometimes the "download all" skips a couple of chapters, when a chapter fails to load I have to restart, that sort of thing. However, the worst grievance I have with MangaReader is that I cannot sort my Favorites list alphabetically - that, or I can't for the life of me figure that out.

But, all in all, a very good app.

I absolutely love it! I have a problem with backing the data up on my iPad tho.. and like most manga apps it takes up quite a lot of storage when you add a lot of manga, etc. I love it very much! I don’t see much apps that are free; and doesn’t really require any type of coins to buy or anything! But do expect if you’re getting a reading app, it WILL take a lot of storage based off of what you read! I love the many different manga sources and how it’s so convenient!! I give this a 6/5. I’ve been using this for a while and it’s taking up most of my storage, so I’ve been attempting to sync the data to my iPad (that I don’t use much).

MangaReader is outstanding honestly. To the people that complain about adds it seriously IS NOT that bad. You only get ads when you get to a new chapter BUT you can download all the manga you want onto your phone for free and only have to watch one ad then it’s turn off your WiFi and enjoy all that you want. I don’t have service anyways so while I’m at work this feature is simply amazing for breaks. I want to thank the developers for this amazing app it will never be deleted off my phone or phones to come. Thank you and when I can I will be buying the full version <3

Would it be possible to make the scroll speed faster when moving your own favorites around? My favorites list has gotten quite large and moving anything new from the top to the bottom takes a solid minute or two even when im in horizontal orientation.

My suggestion would be to make the scroll go faster the further to the right you are so it isn’t just a universal speed boost. That way, you can actually move it faster and lower the speed as you get closer to where you want it.
