Hi there VooDoo team. I really enjoy the game, but before I spend money (which I will) PLEASE make this game PvP. It's soo boring against AI. Please! Thanks Blessings

This game had been fun and easy to learn and pickup. Collecting cards if fairly simple and having level differences doesn’t seem like its the end as other games do. My big issue comes from only playing against computers. They always feel like they are set to easy mode and with a good deck you can win way before overtime. The race feature is nice but it doesn’t feel like it’s human contributed due to how much npc play there is. When you have a streak of 300 and every bot has a streak of 60–80 the bonus reward doesn’t feel valuable or thrilling. In the end the game feels more like an offline game for extreme casual play while we wait for more updates. For decks it comes down to specific cards that overwhelm the game. For me Buzzsaw, stun gun, gun, cart, minion army, and mini drones is my main deck. Lots of other cards are underwhelming, like all the ground units, and the anti-air is non-existent. In fresh starts if you don’t have stun gun or place a motor right an early dragon will dominate the field. All in all theres much to improve on and the only thing potentially worth buying is the ad-free so you can play faster without interruptions. For a start you would hope for a little more polish and a minimum PvP.
Edit: realized this game is 12+ years old and the dev hasn’t made any significant changes. Dropping my review from 3 to 1 because of this. Personally a 12+ year game with nothing to show indicates to me that this is a money grab only game.

So here’s the thing. This game itself? Decent, sure. But the principals it operates on encourages you not to play much at all. After every game you win, you get a ‘card pack’ that you use to upgrade your cards. Simple enough. The problem? Each card pack is held back by an arbitrary timer. Most seem to be 3 to 8 hours. You can watch an ad to knock 30 minutes off the clock. You can, at maximum, hold up to 4 card packs. This means that if you play four rounds and win each time, if you don’t want to waste a card pack, you have to wait for hours before you can play a single round again. And you can’t exactly open all the card packs at once, you can only unlock one at a time. So if you have 4 three hour card packs, you’re waiting 12 hours total between them, provided you check in three times to swap which pack you’re opening.
Sure. You can unlock the card packs early. And sure, you can play without the spoils. But watching six ads to play a single round or playing to your own detriment seems like a stupid thing for anyone playing a game to do. Especially since there are also skippable ads between rounds. Essentially, the entire game just isn’t really worth it if they want to gatekeep you playing that much.

Moving past the “encourage you to play less or pay more” card pack timers (WHICH ARE CURRENTLY BROKEN AS E.V.E.R.Y. PACK IS TAKING EIGHT HOURS), also moving past the AI competition and its issues, even ignoring the fact it’s actually an ad farm since it could be worse they could interrupt the game itself with ads. My two biggest gripes are the fact that once you hit Ultra Diamond you no longer can get quicker open times, and with the lack of communication to/from the developer. Players shouldn’t have to write 1-star reviews to let developers know when functions are broken. Players shouldn’t be left in the dark when game functions are removed. Are Hero Powers coming back? Should I be holding off on upgrading my cards so that I don’t miss out on the points needed to upgrade my Heroes when they do?
