Not worth it

I think this game could be fun if you offered more rewards. As of now, I’m really frustrated because you can only play for about 4 minutes until you are completely out of energy. In the beginning of the game, Chapter 1, you offer decent compensation/rewards/energy (I’m assuming to get the player “hooked.”) After chapter 1, it’s all downhill and you offer barely any rewards and almost no energy. Am I just not finding the right things to click? I refuse to spend actual money on any game. You don’t even offer ads to earn more energy or anything. If you get hooked on this game, it will bleed your bank account dry. It seems intentional. You can tell me if I’m wrong and convince me otherwise, but I believe this to be the case.

Road trip

This is such a fun game but unless you are a millionaire don’t even get started. You can buy a 1000 energy and when you do it will be gone in a few minutes because when you buy the game will raise how much energy it takes to advance in the game. When your energy finally gets restored you get 3 turns at the most before you are out of energy again. So for such a fun and wonderful game the owner or company whoever cares nothing about the players just Greedy. All money money money and more money. Unbelievable how they think parents can afford a game like this. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Money/Energy

This game gives you opportunities to get more energy. You start out with 100. You get really optimistic when you get up there in energy. Until you understand that the more energy you have, the more it takes to clear obstacles.

You will never get to the end of any road trip without purchasing energy. Frankly, the further you get into the trip, the higher the cost. 100 in energy has about 5 moves if you’re lucky. If you see a tree limb across the path, don’t get too excited when it shows 33 points. Then you click on it and it makes you spend another increment and by the time you clear it, your hundred points is gone. It starts out low in the beginning to clear obstacles and then it jumps up to ridiculous proportions.

They do have “sales” if you want to purchase energy. One offer was 9.99 for 200 in energy and 200 in game money. So you can clear two trees. It’s not worth 9.99 to play for two minutes. It gets used up fast, especially in the middle of the trip. I’ve been averaging 5 minutes of play at a time. Wait an hour or more for energy to regenerate and login again.

It’s a crying shame because it’s a fun game but they have ruined it trying to make money. For this reason, I’m deleting the game. What a shame. They put a lot of effort in developing the game and the graphics. It’s got a lot of fun and varied features. Great concept but people have lives and can’t afford it in money or time. Good Luck!

Well-adorned and thoughtfully designed cash grab

Looks great, plays great, really nice blend of merge & story, and a good variety of tasks to complete. You’ll grow tired quickly, though, of having to thumb past all of the many, many, many pop-up sales offering energy, merge batteries, refills, etc. for your hard-earned cash.

These kick in immediately following the introductory chapter where, at the same time, you’ll be rudely awakened to how much more energy it costs to do things. I’ve had sessions where three actions completely wiped me out. 2:30 hours of waiting for :30 seconds of play time is not such a great ratio.

And forget completing any of the side events, storylines, or challenges using just devotion and good time management. Special levels are designed so that they cannot be completed without spending money - in some cases I’ve seen, a fairly astonishing amount.

It’s really a shame. It’s a cute game with great potential, but these developers are greedy, greedy, greedy.

Great Game

I really enjoy playing this game. I only have a few issues with this game in general. First the energy the higher the levels the more energy you use. You only give us 100 and then most of the jobs are more than 30 energy points and you’re lucky if you get at least 3 jobs done before you have to reset your energy. Which makes you purchase more energy or cash to complete the job task. Second the cards, this is great but you should be able to turn in the duplicate cards for some type of reward either other cards, cash , merge items or energy. Other than that this game is super fun and addictive.

Update I lost all of my progress…. I need it back !!

Expeditions

The game is pretty good when you’re playing the normal regions.

But I’ve been playing an expedition for the past couple days and the energy consumption climbs way too fast. Halfway through, every single obstacle required 80. It went down in the second half of the expedition, but now that I’m near the end, it’s gone up again and is testing my patience. Our energy bar is limited to 100 and they expect me to use 150 to get rid of a tree??? I understand that since I’m near the end, it’s reasonable to see high energy requirements, but really… Even if I buy the safe pass it only raises my energy bar maximum to 120. Make it make sense. Thank god I didn’t waste the free energy gate thing on something else otherwise I probably wouldn’t be able to finish before the time limit.

Has potential, NEEDS improvement!

Like every other review on here, the need to spend a lot of money to get any play time is mandatory. You can’t play more than 2-3 minutes (no exaggeration) before running out of energy. I don’t mind purchasing items to support the developer, but the pricing is outrageous. $20 bucks for 1100 energy, is insane. I could see if this lasted a while, but with every chop of a bush or tree being 10-50 energy, it runs out quick. I got sucked in and spent way too much money, very quickly, because the game grabbed me. It has good graphics, it has fun little expeditions on the side. But then I realized I had to put out real money multiple times a day just to get 30 minutes of playtime.

So disappointed in the update

Here I was, chugging along in the game despite how ridiculously difficult it is to make progress after the first couple chapters, and along comes an update that changes the appearance of all the merge items. They were completely fine, well-designed and clearly defined. Now all the edges are rounded, the colors and designs are different, and everything looks cartoony. Not to mention the tree sprouts can no longer be deleted, so I’m going to be overrun with them soon or have to pay precious game money to buy more storage pockets. Such a pointless update. I’m going to delete the game.

Money Guzzler

I’m so bummed! This was starting to be one of the most favorite games I’ve ever played, even more than Sunny House and Merge Mansion. But that was not to be. I just can’t afford it. At least you can play those games for longer than two or three minutes without running out of energy. So I’m having to delete it, with much disappointment. Would be nice to make the kind of money needed for this game, with its series of pop-ups wanting money before you can even play longer than a few seconds. Oh well. Enough said.

Enjoyable… but limited unless you pay

This game is very fun, however without spending money you cannot progress in the limited time adventures. You have to check back every hour or so to use the limited free power you are given for free.
Spending money is the only way you can compete in any of the challenges. It’s definitely frustrating because it is fun. But beware, if you spend money it will only give you a few more minutes before all the energy/bucks/battery power is gone.

They make it impossible to play

I’m in an expedition and like most other comments, the energy costs get so high you can clear 3 or 4 obstacles and are stuck. Either spend money or wait… which makes me inclined to NEVER spend a dime here. Really fun games that give just the right amount of challenge are worth throwing some money at every once in a while, or buying the inexpensive “monthly pass” to enhance game play, but any game that is so blatantly making it difficult to play just to make players spend money is ridiculous and I refuse. I’ll delete the game before I give you one red cent!
Now it’s more difficult than ever to progress because they have initiated a Generator Amplifier- completely stalling out progress for items that are base level. I am in an expedition and I’m getting 2nd or 3rd tier items from the generators- never a base level item- EVER. So I’m stuck because to progress I need base items and can’t get them. This expedition will end before the generator turns off. And scissors to reduce an items level are not available. Maybe if I could progress one would show up down the line, but I can’t progress because I can’t get the scissors! And I can’t even spend in-game money to purchase them….
I’ll probably give it a day or two more (which will equal about 10 minutes play time) and then delete it. Cute game, but way too frustrating to play.

Fun game but energy consumption goes way too fast

Initially I found the energy consumption to be fair…I could play for about a half hour before running out unless I wanted to spend $ to buy more. On several occasions I made purchases only to see the energy get used rapidly…when the obstacles charges between 50 to 70 energy points and you only have 100 to use you don’t get very far. I’ll keep playing for another week but am finding it hard to stay committed to something where I don’t see much progress. I also am feeling that I’ll never be able to finish any of the challenges in the time allotted without spending a significant amount of money.

Energy ratio is insane

I’m only about 30 minutes to a hour playing this game and I can tell it’s not gonna be one I get far into playing. You have a limit of 100 energy where 1 energy regenerates every 2 minutes. Which I feel like is typical in these kinds of games. What isn’t typical is how much energy you have to use to progress in the game. You have to constantly be clearing your path which takes an upwards of 6 or 7 barriers in some paths and each blockage takes minimum 10 energy to destroy with the average rn being somewhere around 25. I literally can get on the game with 100 energy and spend it in less than a minute WITHOUT having got to the next objective. Its infuriating. If they were to fix this major issue it might be a game I actually put my time into but as of now I don’t see myself playing it.

Love the game, BUT…

If there were a few changes, this game would be 5 stars. I love playing it. I love the combination of adventure and merge. I could easily play it for hours, but that would be impossible without spending a bunch of money. First, you have to expend a lot of energy on the adventure tasks - it looks like you have a lot, then suddenly after removing a few obstacles, you have very little. Then, you either spend money for more energy, or wait until you have accrued more. Second, and possibly the most frustrating, when you use the time boosters, it really doesn’t help much at all lol. Same if you are paying to speed up the use of something that is regenerating. For example - you go into the game and the toolbox has like 100 uses before it has to regenerate. You’d think using the time booster or paying for it to regenerate would get you another 100 uses, be a that’s only fair. But no - it’s like 20 lol. And then it wants you to boost it again. I don’t think so, dude. That’s a blatant money grab right there, and if I didn’t love the game so much, I would have quit already. Be a decent human and fix that, please - make it fair. And maybe tone down the energy use just a tad? I have no problem spending money on games, but not that way.

Love/hate

I love the game and adventures, I’m addicted but the amount of energy you use to break something up vs the 100 energy you start with just doesn’t seem adequate. I hate waiting for the energy to reset. I don’t want to have to pay money just to speed up my energy in where you end up using it all in a couple of minutes. The bonuses are great too, but are far to in between. I play other games where if you run out of energy you could earn some free energy after watching an ad. Yes, a lot of people hate ads but it’s a thought.

Fun game!

I really enjoy this game, it’s quickly become my favorite. I am having difficulties and am unable to participate in the current survey for the race, which is disappointing as I really wanted the extra energy.
I would give it five stars if there were a few small changes— a couple of them being I wish the weekly events would last a little longer as it’s really difficult to complete. Especially as the energy required increases sooooo much as you progress to the point where it feels like I can no longer feel I’m playing an actual game because I clear a two bushes on top of each other then having to wait two hours for my energy to refill and repeat.. All for a minute or two of game play.
It would be nice if the events/main storyline had different energy bars so players are able to play back and forth. Also if there were a way you could increase how much energy your bar has, (medieval merge for example) players would be able to play more, and would be less likely to lose interest in and ultimately uninstalling the game.

I do, however, absolutely love playing this game. It is hands down one of my favorites to play.

Fun, prepare to be patient

The story is high key unhinged and I love it. I keep coming back for the drama.

The game itself is fun, and I appreciate the alternative chopping + merging mechanics. I wish the energy were a little more forgiving or there were other ways to remove large/expensive obstacles. Like any of these types of games, if you are patient, you don’t have to pay to play.

Money/ Energy

I like the fact that your energy/money doesn’t go away really really fast to where you’re forced to either buy/purchase or uninstall the game. I don’t want to uninstall I’m about 10-15 minutes in and I still have over 100+energy which is plenty. I started with the standard amount, but I can’t remember what that was. It was under 100 maybe 75 and energy. Thanks. Good game so far. I’ll come back to write a review in a couple of days.

Fun but…

I love this game, but the amount of energy required to progress is unreasonable. I don’t mind paying to play longer, and I have with this game, but even then I get very little playing time. Once the energy is full, you can usually play for only a few seconds. It starts to feel like I’m getting ripped off a bit. This isn’t a game I will be paying money towards in the future. If it was more fair, I would, because I do enjoy it.

I’m updating my review because there seem to have been changes made to better balance energy usage vs energy earned. Definitely a 5 star game now.

Too bad

This game has potential. Unfortunately they haven’t worked out how to play for more than a few minutes, 3-4 task will take all your energy and then you have to buy energy, just to do 3-4 more tasks. It was fun for the first level or so but after that it’s just hurry up and wait.
