Game was fun for awhile. The levels are all the same. Upgrading takes forever and upgrades do not really improve gameplay. Only way to really get thru levels is by watching endless ads. Game is based on getting you to watch endless ads.

You need to watch ads if you want a boost as it takes sooooo long otherwise.
Deleted the game because it is worse than watching cable TV/YouTube.
You don’t have to watch but then just have to wait forever and nothing to do until you have enough money.
But most games are like that nowadays and I delete them after few hours of playing

I've been playing this game for months, because up until now it was relaxing and enjoyable. However, the new update ruined that. It appears that difficulty was significantly increased at an attempt to persuade gamers to watch more ads. The result is that a i find myself annoyed and closing StatesBuilder to move on to a more relaxing game. I will keep checking back with the hope that you return the game to when it was good. Examples, as I noticed others point out, the "free every 8 hours" should read free every 24. Before the updates, leveling the buildings in progression worked well because each building and or power up was balanced. now it's completely out of balance, resulting in gold accumulating way too slow (again, it appears an attempt to force more ad watching). This kills the playability of the game. And what's up with the characters now raiding buildings? That is totally out of place with the play of this game. Another attempt to slow progress and force watching ads. Overall, I do not recommend playing this game in the current form. It has lost all its relaxing qualities and is now nothing but frustrations. Its probably time to delete this one.

If you look at all the developer responses there all very much alike. We’re working on it, thank you for playing and so on. If you could give us some idea if you plan to ad sound or plan to bombard us continually with ads or something more than we’re working on it I believe people would stick by this game as it is a good game and very addictive.

Enjoy the game but needed a bigger screen and what I found out is that I when i downloaded it to my IPad- I’m starting from the very beginning. Now I’m stuck with the wheat, mills and bread where I can’t connect the salmon to the rocket. I hope this gets fixed soon before I delete StatesBuilder and rate it as a 1 star.

No correction to the game, so I deleted the game.

It’s not advertised correctly at all. There are regions divided with each resource they don’t blend together. You don’t get to decide where they go. You just run tracks to all of them and watch the belts carry resources and spend money on tiles you will never use.

it’s quite fun, despite how laggy it was, but NOT safe!? I played quite a bit, and was listening to music while playing. After about 3 worlds my music was suddenly replaced with beeping and said “scanning device” I closed StatesBuilder immediately and assumed it was a weird bug and went back to playing. After some time the game suddenly opened safari and said it was downloading something!? I closed the tab asap and cleared my safari history in hopes it would remove whatever potential virus was opened, but now my phone has the hotbar from the bottom of the game screen permanently in the screen!?? Idk what’s going on, but if I were you, I would NOT download this game!! Developers, I really hope y’all actually read reviews and can help, i’m genuinely very worried about my phone now. I’ll update this review if anything changes, thanks.

update: just after writing this review the hotbar is no longer burned into my phone and my screen appears normal. still unsure if any damage was done, but everything seems ok. still, wouldn’t recommend this game and wont be downloading or playing it ever again under any circumstances. super sketchy.

There are apps at the bottom of the screen that will redirect out if StatesBuilder without even touching the screen. Upon returning to StatesBuilder , it will redirect again and again. Very annoying, and unplayable.

On the iPhone the font is way too small, discriminating against pepple less than perfect vision (not everybody’s version is correctable to 20/20). When are you developers going to stop making everything an eye chart test?!

This game could be crazy good fun if you didn’t have to keep doing the 3-finger zoom to read things, frequently accidentally changing something, for a man to three finger move on the iPhone screen! Oh please. Not everybody have the fingers of a 9-year old. Cudos for having a screen for the iPhone and not a sueezed down tablet or desktop screen (I won’t even go into the ads.)

You FORCE people to do the tutorial! I WAS going to buy it after purchasing the land to the south and StatesBuilder starts forcing action, real irritating.

So I delete StatesBuilder and reload it. Dumb move for you start forcing the player to do the braindead tutorial. The cripes sake. (This is dimple as it gets. You don’t need a tutorial if you ha ve a brain.)

I said forget it and just deleted States Building. You make it too much work to give you money.

So I just spent like $15 on your game and I thought that it would work that if I upgraded the thing that it would let me pass to the next level but it won’t it’s a bug within your game. I’ve already contacted support. Nobody’s reached back to me and it’s a little annoying because I really did like the game and I was willing to spend the money on it, but I can’t get to the next level and so I’m stuck at a fully down level with one box left and can’t get to the next level and it’s annoying.

The game is a fun little time killer but the fact that you have to clear all the quests before leaving a level is annoying. The game has you build structures that produce raw resources then move them to different refining points making higher quality items, sometimes multiple steps, that you then sell to the city. That’s great until the game gives you a quest to sell an unrefined or partially refined item to the city, then you have to break down your system and operate less efficiently to complete the goal just to turn around and remember how everything was set up before, it’s tedious. The game should give you goals to sell X number of raw resource OR items made from that raw resource instead. If you want to break down your lines to complete the goal faster (it can take 3-6-more of a raw resource to make the refined item) then you can but if you don’t want to undo your work you can just take longer to sell the refined items.

Ads, ads everywhere. Banner ads along the bottom, forced ads when you expand territory, plus optional ads. Lots and lots of ads.

To make room for the banner ad at the bottom, the interface is moved up, but the scroll area does not account for that, so on some levels it’s nearly impossible to get to some of the tiles. There are also so many UI elements for buying things that they overlap. The big No Ads icon ends up getting covered.

The gameplay itself is easy and repetitive. I very quickly went through the first few levels and then started to find it boring. There is little to no challenge.

I have been playing this game for a few awhile now and I like the constant changing of products to keep you thinking which way to send your products.
The only complain I have is the ads. I bought the no ads bundle to see NO ADS, as it says. Not some ads to add more money or diamonds, but no ads. Other games do as they say, no ads mean NO ads. I complained 4 times before I even got a response stating they are looking into it and never heard from them again. I guess there goes my money. I guess it’s time to stop playing also.

After the pretty much tutorial every time u do something significant towards the progress in the game and get a rush of dopamine it’s ruined by a ad that pops up out of nowhere, I get devs want money in their pocket but do away with the forced ads make it optional for a bonus or something and lower the prices to 4.99 for everything not many people wanna spend 7 dollars on each different thing for a small game. Get rid of your forced ads that ruin the game make them optional (I’m sure you’ll still get paid by the ads) and maybe sell more in app purchases. Just a thought. Other than that and the lack of small content here and there it’s good.

The game is pretty easy, but it’s a very long slow grind without taking advantage of the proliferation of voluntary booster ads. (Like an offer every 30 seconds.) Haven’t seen many mandatory ads after a week of playing, so the pay to remove them option seems like a waste of money - especially since it won’t remove the “watch this ad for a boost” ads. (Or let you get the boosters without watching the ads.)

The game is also silent. No music or sounds whatsoever. I thought it was a glitch at first, but even after completely closing out and restarting, there is absolutely no sound. Really wish there was at least some background music.

There are also regular purchase offers, but the game is completely playable without them. It’s just going to take a bit more patience and grinding.

It was fun the first time around but when I moved to the next region and everything reset and started from the beginning again and played out exactly the same as the first region, I lost interest. :( It would’ve been more interesting if I could build from what I had and develop regions over time. For those who like constantly having to start over, the goblin mining game and the eat verse or something restaurant game that keeps coming up in ads lately in other games, are exactly the same, just different imagery. Max a level and start over, etc.

Giving three stars instead of two due to having a decent balance of ads to game play and more incentivized ads that reward players with something instead of ads to have ads.

All along the way there are villages that house either buffs or barbarians that attack your factories. Once you reach higher levels, the barbarians cross state lines to attack factories that are one or two hops away from your defenders —which are stuck to reside only in cities. After a certain level, barbarians will cross boundaries to attack your most expensive factories. The game designers know that players defenses can’t possibly get there in time to protect the valuable property. This causes players to consider in-app payments. The play design is a scam. After 50 levels I deleted StatesBuilder .

Been playing and moving along just great this week it’s been a bit sad either it’s not letting me connect my factories or some else and the. Today is our right just decided to collect all the the required pieces and my rocket now has all green checks it’s like the game is frozen from and shows I still have one grid to collect which is incorrect and it’s stuck. My other issue or wonder is why do I lose my coins every time I move to a new level. That’s just outrageous because when you get into a new level you basically have to wait to get energy to be able to collect enough count to open up a few grids to keep the game going.

This game would get more stars if it had sound. Who likes playing a strategy game with no sound at all. There is no feedback at all from the game and makes it very difficult to play for any length of time.

It is also a very slow tedious game to play through a level takes a considerable amount of time. I’d much rather there be more levels with faster overall play through per level than to drag everything out.

Decent game but needs several updates to make it worth your time.

I’ve enjoyed the game for quite a while and the defenders and tribes update is giving major Civ barbarian vibes. Love it. I think the defenders would be better if they work differently, maybe the city level gives a pop cap and they can be deployed or roam. Right now the attackers just attack the nearest building that can be far away from the city and the defenders will have to slowly walk to them, only leaving the city when the attackers start doing damage. So the attacker tribe tiles just act as a ‘debt’ tile as they’re all but guaranteed to damage at least one building.

The game is fun but when I bought the ad free option it still keeps randomly putting ad based content in front of me. True I have to click on it but you can’t tell what is free or ad driven until you click and many of them items are needed if you want to finish a level. So I dropped two stars for the ad annoyance and what I call false advertising for removing the ads (which I paid for).

It’s alright. Not much really goes on but it somehow keeps you waiting for the next click. It needs some work because it’s too easy to accidentally break connections between points while collecting coins and moving the screen. Also it isn’t clear that some connections need to be made in both directions or goods won’t move. Not sure why I’m playing this game or for how much longer but it manages to keep mindless activity going.

I strongly suspect that the game uses the camera to see if the player is looking at the screen. Three times in the last two days I’ve had ads autostart, *without me touching the screen at all*, and I’ve just realized that all three instances have occurred when I’ve set the phone to one side (such as to let game coin churn). Not cool!

Beyond that - fun at first, but what's the point - you start from scratch at every level, no matter how much you accumulated in the previous level.

I’ve been having a lot of fun playing this game, but my phone gets really overheat even if it’s been 5 minutes. I’m not going to blame the game as it might just be my phone, then again I have other games but never seem to get hot in the slightest.

This game is extremely simple but strangely addicting and fun! And there are forced ads but they’re like every 15-20 minutes which is doable for me. You literally can just sit there and play for hours without having to spend a dime!

Having fun. Commercials are not overwhelming which is good. Few suggestions: Feels like boards can be built out with more combos. Second layer of combos would be good beyond the first which combines different materials into things. The number of defenders seems to be underused. Only occasionally are there attacks and number of defenders doesn’t seem to matter too much.

Lastly your math is off in the upgraded. When you upgrade something with “adds x% to cost” it seems to add 1-x% to cost.

I want to preface this by saying this is my favorite game on my phone right now and I absolutely love this game. But, I often find myself removing roads on accident just by tapping them, and there is no real way to find which one I removed if it’s a massive web of roads. Please either add an edit mode of sorts that can be used to add and remove roads, a confirmation message asking you if you’re sure you want to remove the road, or a dedicated button on the side of the screen that toggles road removal mode so you can’t accidentally remove roads

I was enjoying this little game and didn’t mind watching ads to get bonuses every now and then. But then I started a level with a nomad village that attacked and destroyed my only income source. I waited for the investor to offer me gold to watch an ad, but he never showed up - maybe he’s linked to how much money you are making, because it’s linked to not time played. I stared at the screen for quite a few minutes and he never showed up to offer me deals. Not enough gold to uncover another base resource. Not enough gems to purchase gold and not going to spend real money for in-app purchases. No way to restart the level. I contacted support, but received no reply in over 48 hours. Deleting StatesBuilder and good riddance. I’ll find another time waster to give my ad-watching money to.

And I really wish they would add some way of tracking progression . It doesn’t tell you what level you are on at all so when comparing with friends it’s difficult.

I’ve been playing for a few weeks now and I enjoy this game! I bought the get rid of mandatory ads and even though there weren’t many auto ads it was still nice. However, there’s some gameplay things that need fixing. If two things are right next to each other and are connected, you can’t I connect them. They’re too close to tap and get rid of the road, they just become stuck there. The recent update made it so when the ads for the game bits are up they take a few seconds now for the exit x to appear and that’s annoying. I used to just be able to click out instantly and now I’m stuck looking at them for longer. It’s harder to see the merchant guys than it was to see the balloons, so it’s harder to do quest things. (Also the free chest says it’s available every 8 hours but it’s not. You can click it for free every 24 hours or so and you can watch an ad for it again which doesn’t make it free. If you made it so it didn’t lie that’d be cool, but that’s just a small thing)

It’s just a few little things that, if fixed, would make this much better! I do really enjoy this game, it’s quite fun! Just harder to play now with the recent update messing things up a tad.

The basic game is interesting, and figuring out how to move resources around is fun. However, I have noticed worlds repeating, and have screenshots to confirm. I bought the ad free package, which makes things go fast. You have to repeatedly choose restore purchase to refresh your ad free coupons. I would like some new worlds and some new chains.

Roads are too easily deleted. You should make it so that you have to double tap to delete or click on and make a pop up with a trash can to confirm the delete.

Also if you could zoom out a little farther to see the entire world in the screen?

I’ve been playing the game a lot. Enough that I feel like paying to get rid of auto ads was worth it.

But the lack of any sound in the game gives it an unfinished feel.

I love this little resource manager game. It’s extremely fun to play and can at times be a bit addictive😅 Two features I would love to see added:

• There isn’t much for sound in this game so some background music or sound effects would be great

• The storage building lets you see the amount of items stored within, but items build up in other building such as forges/mills/factories. When not connected to another building, items can build up within creating another type of storage just for that one item. I would love to see those buildings also showing the amount of produced items being held within as they build up.

Great work on this game!

I quite enjoy this game and find myself coming back to it often. One request is the ability to upgrade storage buildings. As you ramp up production they become a bottleneck. They can’t handle multiple inputs to a single output efficiently. Also, I am assuming that you are working on having the boats be a necessary step in the supply chain, I’m looking forward to that. Thank you!

I have gotten a few ads it is calming and entertaining and people are just being overdramatic about the ads though they’re not that constant it’s still calming and it’s also fun to pass the time I may have not may have not played this game for an hour. It is awesome and I love this game and also to answer someone’s question what to do with the rocket once you fuel it, you go to another level. I’m not sure how many levels there are, but it’s fun.

Been playing this game for almost 3 weeks now and bought the no ads pack for seven dollars and no regrets. This game is addicting and some of the levels that you need to get some of the product to the Rockets makes you really think on which way you need the conveyor belts to go. Love this game and so worth the money to do the ad free. That way you only watch the ads you want to get extra money or gems. This game is a definite 10/10 recommend!!!

Pretty good game I gotta say and also you don’t have to watch ads in the middle of the game you only do that if you have to press buttons that have the ad logo on it also when I start of the game The basics were actually pretty easy and you noticed I’m still on Washington and unlocking region three soon and I got a second region pretty Solid overall and I noticed you can get coins by stumbling upon the map but it is game I gotta say that’s it for now

I can’t stop playing this. I genuinely have a problem. I don’t go outside and touch grass anymore I’m constantly on my phone and my friends and family are getting concerned. It is so addictive I think the game literally has drugs in it. I checked my screentime and I’ve already spent 7 hours and 30 minutes on this game just today. I’m literally not kidding. Help me.
