Good idea, needs improvement

This app is a good idea but forces you to use only their layouts and backgrounds. Unfortunately the designs and backgrounds are not that good. They need a graphic designer experienced in social media post design to create some real designs. The current ones on the app look seriously old and outdated unfortunately.
I tried doing solid colors and no matter what the words have are contained in a visible bubble. Get rid of the bubble around the words. We just need the the ability to put words on a background with no other design stuff around it.
Again, the app is a good idea but definitely needs improvement. Make it better and it can catch on. Study your competition and see what they are doing.
