All this software does is show a screenshot of a photo. It never worked. And I've been trying to cancel my account with no avail. They take my money each week and I can't cancel.
If your thinking of buying don't. It will keep stealing your money without giving an option to cancel.

Cannot pick an image. Images open but the previous window opens again when the desired image is clicked instead of the photo opening.
Tried to get Pictura to work for while. Only ever got error messages and full app crashes. Redownloaded several times, same results.

Developer shows images for iPhone, yet itβs only for iPad? Is the developer on drugs or something? Why lost it under iPhone and it doesnβt install?
Pictura is free on Pictura store, and will take up over 4 gb of space. Just to say you need to pay 5$ a week to actually save your upscaled photos, immediatly deleted. waste of my time.
I wish Pictura had more features to improve the photographs and not merely just upscale them. Things like exposure correction or sharpness would be helpful additions. The ability to enhance images in a few key areas could make Pictura more useful for editing pictures without having to use separate photo editing software. While upscaling is useful, additional tuning options would allow users to get pictures looking their best before sharing or printing. More image adjustment tools would benefit both amateur photographers looking for easy fixes as well as more advanced users.
When you pick different multiple pictures not all are uploaded. It could be the case that the same picture uploads twice. Weird
The performance is very slow, have to wait like 10 mins for a picture to be enhanced. Intel Mac
Compared to Gigapixel AI, this upscale tool is absolutely terrible. It doesn't make text crisp, faces become horrifying halloween masks, and it actually reduces detail more than it adds (and this is regardless of the upscaler model chosen).
It basically seems like they're using a simple sharpening algorithm rather than any sigificant AI contribution.
As a bonus, it seems to get the original image dimensions incorrect in the comparison mode. My original image was 140 pixels wide, but this tool said it was 256 (perhaps it's rounding up to the nearest base-2 exponent).
Seems to only do one, maybe two things - enhance single or bulk images. It is handy for quick upscaling on simple graphics; not always perfect, but it works when you need a quick sharpening of an image. 'Enhancing' often leaves an artificial 'AI' gloss to images. Sometimes looks good; other times, it starts warping images.
This is an awsome app. It did not get get my fifth star because it is not worth $30.00.
Magically doesnβt work for the iPhone now. They switched it over to iPad so I canβt update it on my iPhone
The is good there is nothing wrong with the quality at all itβs just that you only get 5 free saves. And considering the fact that I make profile pictures ima need to save more than 5 times.

Loved using Pictura quite often and gave it a 5 star rating. After the Sequoia 15 update Picture freezes up and makes all other apps unaccessable. This is the only app that the Sequoia update has affected. Hope there is a fix for this because I really like using Pictura.

Super fast on my M1 Max chip, since it works with Apple's neural engine. Tried a few sub-800px images and it upscaled the lines and art superbly. Worth a try for those looking to upscale lower resolution photo / art material.
Why is just on macβs and ipadβs after the latest update. Why not iphones ??

I was playing around with Pictura and couldn't see much difference between the before and after until I starting scaling up the images for printing. That's where you see the true magic of this tool.
