Moving in to another app or perhaps an actual noise machine. Putting the noises that I use for sleep behind a paywall with out notice is just wrong! Goodbye!!
This was a great app until recent updates (labeled as ”bug fixes” in the version history) moved many of the sounds, and the ability to play in the background/when the phone is locked, behind a $25/yr paywall, without warning. I’d have been happy to pay a few dollars to help the developer out but can’t fathom a subscription model, much less at that price, for a minimalist app that shouldn’t require much updating at all. Feels like a money grab. Uninstalling.
PinkNoiseGenerator was free and awesome but all of a sudden everything is behind a pay wall.
Now I can’t figure out how to get a refund.

PinkNoiseGenerator is $24.99. When downloaded it stated a trial period which I thought was 14 days. I cancelled around 7 but Apple had already charged and I can’t find anything stating the trial period. There’s zero response from the developer to my inquiries.
PinkNoiseGenerator did not work for me. I tried a lot of combinations. I did not get rest (lots of dreaming) with Pink or Brown noise. Basic rain sounds was more effective.
Why is PinkNoiseGenerator shutting down?
Love the different types of pink noise. It puts my daughter and I to sleep every night. Love that they’re free as well. What I hate is the annoying pop ups to either pay for the premium or write a review everytime I go to use PinkNoiseGenerator . Lay off!
The variety of color sounds provides something for every need. It’s the only sound app that consistently helps me fall asleep.
Outstanding app! Forest Nighttime would be more soothing if there weren’t heavy earth moving equipment noises in the background. I thought it was construction going on here in the neighborhood. Finally figured it out about 3:00 am.
Option of combing different sounds can give great results. I would rather have cat purring than barking dog
Have tried many sound apps, this is the most unique. Can combo many and save them.
