Two years and the still managed to screw it up. They forgot to add in the aim button when you use the manual shooting option. The only way you can aim freely is by shooting first. This is a huge embarrassment. There are so many mistakes they have to fix, including the microscopic buttons for iPad users, multiple graphic errors, as well as dead bodies disappearing too quickly.

Edit: they also need to fix multiple graphical issues, as well as add in anti-aliasing option. The game crashes far too much during specific sequences, such as gang warfare. There have also been a ton of issues that were prevalent in the old version of San Andreas that is still prevalent in this game. In this may be rushed since you said this game was going to be released five months ago on mobile devices, but come on, this is still extremely flawed.

Been a Rockstar fan for a while now with how far the this app series has come in the gaming franchise. Really disappointed though with this. I was hoping to enjoy san andres but the game is full with bugs. With the NPC’S going haywire to the map glitching and the game sometimes becomes jittery and even crashes. It’s not possible to enjoy the gameplay. It’s disappointing overall, Rockstar could of made this a lot better and I honestly don’t see a difference in terms of graphics that was promised with the Defenitive Edition. Personally I think Rockstar should of scrapped the idea of the Defenitive Series since all it did was bring bad reputation towards the company.

I love this app 5 on my Xbox and when o saw this on GTA Store I was thrilled i dowloaded it and when I opened GTA it made me download it the data I was fine with it and was watching tv while i waited it said once it hit like 70% 1 minute remaining I got excited and started to watch the download I got confused when it kept going down like it when from 78%-72% I was fine with it at first until it happened every time for like 15 minutes until I gave up on it I reset GTA and tried again it still wouldn’t work and the same issue happend fix your game!!!

Maybe it’s just me, but I like games I can actually play. Every time I enter, it crashes for some reason. Example: I go past the credits and into the game menu. This is where you hit play. But for me, it just crashes. I have a really good phone, so I know the problem isn’t on my side. I can only play it once and the next time I enter, it crashes. I literally have to uninstall and reinstall just to play the game. The only reason it’s 2 stars instead of one is because before this issue started, it was one of my favorite games. Now it’s just a big waste of time, effort and thought. Please fix this. I want to actually play this game. And stop making it crash randomly. I know this game was made in the early 2000’s, but updates exist for a reason.

The UI needs an accessibility pass. The minimap indicators are quite dull and desaturated, they need to really POP. I’m having a really hard time seeing where to go, telling the map elements apart from a tiny objective marker. The colors match the overall color palette of the game, which was cool on a tv. But on mobile the contrast and visibility needs to be taken more into account. (Can’t imagine trying to play this with any sort of glare or dim screen)

Overall so far it’s great for short sessions and the loading times are just a “bit” faster than ps2….

I’ll start of by saying this app SA is one of my all time favorite games, but this definitive port doesn’t give it the justice and appreciation it deserves. Below are a plethora of issues I’ve encountered:
- lag/poor graphics: i have a powerful iPhone, but I feel the graphic abilities don’t take advantage of its potential. There needs to be improved graphic settings.
-“Black Project” mission glitch: In this mission, there’s an error where near the end once CJ lands at the location, the game freezes. I’ve reloaded my save file manually, retried the mission, but nothing bypasses this issue, thus making it impossible to complete. PLEASE FIX ASAP!
-Rockstar accounts: While I know this is a Netflix-required game, I think there should also be an option where we can login to our rockstar accounts and save through that cloud instead of/in addition to the Netflix cloud.
-No achievements: this edition doesn’t have achievements, which takes away from the motivation to hustle for 100%. Console and PC include achievements, mobile deserves them too and I’m struggling to comprehend why this wasn’t implemented initially.

To conclude, the developers need to fine-tune this mobile port as there are many issues that take away from the user experience, please update asap so it’s a more enjoyable gameplay for me and everyone else who’ve spent our hard-earned money for this lackluster product. Thanks.

The game goes perfectly with the full graphics and 60 fps. But for some reason the game just turn the resolution down by it self after playing a couple minutes and is something that I hate because it doesn’t feel the same. With the resolution low. And is weird because it happens even if the settings is in full. And the game doesn’t need to turn them down because doesn’t lag or have down fps. Hope it get fix soon. Because that’s the only reason I don’t play anymore.

The game is pretty good the only downfall is that when it first opens it crashes. It takes a couple clicks on GTA for it to actually fully load and start game at least for me. One time it crashed and didn’t save the progress so I had to go back and redo about 5 missions. The graphics are decent being that it is mobile. Adjusting the camera can be annoying and a little bit difficult in missions where you need to drive or shoot. I would say so far the hardest missions have been with OG LOC or Big Smoke 😂

I’m on a 15 Pro Max, whatever latest iOS. And game runs great right up until you capture 2+ sections of gang area. And than it starts chugging, I’ve captured about half the baller section at the start just to test it and ya it’s a stutter mess. It’s kind of playable but even in missions you’ll be stuck with everything stuttering, animations, npc spawns, etc. it’s pretty annoying. I guess just don’t do the gang stuff and maybe performance maintains itself.

As a fan of the original game, I do not mind condensed version, but I have a few complaints. My first complaint is that I do not like playing an FPS 60. It’s too slow in the graphics. Do not work well or hold up to the modern phone standards. My second complaint is that the game constantly shut down and stop working when you tried to save after getting to a certain point. Three I don’t like the lack of options when it comes to controlling the contrast and brightness and other settings of the games, I want to be able to enjoy my favorite this app game and not have to deal with the offset concentration. Overall, the game is pretty good, but needs work a lot of work before it will be great.

Apart from the various bugs and glitches in the game, it runs poorly on my iPad mini 6 for no reason. I have an iPhone XS and it runs and looks better on that device. The game is choppy and jagged on my mini compared to the iPhone which has lead me to believe that it was not optimized for this device AT ALL. It still is playable but really is unacceptable. Please fix. Will update when I notice a change.

This is for people who just wanna make sure the game is OK before they download it so basically the game is good the graphics are good. You can use cheat codes whatever but what I don’t like about the game is how it’s hard for you to turn the camera which makes most missions like the last mission with sweet very hard. It’s impossible to turn the camera and it takes about 700 trust finish one mission, please fix

On the second OG Loc mission to steal the sound system, the game crashes every time you head over the bridge to go to the beach party in the exact spot. Ive tried to to alternative routes and it still crashes. Not sure why, other than that I love the game so far.

I also experienced a save issue while going through the flight school. Unlike the drive school I have to leave out and save each lesson, if not you have to start over from square one every time you leave.

They call it “Definitive”, but maybe defective is more accurate. The game is fun, but it’s buggy. I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 17.4.1, I should not be having problems. On the mission where CJ and Ryder breaking into the National Guard warehouses, CJ has to shoot a control box on a wall to open the gate. The box was there for my first few attempts. Then one time I decided to shoot the guard through the gate rather than climbing over the wall first. That made the control box disappear. No matter how many times I try to quit the game and restart it, the box is gone so there’s no way to open the gate. That means there’s no way to do the mission. At least it’s not Vice City. Vice City completely crashed my iPhone and I had to do a reset to recover it.

The game startup screen is buggy and crashes before the loading screen. When I do load in the graphics are blurry and barely playable. It needs some improvement.

This remaster was a complete disaster, but atleast 2 or 3 things right, like some new textures, lighting, and graphics. Other than that. You should get it because its free. While playing sometimes i get sudden crashes and thats it. Just go play the PS2 version or the classic version of this app sa mobile that costs 6.99 dollars

Try to make it look a bit more realistic (aka bigger graphic bar to make it look better)but through and through this game has barely any bugs and is very much like the older games good job on the character models and please make CJ’s arms look smoother I don’t know if it was just me but I feel like it was throwing me off the whole game I would share this game to my friends in fact I already have 9/10 I would recommend more.

So far only the sound hasn’t been working even tho that could just be me

The Crash mission “ Burning Desire”, where you have to set the houses on fire glitches, and the girl gets stuck between the door. I’ve watched the original gameplay and the door blows off completely. The game is a decent transition to mobile, however this mission is critical to progress in the game. This problem will become more relevant as more people get to this mission, leaving me to believe that there are other bugs in the game that will hinder progress

I downloaded day of realease I’ve only been playing for a bit but I can tell this game is a masterpiece (I’ve played on console before)the only problem I have is the controls. Now I understand d it’s a mobile game but still could be slightly better.

The game is great comparing to the consuls versions, if you have a up to date phone that is from the past few years it will run smoothly.
It will not blow you out of the water but the quality is better and smooth I still like to have both the OG and definitive edition available for that each have their own mood.
The controls are yet to be enhanced but does the job for being just released

But seriously yall better keep both versions available new and og

I’ll give it 5 star if they fix the resolution bug that keeps resetting resolution every time I start the game. Also smalls things like the patch on a cops uniform or the word San Andreas and muddy texture, where as on console it’s crystal, they need to fix that, I know most phones can handle it, I think more graphics settings should be customizable to give a better range for games, because it feels like my 15 pro max has plenty of head room to turn it up a notch on the graphics, maybe some better textures, higher resolution, better reflection, and 60fps, give us enough options that even if our phones can max it out, the phones of tomorrow will, like iPhone 16 or 17, with all these console games coming out, I want tons of settings to play with and to know if my current phone can’t max the graphics maybe my next phone will, if not even then, at least get more and more out of it as the years go on

I’m on the “area 69” mission. I’m at the very end where you get the jet pack and escape the lab. When I finally reach my destination where your supposed to meet that hippy dude it freezes and doesn’t continue with the story line. I restarted the game and it send me back to the check point of the mission and I reach the destination and it continues to do the same thing. What can I do to fix this issue? Other than that issue the game has been great!

The picture performance is indeed greatly improved, but it feels only 30 frames, and the resolution is very low, the picture is very fuzzy, my device is iPhone15pro, I hope to make improvements in the future. 1. Increase the resolution.2.60 frames.

It’s nice that I don’t have to spend money to buy the mobile version of San Andreas and I can just get it from Netflix but some of the stuff isn’t the same but I didn’t really mind it like the weapon wheel is like the this app 5 wheel but that’s the only thing that is different otherwise it is a really fun game.

The game is good but I feel like it has no feel of remastered because the houses and buildings look like the old version so maybe y’all can update these games for them to look fully remastered plzzz thank you

This port is actually in some ways a better version of the definitive edition- it includes classic sky textures that make it more true to the PS2 classic.

But it also has a few bugs that make it tough to play - for starters it has some major crash issues - I get crashes almost every play session ran across various newer phones and tablets - this needs to be addressed.

Menu settings also are somewhat bugged - I’ve noticed various settings applied don’t actually save across play sessions meaning you have to reapply the same settings either time (for me being with the control settings as I wanted to try out the modern control scheme)

Other than some pop-in and the crashes and small bugs - this is an impressive port and I love what Netflix is doing with this service - here’s hoping they expand to other systems.

When I was playing the only thing I found that bother me was when I was driving fast somehow the graphics downgrade & it stayed like that. But once you change the graphics settings it got fix.

I’m playing this app Trilogy via my iPhone 11 Pro Max in maximum settings.
The games are mostly playable but there is still some glitches and lag overall.
I hope the developers will improve the performance to lower the glitches and lag.

Runs better than ps5/series x.
Brings me back to high school when it first released, will always be my go to game.
Would give 5 stars but I have one minor glitch right now, app resets resolution to default every time I close it out. Resulting in a very blurry image. I have to ramp it up every time I boot it up. Other than that, no real complaints. Best version yet.

Every time i close the game and open it again i have to set the resolution to highest point again and it's not that high anyway it should be sharper.
The shadows of vehicles have some problems and they appear when you get close to a vehicle.
The last thing is that this game has should have a modern shooting system but unlike this app III It doesn't have aim assist only classic and free aim which is not what i want from one of my favorite games remastered version in 2023.

I’ve always loved this app San Andreas and now that the remaster is on iOS, I can be playing this now even on my phone. I’ve always loved Rockstar but I’m still waiting for the this app 4 port to mobile, if it’s even possible. Even a port of ps4, ps5, or XBox would be nice.

Two issues I’ve been noticing is whenever I start up the game the resolution is always back at the default setting and sometimes while walking the camera turns upwards because it’s getting confused with the joystick, also one more thing that I don’t know if it’s an issue or meant to be but you can’t jump out of moving vehicles so if your car is on fire you cannot escape the blast

I've only played a little bit and i love it. it has some muddy graphics but I LOVE IT! it is so enjoyable the only problem is glitches. some glitches can occur throughout the game and it's pretty unpredictable. also the game crashes quite often. it is still worth it for a free this app game but I recommend spending 7 bucks on the real deal. the real game still has some glitches but it has much better graphics and it doesn't crash as much. Out of the 2, get it remastered on console if you have one. If you don't spend 7 on the real one. STILL AN AMAZING GAME!!

This game is simply excellent. It exactly as I remember playing with my dad on ps2. I love it. However, the game is so big and complicated, it does a number on the phone’s battery when playing it. I’m aware that there’s not really anything that can be done about it, so I’m content with how it is and I highly recommend it.

I give this game 4 stars cause how good it is but something it can cause laggines and it can also be hot for my phone the best part about the game is you can connect your controller just put your controller to your phone whit Bluetooth and you can play better such a hood game and stuff also make you’re you don’t get six stars also I gotta go gotta lose my wanted level down there so after all I give the game four wanted stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First of all, I wanna start off by thanking Netflix for this amazing experience, I finally get to play this app even though I’m in the younger generation and most of my generation plays this app 5 I finally got a relive what the old generation is talking about. And thanks for fixing all the bugs. love the game. I’m pretty sure there’s still no achievements in the game which is sad but I’m still loving everything else. There’s zero glitches now, the stories are fun and engaging, the gameplay is fantastic The UI is amazing and I just want to thank you for everything. Oh and one last thing can’t forget the graphics I’m playing on half graphics because I don’t have a powerful phone but the game still looks amazing especially at night time, they did an amazing job upgrading the graphics while still keeping them true to the old game

by the way if you add achievements that would be amazing and really add to the experience of the game, here’s some you can do if you don’t wanna just add the original achievements from the Ps2. activating all cheats, completing the game, getting hundred percent gang territory,recruiting 1000 gang members, getting Max gun skill on all weapons.

Overall I just wanna thank you one more time. You’re the best Netflix and I’ll definitely remember to renew my subscription with you.

I was a bit skeptical at first (I am sure along with many others) when I heard the this app Trilogy Definitive Edition was getting a mobile port onto Netflix. I mean, the original basis of this “Definitive Edition” was built off of poorly optimized mobile ports. However, when I played this, I was pleasantly surprised how much better it is from the PC/console versions! It actually feels like a “Definitive Edition“ now. From numerous bug fixes to the addition of “classic lighting,” it is a HUGE improvement!
Honestly, the only things that would make this trilogy truly amazing is remaining bug fixes, bringing back the cut music from the original games, and fixing the rest of the poor character models and textures!
But other than that, great job Netflix (aka Video Game Deluxe)! And keep at it! Continue to pick up where Rockstar and Gtove Street Games left off to make this Definitive Edition THE Definitive Edition!

I know you guys have a dirty taste in your mouth because of the consul and PC version was bad but actually the mobile version fixed a lot of the issues and it looks a whole lot better so big props to the third-party company for fixing what Grove Street games couldn’t and I do wish you guys in the futureto continue to update the game and maybe look towards updating console ports and PC ports

Over all this game is great and it runs well just there are minor bugs and crashes
I’m hoping they will be fixed sometime in the future
Plus note: bugs/glitches: while getting into a car can’t change the view in vehicle’s and will force u too be looking at the front of the car

There are definitely some issues with this version of the game. For starters, there are some significant differences between this version, and the other mobile version. This version crashes a lot, and as somebody with an iPhone 14 Pro Max, that is not acceptable. There simply isn't a reason for GTA to crash on launch. Do you guys even test the apps before you ship them?

Another thing that the mobile version has is the ability to auto aim when shooting cops. This remaster has it, but it's so much worse than in the other mobile version because you can't choose whether to do a headshot or a body-shot. Part of what made the mobile version fun is that you can just point at a Ballas head and watch him explode into a million pieces (Grove4L!!) but it's a bit harder on this version.

Another thing that's buggy is the autosave. Like when I close GTA , I expect to be put into the exact same scenario when I reload the game. Sometimes this happens, sometimes I'm just placed at the last safehouse, or at the last checkpoint of the last mission I was playing. This is really frustrating because I alreafy completed that mission and I don't want to play it again. So then CJ has to be taken to a save house, which defeats the whole purpose of autosave.

I could go on, but there's a lot of buggy features in GTA and I want to wait until the Developer response before I submit more.

GTA is almost 8 Gigabytes (it's 2 GB but there is a 6 GB update that you have to install) But other than that, GTA is a 10/10. It's a whole recreation of this app San Andreas, so if you're feeling nostalgic and want to go back to grove street, than look forward to this!

Being able to play the trilogy of games you grew up on as well as watching your favorite shows on just a subscription? That’s awesome, I don’t even care if the graphics are updated or anything, it’s awesome either way

I like that they now have this app on Netflix I feel this was a good collab because now I can play the this app games without having to buy which is a plus and also if you are wondering it’s still the same game.

Wow. Blown away. Rockstar and Take Two impressed with the release of the iOS definitive editions. If you want great nostalgia with smooth and beautiful updated graphics your in for a treat. This’ll keep me occupied until this app 6 in 2025!!

Graphics are top notch.. Feelz like I’m watching my brother play SA on the ps2 back in the day( nostalgia Vibez not the graphics).. it works completely fine with the backbone controller.. my only issue with the game is at random moments while I’m driving (any vehicle: including bicycles) the vehicle will stop while I’m pressing the acceleration button (RT on the back bone) then I’ll have to tap the trigger multiple times for the vehicle to move.. other than this one problem I believe this version of this app SA is perfect for the movement of mobile gaming.. I am currently playing on the iPhone 11 (standard) device and I should be upgrading soon to the 14 pro.. until then I will continue to relive the tale of CJ and updated you on another review after I upgrade.. if you have the same issue please speak up so we can work together in finding a solution🙏🏽

It’s a very good game it does crash sometimes but overall it’s a very good game. My issue is that whenever I’m driving a car or bike it’s always in first person and I don’t see any options to fix it, but at the start of the game it was in third person which is really weird why it’s now in first person and it’s much harder to do chase missions because I don’t have much, I hope someone can help me.

This is such a good mobile port for the definitive edition I cannot believe how good it is. The fact that they brought back the classic lighting from the original game is honestly the best thing about this port.

The only other problem is that I accidentally turned on First Person mode in the car and I don’t know how to turn it off so I’m stuck with it. But overall it’s the best.

"SA" is one of the most influential works in the this app , with its overall platform sales ranking second in the this app series, second only to GTA5. Although its definitive edition effect is not very good, considering that the official platform has made up for its shortcomings and ported the mobile version, let's give it a 5-star rating. I hope that the GTA6 can show us progress on the official Weibo account!

These game originally define what the PS2 can handle. As well as being edgy and controversial due to its depiction of Criminal Life. The Trilogy spans from Liberty City (III), Vice City, and San Andreas.

These Games are rated M for a reason. They don’t hold back on the violence and Car Stealing.

The Netflix Apps of the games seem to run better than the PS5 or PC Ports. Hope this Netflix update can translate on to Consoles soon.

This is amazing,I was blown away by how this looks better than on pc and every other console,it plays well too,the only problem that I noticed is that cheats don’t work even if i put them in correctly.

The games great it’s really fun but I don’t like the first person driving and was trying to figure out how to take it off but I seem to not be able too if anyone has a solution to this please help

This game is really good and is a really nice port of the original game though it has some camera issues when i try to drive a car it zooms out and zooms back in but otherwise its a pretty good port

These games are one of the most classical games of all time I love the way they play I love the way the action is, I love playing these games definitely one of my favorite games of all time. And their all definitive the best kind you can play

I was so excited for the game, and it was actually really good and full mobile game. This is probably the best one they got I was not expecting for we mastered to come out on mobile and I’m just so excited and it was a really fun game but if you want to play it and you don’t have a Netflix account you can’t play it so sign up for Netflix account if you wanna play it but it was really fun

Haven’t began to play the game due to no audio of dialog or any sort of audio whatsoever. Is this a glitch with my app maybe? Anyone else have this problem?

Rockstar games added some enhancements to the mobile version such as Classic Color Filter which gives the game the atmosphere from PS2 that was missing during launch. Seems to play very good on iPhone 13 Pro. Free to play with Netflix is great!
