I don’t really understand how AutoBPM is even shipping. It doesn’t seem to correctly categorize even a basic steady finger click or single note played on an instrument. The visual feedback shows it’s “hearing” it correctly but the BPM is just way higher.
The custom BPM range slider doesn’t make sense to me—not even sure what it is representing.
AutoBPM can’t read a bpm of anything. It jumps up and down from one extreme to the other. 106 to 167 for example. I made a simple 4 to the floor kick set at 130bpm and AutoBPM said was 101 or 191 completely useless.
As a spin instructor, this is LIFE CHANGING! How have I just discovered AutoBPM?? For all of my sound cloud tracks that I download for my spin classes… I have been manually TAPPING on an app and guessing the average bpm. This is incredible.
I think this should probably be at the top of the list of music apps. This actually works and isn't a rip off like other bpm meter apps.
AutoBPM is precise, and it works just stuff that says, but the best part is that it’s free future that other apps charge for and are not as good as AutoBPM.
