First of all my cat kept meowing and it kept saying rude things on the app like saying I hate you stop it kept repeating that when my cat was meowing, and then my cat was saying some other stuff and it kept repeating that so then I started making my own cat noises and I was making him different ways of meowing and it kept repeating the same stuff so this game makes you think that you’re talking to your own cat but it’s a total scam for it and do not get this app. I regret it a lot.

When I speak into the translator, I said I love you, but all the noise comes out is mad cat noise like angry in the Cat Translator keeps hating me for some reason, so I don’t think this is the app for me. Also, I think the other reviews is bot except for the other one who put a one star

Obviously there isn’t a way to literally translate human language for cats and vice versa, but I thought this might be a cute app that uses AI or something. It’s not even that. It’s just a soundboard with about 6-7 cat sounds, some of which are used multiple times. The “translate” feature claims that it is recording your voice but what it’s really doing is just taking one of preset sounds in the app and slapping it over your “recording”. It comes with a 3 day trial but it’s very obvious this is designed to get you to try it for free and then forget about your subscription so that you pay for additional weeks—as it does charge by the week.
There is legitimately 0 reason for this app to be paywalled because it’s just a disguised soundboard app with 0 value.
This kind of garbage doesn’t belong on the App Store.
