Decent app but still growing pains

I enjoy the other apps by this company, but this one doesn’t feel like it’s gotten all the kinks worked out yet. For example, on Gossip Harbor the things you have to build will range from high level/longer builds to fairly quick, so you’re always meeting goals while also working on longer term goals. They are also well spread out across the different things that produce. But this one often has just 3 goals you’re working on and they all are very high level items and it feels like a grind to get to them. They also don’t spread out what produces the items you’re working for, so most of the things I haven’t had to merge in a long time. The daily challenge goals to earn coins (earn $x in a day) are so out of reach of what’s possible that there’s no point in trying. In Gossip Harbor the daily goals are all feasible.

I don’t know if they don’t have enough levels yet, so they’re trying to slow us down, or if they haven’t figured out how to program it to give a decent variation of goals. But I’m finding that it’s more frustrating than fun. Which is a shame, because they do a good job with the graphics and story.

Near impossible game play at level 31

You get less and less requests/orders as you progress. The tasks keep getting more difficult but the rewards keep giving less which makes no sense. I don’t mind there being difficult orders where it takes weeks of playing to finish but there’s no fillers/simple orders where you can complete for the day to keep you interested. Daily task is impossible, for example, 10k gold a day? I can’t even get that now because a lot of the orders now pays no gold, just building tools. There’s marge games out there I played for a couple years and I got stuck a few times but there are still things to do. This game, I’m just stuck and even if I pay to progress, it will cost a lot. I know the end goal is to people to pay but this money hungry move just make me wanna give up. It should be pay to progress faster, not pay just to progress.
I’ve been playing this for a couple months religiously and paid quite a bit into the game but this ain’t it. There’s no enjoyment anymore, which is sad because I love the designs and gameplay until I’m forced to pay.
I give up on this game.

Pretty fun game

I’m a huge fan of this game and the other games by the same developers. Something I’ve noticed though in this game is that it costs a lot to advance in the story after getting to a certain point. Something that I think about is that many other games that follow this format have small free things everyday, and the different types of merge games by the same developers also have everyday free chests/items to give the games a little boost. It’s the only merge game I’ve played that doesn’t offer a little free chest/item everyday and it does make me a little sad because I’d love to have something for playing it multiple days.

Also I noticed that the reward for completing three tasks everyday went away as soon as I hit a level to where I got the limited time gameplays and that does make me a little sad as I was able to consider that an everyday playing reward. Overall I enjoy the game, it’s a pretty good merge game but I do wish for motivation to return to it day after day.

Really enjoying the game

I knew it would be better than most other merge games since it’s the same company as gossip harbor (put so many hours into that game) but can tell they are still working a few kinks out. Since playing there have been a good amount of bug and gameplay fixes; more orders available, a good continuous stream of events, and a background audio bug they jumped on really fast. Only thing I’ve noticed recently is my past 2 fully upgraded vases aren’t really giving me any gems, I get a bunch of gold and a max of 4 total diamonds when collected; just seems like a pain to work on getting a max vase for the reward to not be there. Also would be nice to have a free collect daily; like a vase or energy to look forward to. Other than that great game and have really enjoyed it so far, can’t wait to see what the developers continue to do with it.

Meh

I consistently play this and gossip harbor on a daily basis. I have been able to level up on GH as time goes on, yet with this game there’s no way to earn energy by watching an ad or a daily gift like there is on GH. Also there’s only 3 orders that are ridiculously hard presented at a time, truly frustrating and feels like you’re just treading water…I’m truly ready to delete, I’m only at level 36 and have played since the first day this game came out… make it a little easier to gain energy!! Thank you!

Update: I’ve continued to play and sticking with it because this isn’t a bad game, however….there is so many dang generators that there’s barely room to merge, I can only work on one order at a time because there isn’t room to even attempt to work on two at a time. Please remove the generators that aren’t being used past a certain level or option to delete, thank you!!

Love the idea, but…

Another reviewer said “easy to level up.“ Hmm, no. initially, yes, very quickly you can merge things and get the coins and gems and everything you need to press grass in the storyline. HOWEVER, After a while, you get these outrageous, customer requests that take days to build energy and merge enough to fill their requests.

There is also an item that produces things that can’t be merged, you can’t delete them, And you have to use up 5 to 7 points of energy just to get them off the board and they give you one coin.

Of course, you can spend real money to get more energy and more coins and more gems to be able to do this all quicker, but that can really add up to being very expensive. I’m all for supporting game developers with an occasional purchase, but not to the point this game requires to progress in a reasonable amount of time.

A bit slow, but still good!

I genuinely love this game (and yes, that might partially have to do with the fact that the main character shares my name).
The art style and graphics are appealing, and really fit the vibes of the game.
The story is cute, but also isn’t really needed to still enjoy the game. I definitely recommend reading it though.
The progression is relatively linear and tasks are not ridiculously complicated, however energy can be a bit of a setback.
Like Merge Mansion, you cannot watch ads in game to get free energy, which makes waiting for energy a bit more tedious. Also, the base price of 20 diamonds for an energy refill is a high in my opinion, and I think it would be much easier if it was 10 diamonds for the first refill of the day.
Overall, however, it’s still incredibly fun. I spend more time playing than I would like to admit. Its slower pacing can be frustrating at times to impatient players (no judgement here, I’m one of those impatient players!) but it’s fulfilling to complete a task.
Good job, dev team!

Love game, few improvements needed

I love this game and following the story!! Easy to get into because you level up quick in beginning. I appreciate there’s no ads but would like the opt in option to watch an ad for x amount of energy or an energy chest free with ad once daily. I wish the spawn rates were improved for some of the items particularly register and shower caddy. Hard to advance when you spend nearly 100 energy to get two of the level one beads when you have to make level 5+ items consistently. Also wish there was an option to extend events!! I missed completing Thalias water park by one item. I’m happy to support smaller creators paying the fees and find pricing very reasonable for bonus packs

Great…But

I love playing the game. I never make purchases on apps but I have purchased off SeasideEscape…several times. This game is actually a 5 star game but the major problem I have is what’s with all the coins that you don’t get to use? Why can’t we purchase items with coins? There’s no boost to purchase with coins. Everything is gems & those gems aren’t easy to come by. They don’t add up. This is a game a person could play for hours but it gets cut down because of energy. Plus you charge too much for energy refills. It’s almost as if you want to limit what we do. I don’t like this & eventually I will stop playing this game because you’re not being fair to none of the users of this game. Forcing users to purchase isn’t a good way to get good reviews!

Great Merge game!!!!!

I play a lot of merge games and I’ve have to say Seaside Escape has to be my favorite but I do have a couple issues. One is the the storage area, you have to use diamonds to increase the space why can’t it be coins or at least be a little amount of diamonds? Second there’s gotta be other ways to increase the energy without having to use diamonds, everything cost diamonds which I understand that we get free ones when we merge to new items but before we get to the higher items we run out of energy. I do recommend this merge game to everyone who like/loves merge games this one is one of the best. I’d give it 5 stars if the energy/ diamonds would change maybe a daily spin? Or daily bonus?

By

Love this game however…

I’d like to see a free energy recharge every day. All the merge games I play give u something free just for visiting that day. The energy should be 10 gems to fill the first time then 20 then 30. You should balance out the very difficult tasks with some easy ones so we can meet the requirements of the special events. I can’t get 5 customers orders done in a day at the level I’m at. I love the story and the characters that’s my favorite part! It’s a super fun merge game but I see myself not playing it much longer because of the above reasons.

How on earth do I even get a petal duo? Wish the game told you were to get things from? There are no instructions at all and no help on the internet either.

By

Save your money, don’t waste your time.

This is a recharge game cheating the player's psychology. Early game is fun. Like a chess piece, you need two identical pieces to make a new chess piece. Then complete the mission to receive gold coin rewards and building material packs. Upgrade according to game missions. Slowly you will find that the energy it provides is not enough for you to complete a mission. It takes 2 minutes to get an energy. This also means that it is impossible for you to complete the mission, and you need to recharge and buy their diamonds to continue. And it will constantly remind you of buy discounted packages. Until level 35, you find that even if you recharge over $20 a day, you still can not complete a mission. I feel this game is most like a trap for players. Don't waste your time and money, try other games it’s get more fun. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Should be Recognized

This game is SO awesome! The story is great. The characters are awesome. I can’t think of anything wrong with this game AT ALL! I feel like this game is not as recognized as it should be. I mean realistically the only thing that could be wrong is if you don’t like to wait to do things in a game then you might not want to download this. But if you’re ok with being patient then this game has it all. It has great characters, graphics, and story. You don’t have to pay for anything if you don’t want to, the game is that easy! In conclusion, I love this game and I HIGHLY recommend! ❤️

By

The wait…

Let me start by saying this game is a great time killer. I’m a full time college student so sometimes I look for a little brain break. I like to lean to this game but I get a good 5-10 minutes before I’m out of energy. The chances of winning energy is difficult, usually requiring more than 100 energy to accumulate. There are no free options to “earn” or for better terms, trade, our time for energy. I would like to be able to continue playing this game, make advances to higher levels, but the wait to accumulate energy is pretty long for a game that’s just about merging objects. Like I said, it’s a fun time killer- but once you get to a certain point it’s easy to forget about because you’re always waiting for energy. Just my opinion!

By

Fun but needs improvement

I like the simplicity of the game. It’s a fun game to spend a few minutes on. A couple suggestions to make it more enjoyable, as you go up in levels, the board becomes excessively full. It would be nice if you got more storage as you went up levels. Or a new board when it gets to a certain level. The simple pot takes 5 energy points then throws out a leaf or bottle that you need to use energy to remove. Seems like a waste.

You can only really play for about 15 minutes until you run out of energy. It’s fun for those minutes but without some areas to move stuff, it will not be as enjoyable.

Wasted energy on planter beads level 33

I really like this game in the beginning. It felt very different than the other merge games. However, reaching level 33 the planter beads require almost 7 energy points to produce a level one item. My question to the developer is what is the rationale for needing to use seven energy points to produce an item? The fact that some of the equipment for example, the food processor requires several points to get the lemons in order to make drinks. In my eyes, that’s a bit more understandable than requiring multiple points to not have any results at all or those that enjoy the apps I wonder if they’ve reached this level or not. Looking forward to your response.

PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THIS GAME

I am a long time player of one of their other similar merge games, Gossip Harbor, and while I love that game, events always seem unattainable, and I make little progress in the story because it takes so many coins and the customer requests are so elaborate! In this game, they so far have made events attainable without spending a lot of money on in app purchases, while also having the ability to make progress in the main story due to the multiple storylines with characters. PLEASE don’t change this game or make it worse. You’re nailing it so far.

Found by Accident = Happy Error

I’ve downloaded so many merge games. This one takes the cake! You don’t have to replenish your energy every ten minutes, items, goals and levels are more than achievable, and above all, I’m not bombarded by ads every 10 seconds. Plus, the story line is a nice little twist! Definitely got my vote. In fact, I’ve now deleted nearly all of merge games as I was so entranced by this one, additional entertainment was no longer necessary.

By

Waste of time

I have a handful of other merge games I play. This game looks like it could be fun. However, I played for about 5-10 minutes before I ran out of moves that I would have to use gems to refill (no refills with watching ads). The game wastes your energy. At one point I had a bag that gave both sunglasses and earrings- I had an order for earrings that would’ve needed 8 of the base earring. I went through over 125 taps on the bag just to get 2! Sunglasses galore. At that point it had drained my energy and I would’ve had to pay to get gems (you only get 20 at the start) to get more. The only highlight I have for the game is that it didn’t make you sit through the tutorials and story - you could skip through those easily.

Too hard without spending $$

I’m not one to review but this game gets boring and frustrating at higher levels unless you spend a lot of money to buy diamonds. It becomes very hard to fill customer orders because it’s all the “odd” or not main items that cover the board. (If that makes sense) Lemons are hard to come by. Paint brushes are hard to come by. And its always some fancy lemonade drink or easel that is needed to complete orders!! Not to mention how much energy olives and wreaths take!! Why so much?? It is taking me days and days to fill one order without spending money on this game. I’m deleting today. It’s become impossible and boring. FYI-I’m on level 43 and can’t complete orders for more tool boxes. Completely stalled.

Favorite Merge Game

Love this game so much! I've played plenty of merge games in the last few months, but by far I've played this one the longest. I love the relaxed atmosphere, the story, the characters, and the art. I've never found it boring, whereas most other merge games I end up deleting because it either became too frustrating or too dull. This one always has plenty of events, and is just so chill. It's also great to see some LGBTQ+ representation (Mia & Emilie) in a Chinese game, a culture where queerness is still more taboo. Also love the diversity in the cast, it's very well rounded and cute in general. Love the little stories and the close-knit family dynamic they all have. Can't say enough about this game! Criminally underrated

Engaging and cheerful

A good game to play when recovering from a long illness. No intrusive adverts!! The story of the movie star from the ads for this game only covers the introduction to explain how Rowan came to the island. I’m only on level 18, so maybe it will feature more prominently later. Instead, the focus is on restoring old family and friend relationships while restoring various buildings and structures on the island by matching icons. there’s enough to do to keep your engaged for a little while. You can spend money to advance faster, but you’ll still progress without in-app purchases. I’ve only played for a few days, so that could change. So far, it’s a treat. I’ve also enjoyed the diversity of the secondary characters and am looking forward to more in the story line about preserving ancient history by restoring tourist attractions before a corporate resort firm buts out the residents. (You can ignore the plot and still play the game, but I especially like the storytelling!) Have fun!

Great! For the first 20 levels…

I always wait on writing a review until I’ve been playing a while, specifically because of games like this. I’m now at level 39, and the game progress has slowed ASTRONOMICALLY. I’ve been grinding on the same 5 tasks for weeks, I don’t even know the last time I leveled up. I never ever even attempt to make daily “challenges” anymore, they are literally impossible to meet without spending money (you want us to spend daily? really?). The amount of energy offered in exchange for watching ads is frankly insulting to players’ time, if you’re offered an ad at all. I haven’t engaged with the bingo event in who knows how long - who has the energy to spare? I don’t look at progress with collector cards feature, I’ve literally never collected a single set and I’ve been playing longer than it’s been a feature in the game. Buy energy with gems? Good luck, gem tiles are extremely rare and you have to trade in a max level gem tile to afford a single energy box, and a refill to max energy costs nearly as much. The art is very cute and polished-looking and the nicest thing I can say about the game, however the game is not a novel concept so idk what they’re banking on here. This developer is so unbelievable stingy - great game if you plan on ditching it after the initial rush of progress.

One of the Best

This is a great game. You can pick it up and play for a couple of minutes or a couple of hours. When you come back to play it, it’s the same as when you left only with more energy😉. There are the story lines about the businesses that you can follow, the wonderfully illustrated pieces that you are trying to merge and the backstories of the customers that you are trying to merge and create items for. Also, there are mini-games where you have one day or several to earn extra jewels, coins, and energy. Of course it is possible to purchase (for real money) more energy, etc., but you honestly don’t have to buy anything to play the game AND enjoy it!😁
AND NO ADS!🎉

By

Perfect if you like this type of game

I keep thinking that I should write them a review & am finally getting around to it. Microfun knows how to make a game. The graphics are very well done & there are zero ads. Zero. Not even an option. In-game purchases are more expensive than other games, likely due to the lack of ads, but are completely unnecessary. I’ve bought a couple to have a bit more play time, really just to give the developers money because they deserve it.

I even rather like the storyline. I usually skip that kind of stuff, but this one is interesting to me. Another one that they made called Gossip Harbor isn’t nearly as engaging of a story for me, but other people might like it & the graphics and play style are every bit as quality as this one.

They have at least two 3D versions that have more of the building aspect that some people like. I play Merge Fables. Quality graphics again on these; those ones have infrequent optional ads, but they are also completely unnecessary.

Fun at first but….

This game is so fun at first but at a certain point you won’t be able to fulfill any orders for days because it’s sooo tedious. I don’t mind the tasks being hard but this is ridiculous. I’m on level 38 so I’ve been playing a while but the only thing to do is merge so if you run out of energy that’s it, a waiting game. I personally don’t spend any money on games like these and this game is designed for you to get frustrated and spend the money constantly. As you progress you will only get hard orders that don’t rlly give you anything in return, for instance 1 order can sometimes take 200 pieces of energy and only give out 2 building boxes which in turn will only give you two tools (if you’re lucky)that you have to wait to use. It takes any where from 3-5pieces of each tool to go with the story because to progress in the story you must build and I don’t even follow the story!! So as I progress the game is becoming unappealing and I definitely won’t be spending money to gain energy because it’ll just be a waste! I’ve been playing for a while and waited to give my review but this is the gist, they start you off slow and free but as you level up you’ll be on an order for a while if you don’t spend money. Even with spending money you’ll just be throwing it away cause again it’s so tedious and the merging takes forever when it’s a higher level item which it usually is as u progress. Honestly about to say goodbye to this game because it’s just not worth it

By

At first it was great

I loved this at first even spending money on it. However, a game isn’t fun if it goes no where- no end in sight. You want us to click these objects up to 4 times (using 4 times the energy mind you) and your out of energy before you know it. If it needs a specific item it constantly gives me other stuff. Why play a game if there’s no chance to win or progress? It becomes boring. I use to come to this game several times a day- as I said I’ve spent money on it but now it’s not even a minute before I’m out of energy with nothing to show for it. Boring. If I don’t progress soon in this game I’m deleting. Who wants to get on an app to waste all the energy within 1 minute? That’s boring. Do better to keep us entertained at least.

A Love Letter to the Simpler Things

This game isn’t meant to captivate your every waking moment. This game is to make you smile or chuckle or remember a sweet nostalgic event from your past. If you follow the story line you are taken to the characters’ own little slice of the world and are immersed in its culture and warmth (and if you’re missing Turkish/Greek relatives like I am, it really plays to the nostalgia). At the same time, the way that the game is structured (being a merge-based game), there’s a semblance of feeling like you are working toward something, piece by piece, just like the characters are doing to restore their island. It’s not “The Game of the Year” or “The Best of All Time”, but it’s something small that can occupy a small space in my brain when everything else feels like too much, and I appreciate that this game was made on purpose- that is to say it wasn’t just made for the sake of slapping something together and calling it a game. The story is thought out, things are revealed similarly to they way they would be in a book, it’s not hyper realistic but I don’t think anybody expects it to be. I’m at a place right now where a lot is going on in my life and most of it feels like too much but this little game has it’s purpose, and it lets me have a little purpose too, outside of everything else. Thank you.

Boy Do I have A Game That’s Not For You!

Imagine you’re at work… and you see an ad for a game that sparks your interest. They let you play the game for 2.54 seconds. You enjoy it. “This is fun,” you think to yourself. You look at your work email to find its slow so you jump off the deep end and download SeasideEscape . You decide to be productive and answer some work emails, then reward yourself with a 5 minute game break. (Life is all about balance, remember that.) Within the first 3 minutes and 28 seconds, you discover that the ad was all a lie. The game you downloaded has absolutely no correlation with the ad. You decide to do some investigating. Upon reviewing SeasideEscape Store, you find the picture that looks just like the ad… attached to the game that is nothing like the ad. Suddenly you don’t believe in people anymore. There’s no truth to what you’re getting. You start to question life and where you went wrong. You’re sweating and shaking all at the same time. How do you survive life? You can’t. It’s all a lie…

I had more fun writing this review than I actually did playing the game that was falsely advertised. Hey marketers? Go back to university. I don’t know what cereal box gave you your degree, but I’d ask for a return. Marketing 101… Market the RIGHT product. You’re no better than credit card scammers.

I Really Like This Game, But…….

I really like this game but it is definitely a money stealer. The energy that you have to use just to make the merges are ridiculous. Then once you get so far there is another merge category thrown in and then you have all these different areas open for merging and no energy to be able to form what you need or space to form them. If you make the mistake of selling or getting rid of what you need then you have to build that item all the way back up. I have spent so much money just within the last two weeks trying to get the items that the customers and the game are requesting and that’s with me being a pretty good strategist, I feel! If it wasn’t for that this game would be so much better for that reason alone I’m going to eventually have to erase the game, at this point I’ve put out more money in this game then the cost of a utility in my home. There’s not enough perks for that amount of money that I’m spending to play it, it wraps you up pulls you in and then and then you run out of energy. One good perk about it is there is little to no ads but in order to play this game successfully you will pay dearly for that perk! Whoever came up with the plot for this game truly did there job. So this is really a fun game but in order to successfully play you have to Pay! So for that reason is why I gave the game 3 stars it is really a 2 but I do like this game.

It get stagnant…

It got me interested up to level 30, kept trying up to level 32 and I think I’m done. I don’t spend money on these types of games never have and most likely never will, so that is a factor to take into consideration. It makes it challenging to advance if you don’t spend money. Storage becomes an issue, you don’t know what to keep or what to throw away in case you are asked for it in the future to fulfill the “orders”. The energy stays on 100 but the items to merge becomes more and more complicated so that only lasts for a few minutes and the you have to wait for another couple of hours to refill. Sometimes, the needed item won’t come until after a ridicule amount of other unnecessary items that consumes your energy come up. Too many side little games that will barely give you energy, coins or diamonds. Paying diamonds for everything but then barely getting any. Again, it’s designed to keep you hooked long enough so then you feel like you have/need to spend $ bc of all the time you put into it. I’m not like that, I know I have a choice and I like to put money into something more fruitful…and of course eventually my time.

It was ok until it wasn’t

At first, this game was a really good game. Super fun, maybe even a little addictive. After a few days of playing, I started noticing whenever I spent rubies in the game to unlock bubble items within the game half the time it would take my gems and not give me the item. The first couple of times it was fine because it was only less than 10 rubies I was using. For some reason when I started attempting to pop some of the higher value bubbles (20+ rubies each) it would take the gems and not give me the reward 100% of the time. Upon reaching out to support about this issue I was told I’ve “never used rubies to purchase bubbles prior to reaching out” which was completely incorrect. Yes it’s just a game and yes (thankfully) I didn’t spend my money to purchase said rubies that were stolen from me, however I’d much rather not play a game where someone from support is going to flat out tell me I’m a lier when its simply rubies that were earned within the game that ended up being stolen by the game. All they had to do was hear me out and fix the problem or just say there was no way to confirm the situation instead of accusing someone of lying about their game glitching.

It’s extremely fun but it’s also quite annoying

Look, I’m just gonna say it. It’s extremely fun and relaxing to merge and stuff but here is the problem. You only have 100 energy which I blast through within seconds. And it takes 2 minutes to get 1 and over 3 FREAKING HOURS JUST TO GET ALL 100 ENERGY BACK! AND IF YOU WANT MORE THEN YOU HAVE TO PAY! I’ve had to spend money on the tempting trio every single time just for the energy to last some time. What frustrates me the most is that whenever there is an event that I’m interested in, I sometimes don’t have enough time to get all the resources to complete it (my fav is the bingo) so maybe either allow the players to collect more overtime with the timer or lower the timer to get energy faster. Other than that I love the game and would have been five stars, bye

By

Great until it isn’t

I’ve been playing this game for months and it’s something I do in my spare time, on an airplane or just bored. I’m at level 100 but I’ve also paid to play quite a few times. Yesterday I went through to see how much I’ve spent and it’s at around $70 across 3 months.

It’s difficult to fill the orders on the higher level unless you pay for more energy and it becomes so complicated to merge it starts to feel like there’s no point. The bingo game is helpful to fill orders but it also takes up a lot of energy and time. I’m now at a point where instead of spending more I’m going to delete bc the energy purchases don’t last enough and I’m not buying a package every day.

I personally feel like while you’re waiting your energy should continue to build even if it’s above 100. Your energy will only grow to 100 and stop there regardless of how long you’ve been waiting and that’s really annoying. So, enjoy it while you can then delete it because it does become frustrating.

My favorite merge game!

I’ve played many merge games and this one by far is my favorite! The only thing is, and by no means am I mad, as I’ve had no issues with my purchases, but just searching for help. I’ve made many purchases and the purchase I made 2 nights ago for the VIP cliff side challenge, was made at 17 creating a bunch of things to claim. I didn’t want to claim all at once as it was late and didn’t want to play much more, so figured I’d save them. Welp I came back to them for the 2nd time today went to claim the most recent one, I got that one, but the rest disappeared… I figured they were in my dump on the board slot on the merge screen & they were just gone. I’m not sure exactly how many I lost, but I’m going to guess 10? Can someone help please 🙁

Getting Frustrated

I started playing the game to play the tiles. Then when I saw that I had to do all this other stuff before I can play the tiles, I didn’t like it at first. All of a sudden the tiles game part ended. By this time I start liking the game a little bit. But now, get to the point where I can’t, I can’t clear my board. My board is getting full and is getting frustrated that they don’t give me the pieces that I need when I click on the stuff to get the pieces that I need to clear orders. Then you all added additional items like cupcakes and all that stuff you know is getting is getting to the point where I can’t clear nothing and my board is getting full faster and then the games allow me the right pieces to fill orders. But before I can complete a new game that started it expires before I can ever clear it. It’s not getting to be un-fun.

One of my Fave Games But

I LOVE this game a lot and have spent so much money because it’s genuinely an addiction BUT I’ve been noticing how the further you get on and level up, the more unreasonable difficult it gets. I understand because you level up, it has to be a diff setting but why do we not get an upgrade on how much energy we have? I’m on the medkit part and it takes all 100 of the energy to gather items for whatever is needed and it doesn’t even complete the order list. Can we get more energy as we level up? Like it stays at 100 even though the orders gets more difficult so it takes even days to complete orders.

You did it again…and again

So I’m adding to my previous review… so you got rid of the small daily freebie? It was not much to begin with and we can even have that? More than a few of the reviews have to do with the blatant push to spend money just to play this game… maybe you should actually read them.

The last time you introduced pieces that merge and then mean nothing, people complained and then you fixed it. Now I’m at a new level and there are pieces that I merge through 5 stages that are supposed to then produce something and one stamp pops out and it disappears. So I’ve wasted 40-50 hits of energy to get one stupid stamp that doesn’t even complete and order because now I need four of those? Give me a break. And this boxing match competition is not fun at all. It’s a rip off. I play this game everyday, but honestly whenever that is the challenge, I’m going to move on until the days go by. You are sucking whatever fun is left in this game out of it because of greed. It’s obvious and it’s turning players away.

Ambivalence: But More Negative Than Positive

This game was cool at first. Maybe up until level 15. (I’m on 71). I’m trying to have fun with the game but this game cheats. It gives you opposite of what you need and it purposefully makes you run out of energy to force you to purchase more energy. Why can’t the creators of this game allow for you to get what you need for the merges without being money hungry. I really like this game and never made a review ever but this game pisses me off being greedy for money during an inflation. The least that can be done is to allow ppl to clear their mind while playing. It’s a very therapeutic and nostalgic feeling you get making the merges of the items. Imagine needing a ring but all keeps being produced with the energy is flowers. By having to waste energy and being money hungry really makes the game 0 stars. Because when that happens you barely play the game. Not to mention this is not even the real seaside escape. This game is suppose to be a fun 2 player tile game and this is something else. Fix the game to allow fair use for the players.

Becomes impossible

It's yet another one of those games that's so much fun, until it becomes impossible to progress. It's gotten super frustrating. You're trying to merge items to create bigger and better ones, then you sell those items and that's how you get money to renovate the island. But you also need supplies to renovate the island, and those are SUPER hard to come by. You need to use energy to create items to merge, but it loads soooooo slowly and only goes up to 100. And now it's to where 100 energy bolts won't even make one item. It takes several hours to load up your energy and then to not even be able to progress after waiting is really annoying. Certain orders will give you money AND a box of supplies, but you still need to merge the supplies into the ones you need, and THAT takes several boxes of supplies also. So you're taking several energy cycles per order, and several orders per supply box, which means I have enough money to build but can't get supplies. If you wanna pay real money for energy, be prepared to pay A LOT. It's not worth it.

I don’t ever write these.. until today..

The game itself is a good game.. what would make it even better are the pop-ups and wanting you to buy buy buy.. nonstop.. some people (like myself) play these games to escape their already hectic life and when you get into the game and you’re trying to enjoy the moments you’ve escaped from, you have nonstop pop-ups wanting you to spend money. It’s one thing when you login to the game and then the pop-up's show but when you’re in the middle of doing something and you have seconds to give products and then you see all these pop-ups wanting you to spend money and then realizing you lost out of giving which would give you more space on the board.. that gets irritating. If I want to spend money and buy more products, I know the area I can go to in order to do so. Seems like the developer is more interested in making a buck than anything.

Annoyed

I’ve been playing this game for a while. I really enjoy it and understand that it ends up getting to the point where you might not fill an order every day. It’s a cute game with a nice story. I adore Mia and Emilie, and Lee was funny during the Strawberry Festival event.

There were things I didn’t like. Biggest thing being that the tile game only has twenty games. Sorta weird since the ad that made me wanna get it featured the tile game heavily. But I let that slide since the merge game was really fun. I also don’t like the fact that so many things pop up when you open the game. And I can’t stand how they give you a tutorial you can’t skip, no matter how long you’ve been playing. Irritating, but I overlooked these.

However, today I’m really irritated. I’m at level 41 right now, trying to get Kristos the highest merge for the olive oil. Today they changed how the source piece for the olives works. As it is, it takes ages to get high-level merges, but now it’s asking that we tap the olive source block seven times just to get one item. *One stupid item.* This update is pointless and aggravating.
It’s making me think about finding a different merge game, which makes me sad because I like Seaside Escape a lot. I hope you guys undo this new feature, because it just didn’t seem like a good choice.

Oh man this game is a hot mess 😅

It’s your typical merger, you’ve got very limited energy to use, and the game is very demanding. It’s chaotic really. The “storyline” is disastrous. It jumps all over the place and isn’t very clear about who is who. I got pretty confused after it started up five different character conversations but then didn’t keep any of them going in order. So that aspect of the game needs work.

The game is constantly throwing new challenges and competitions in your face, and most of them aren’t optional. I just want to play the main event in the game and it keeps giving me a million other side quests to do. Each of these separate challenges costs you energy, and usually rubies. It’s annoying because you’ll never have enough energy to complete anything unless you spend money.

I’m also kinda over having random characters being constantly snarky and rude to me lol like I have enough of that irl. I play these games to relax.

I want to like this game…

There are so many annoying things. They are all small but add up. I wish that you had an option to reject an order if it has been on your board for say 1 month. I wish you could decide if you want to participate in one of the extra games. I wish there was an undo option for accidentally clicking orders or buying items. I worked for a month to try to perfect a set. First you most get a level 8 set of another type over and over to generate the tool for that set. Then, you can make items for this particular set. There are 10 items in a set. I had item 9 and item 7 but was almost to a second item 7. There was an order for item 7 that I’ve been ignoring for over a month now. Today, it accidentally got clicked. No way to undo.

Also, the red hat guy really needs to loose his hat once his story line gives him an apathy awakening. Just saying…

The Story is Shockingly Good

More people should be talking about the storyline attached to the game! As you fill orders you repair the town. As the town is repaired a whole story unfolds. It’s a real story with complex characters and plot lines, that does not rely on cheap shocks (like that pregnant lady in the snowstorm we are all tired of seeing). The animation is beautiful as well.
-Why not a 5 star? The game is advertising it is something it isn’t. It doesn’t need to, because it’s solid as it is. It has no mahjong tiles and it doesn’t show the repairs inside the houses (it shows restoration in the outside of the buildings. It shouldn’t lie about what it is and isn’t.
-It is a match/ merge game. It gives you a set amount of plays “energy” per hour and caps at 100 until you use it again. You fill orders on a defined merge grid. It’s a fun game that is satisfying because you can see the progress in the beautiful village and with the awesome story.
-It doesn’t have ads, but it does have pay to play options for energy currency and boosts. I can play it casually without buying anything, or pay for the $5 battle pass-like boost twice a month for a faster game when I’m playing more (like on a road trip). I’ve never felt a need/ want to spend more than that.

Best game I’ve ever played!

I have adhd and most games usually either stress me out or bore me to death, but this game is so much fun!! You can’t binge it so it’s good for keeping you off the screen but it’s so much fun to come back to every hour and use the energy that’s been accumulating, and make what the customers are asking for. I don’t really acknowledge that it’s customers just orders or things to merge to and it’s so much fun!! I think I’ve had this game for about 2 months which is the longest I’ve ever kept a video game on my phone I think, other than Roblox that I don’t play😅😅 I could go on and on, and I really can’t find absolutely anything about this game that is negative!! Definitely play it if you have adhd, or at least try it out, it is quite literally the best game ever to me!!

Great Overall - No Ads

This is my favorite merging game. There’s no ads which I greatly appreciate and a fun storyline with plenty of challenges to keep the game interesting.

My only complaint and the reason I only give it 4 stars is because I’ve noticed over time that they’ve been giving less and less rewards for the same tasks. It used to be so much more and it makes me sad that you put in so much effort to the game for little to nothing. I get that they want to make it a challenge but it’s gotten to the point where it feels pointless to even try when it takes your entire energy bank to get 1/4 of the way to a single items. In the challenges, it used to reward you very generously which set it aside from other games but now you barely get a coin here or there. When you level up, it used to give you an energy chess or 100 energy points, switching off every other level. Now you only get the 100 energy which is still nice but with how much energy you have to use to get no where, it doesn’t seem like anything at all.

I hope that the developers see this and make adjustments to make the game fun and rewarding again. I still love the game and find it relaxing. Thank you for making it!

Fun game but the pop ups/constant events nearly ruin it

I like this game and it’s currently my go to but I am so freaking sick of every time I get on having to go through AT LEAST 5 pop ups to the point I usually just close the game and reopen it. Most of them are about the mini events but do you really need to have 5 mini events going on at the same time CONSTANTLY? Is your main storyline lacking that much that you have to over supplement it with 5+ other things to distract users? I can understand 1-2 events but I got on SeasideEscape just now and there are literally 5 - treetop adventure, photo hunt (which is pointless because it’s impossible to complete because it constantly gives you repeats), skybound isle (doesn’t even make sense with the game), garden quest, and phantom of the attic. Three of those five end within the next 24 hours so guess what I can expect? A bunch more pop ups to cover the three more events that will replace them. It’s overkill and it’s ruining the entire game.
