As salaam au alikum My Quran app stops after each Surah unless I’m on the app it didn’t used to do this just recently. How can I fix this please ?

As Salaamu Alaikum, My Quran app is showing the translation in a different language instead of English. I went into settings, selected “English”. Quit, and went back into the app, but the translation language is still not in English. Can you please assist? Jazak Allah khayr.
