I can scroll but that’s about it. I can’t even click the links in the table of contents. You guys need to fix your app. I would also like to be able to just click on a button to take me back to the very beginning so I don’t have to scroll the entire magazine to find my next article. Really disappointed with EmpireMagazine. It’s practically 2020. Make it work

On an iPad Air 2 the interactive features like scrolling through pictures no longer work. If an update was made to fix this I would consider getting a subscription.

The download mechanism is pathetic.
Downloads are slow on fast internet/WiFi and if you switch to another app or your screen/lockout times out... the download stops and cannot resume.
This is amateur work, guys.

The best movie magazine in the world has converted into one if the best magazine apps on the iPad. I used to have this delivered to my home in the U.S. because since Premiere stopped publishing, this was by far the best movie magazine in the World. What used to cost me $100 a year to have delivers from the UK now costs $20 for a year. The content matches the magazine exactly, and is even better on the iPad with extra digital content.

I loved getting the paper copy in the mail - it is a beautiful magazine to have and looks awesome on a coffee table. I grab the latest copy whenever I am in the UK and will grab the occasional one in a Barnes and Noble if it has a feature on a movie I am really excited about (most recently, they Man of Steel issue). But you lose nothing with the iPad version. It is the best magazine app I have found an look forward to each issue, along with the convenience of having it with me all the time to read when I have the chance. Can't recommend it enough.

I've always loved the magazine, but it was just too expensive on the newsstand. The digital version is well worth the subscription price.

UPDATE: EmpireMagazine does not work with iOS8. Either it tells me to restart EmpireMagazine (and I actually had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work), or it deletes the issue I just downloaded after closing EmpireMagazine , and then i have to go through the uninstall/reinstall process again.

UPDATE 2: Update for iOS 8 has corrected the issues. I can read my magazine again! Thanks for the quick fix.

Since Premiere closed there's been nothing over here for proper movie fans. Empire is british but it's so far and away the best movie magazine out there (though the printed magazine is pretty hard to find). Didn't even know they were doing one for the US until I saw it. BEST. DAY. EVER!!

Amazingly written, full of great stuff (there's about 50 pages just on Batman!) and absolutely huge! Seriously, if you're even remotely interested in movies then this is now the most important thing on your iPad.

I love the magazine and is a longtime subscriber. EmpireMagazine makes it impossible to read. I finally managed to download an issue which took several days of trying. Now EmpireMagazine crashes ALL THE TIME - even when the iPad into sleep mode or when you just switch to another app. And EmpireMagazine DOES NOT REMEMBER YOUR PLACE. So you have to open the issue again and navigate to the place you were. It is thus impossible to read an issue because if you put aside the iPad even for a second, you have to start again. Simply inexcusable.

Interactive and fun to use, this is probably the best digital magazine I've seen. Easy to read and not the typical PDF format whee you scroll left or right, this allows for left, right, up and down, and photo sideshows and extra information at the touch of a button. This is what other digital magazines should strive for!

Excellent movie magazine full of great features, trailers, etc. I highly recommend the annual subscription offer. It is an even better-priced deal than the one for UK subscribers. Those complaining about file size should note that once you finish an issue you can archive it and retrieve it later. This is an amazing magazine.

Empire's app lives up to its print reputation with plenty of eye-catching animations and plenty of trailers to go along with their thorough reporting and reviews.

Two things I'd like to see are the restoration of the ability to mark stories and pages as favorites. And an option to a version for phones. (Although graphics might limit that possibility.)

love EmpireMagazine and magazine it offers, but font size is too small, way too small.
it would be much better if font size is adjustable by users. hope u guys are already working on it for next update. otherwise, many people would rethink about their subscription just like me

I've been a digital iPad subscriber in the U.S. since the first edition. Love the magazine but your new text size leaves a lot to be desired.
Way too small. Please, bring it up a bit or let the reader adjust it. Too hard to read.

The files are large, but if you cloud them after you read them it isn't a problem. The magazine itself is the best in the business by far, especially for movie lovers like me. Glad I found this one.

I've had a digital subscription to Empire for several years. EmpireMagazine wasn't fancy, but it worked. After the update, I can't download the issues. I've deleted EmpireMagazine , reloaded it, restored purchases and it still doesn't work. It says "issue downloading" and then "download error". Love this magazine, but it's not worth the purchase if I can't read it.

I've been waiting so long for this, and finally it has arrived! It was totally worth the wait though. I recommend this to every movie fan. Quality text and graphics and awesome exclusives every month!
