This developer is crap and should NOT be on PieceWorkMagazine Store. They take your money, then don’t give you what you paid for.

App does not work for Apple Users

My subscription is paid through June 2019 but PieceWorkMagazine suddenly does not recognize my subscription. I reported the problem and was given incorrect instructions. When I replied that Apple users are given a different set of prompts, I was ignored and given the same incorrect set of instructions. I will be seeking a refund for what is remaining of my subscription.

Waste of money

Although the content is wonderful history and everything I’ve looked for in the stitching world, I can not even log in. There is no place on PieceWorkMagazine to log in our have contact with customer service. I had to go look up the site on google. When I found a sign in area they wouldn’t take my password.
I paid for and down loaded a lot of back issues but have no idea where they downloaded to. They are not in PieceWorkMagazine Library. I found a couple in my files but not all and can’t open them. This whole thing has me extremely frustrated and angry. I was willing to invest in more material but not now.
I subscribed to the magazine on Amazon, and said it would be
14 - 16 weeks for my first issue. Really??

Unreliable

Apparently, despite having had a multi-year subscription that is current, I cannot download certain issues even after restoring purchases. Restoring purchases may “take several minutes” but there is no status bar or indicator of what is happening. This would be a convenient app if it actually worked.

App

I’ve lost several magazines after I gave my information, it’s as if I had to start over.

iPad Only - Don’t believe the description.

In spite of the fact that PieceWorkMagazine description specifies that it works on the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch, it is only compatible with the iPad. I didn’t discover this until I’d switched devices, and realized my paid subscription was now useless.
I reached out to Interweave asking for a partial refund so that I could subscribe through another app that actually works on the iPhone, but they didn’t bother to respond.

Somewhat disappointing

I was assuming that if I downloaded a back issue I would be able to access it even when offline (like on a plane or in a park). I have not been able to figure out how to do this. I also assumed there would be some straightforward way to print out pattern directions/charts. This is less of an issue for me than my inability to access materials offline. So my digital subscription isn’t meeting my needs as well as I had hoped. On the other hand, it cost much less than buying hard copies of all those back issues. So I’m give a middle of the road three star rating.

Rip off

This mag is really interesting, so when I saw this was being offered free, I decided to download. It is not free.

Winter 2018 issue

When I went overseas recently, I opened PieceWorkMagazine to find the new Winter 2018 issue, and began reading it. Now that I am home, back in the States, the issue doesn’t even show up in PieceWorkMagazine ’s store. What happened to it? Did my leaving the country mean I lost my subscription? I still have all the old issues in my app, just not the recent one. I’m perplexed.
