The new update broke the App

It was used to work fine. The new refresh of the App broke it and it does not restore my issues.
However, the customer service is even worst than the app. I contacted them that their app is broken. They asked me to contact Apple. I did. And apple said that they are only a store front and the publisher needs to correct the problem.
So far, I paid $49.99 to renew my subscription and app doesn’t work. And since more than 30 days has passed canceling the subscription would not get my money back.
At the end of the day they have my money and I have their broken app.
