11 months agoWell, you’ve done it again. Why do you keep removing the most clean cut enjoyable comics and adding the most nonsense I have ever seen. You took out Dennis and now the Family Circus! I may not renew the next time it’s due. It’s getting more and more ridiculous!!

2 years agoDid not receive Sunday's paper, 7/25/21. This is the only day I receive the paper and this is the second missed delivery in four weeks. Very irritating!

2 years agoI have been a customer of the State Newspaper for about 43 years and have had it delivered daily for this period. In the past two weeks my delivery has stopped being placed in the Newspaper box below my mail box and is tossed to different parts of my yard, i.e. in the shrubbery, beneath the shrubbery, and my driveway among others. Why has this sudden delivery location changed. I am not satisfied with this method. What, if any, are my options other than cancelling my subscription?

2 years agoI do NOT know what has happened to my daily subscription to “The State” newspaper, all of a sudden they just STOPPED delivering it to my house and I really would like to know WHY!!!! I paid for a years subscription and they just cut me off and I want answers AND a refund!!!! PLEASE HELP

Lousy App
This app crashes frequently. The news content is often several days old and no longer accurate, and you are limited in the amount of free content you can read before being asked to purchase a subscription. As a lifelong resident of Columbia, SC, and a former subscriber to The State, I still enjoy reading the publication, but only minimally slow. The State is not the publication it used to be. And here’s a news flash for The State: People don’t have to pay for news anymore.

Terrible app
This app was tweaked several weeks back for the much, much worse. I have read The State for 70 years, the last 15 on my iPad. I liked the facsimile of the printed newspaper. Since the most recent tweak, it has been a rare day that anything worked well. No online paper again today. Much more of this and you will lose another reader. Get it right and smooth or we are gone.

The opposite of Robust
This app is sluggish, and that’s being generous. When you click on the pop-up alerts appearing on your screen, they take forever to activate the app, that is, if you’re lucky. Sometimes the app will not activate at all. Why is this the only app on my smart phone that does not perform even halfway decently. Can they not hire people to fix this?
